The vie of the room was great it was the best thing about the room. The location of the was awesome I was able to park my car when I arrived and I walked to everything. I didn't move my car until i was ready to check out.

The rooms didn't have air conditioning and it was very hot and the outlets didn't work properly. I would book through the hotel rather than booking.com. Booking.com stole my money and they are refusing to give it back saying the hotel did it when I have print outs from the hotel. I talked to only the people from booking.com and they charged my credit card so they are the ones with my credit card information to steal my money.

Myself and two friends came to Santa Cruz for a quick get away. We are three older ladies, our room was on the second floor the room was nice, view was remarkably beautiful. We parked our car when we arrived and didn’t move it until we left. Easy walk to the beach, pier, and boardwalk. We enjoyed breakfast in the morning, cookies in the afternoon, and cheese and wine in the evenings. It was a safe place to sit by a fire in a private spot on the property and enjoy the amenities and sites.

The private sitting areas, enjoying the fire pits, and the security. We felt completely comfortable enjoying the sounds of the waves knowing we were safe.

The Sea & Sand is a lovely place to stay in Santa Cruz. It's centrally located, great ocean views, and the staff is absolutely wonderful! The grounds around the Sea & Sand are beautiful. The attention to detail, flowers and succulents are amazing! There's also several outside seating seating areas with firepits and views of the ocean, wharf and boardwalk. I would highly recommend the Sea & Sand for a relaxing getaway and I look forward to a return stay!

The location with ocean views allowed us to listen to waves all night. The grounds are pleasant to sit in and watch the coastal life. The breakfast each morning offered a good variety of foods to choose from. We particularly enjoyed the blueberry scones and the yogurt parfaits. Offering free parking and a free breakfast is a positive incentive to bring us back.

We wish there were more restaurants within walking distance. The selection is limited to the wharf and the Boardwalk.

View of the beach and ocean was stellar. Beautiful sunrises every day here. Sitting right on West Cliff Drive, you can walk alongside the ocean, and watch the surfers. Also within walking distance of convenient store, great restaurants, the wharf, and the Boardwalk.

Bed was a bit too firm for me, but the staff provided extra comforters to solve the issue.

Gorgeous property, the care the staff paid to make the grounds beautiful was impressive. The hot breakfast with cheese omelets and bacon, and the wine and cheese events were lovely. Our new favorite place and you cant beat the views. if Dream Inn is too many people for you, you will love this charming hotel. aright next door and free parking!

Really nothing

The location can’t be beat. The views both in the morning in the evening or wonderful.

The rooms have no air conditioning. Not even a ceiling fan, which would have helped give some breeze in the room. It was warm and stuffy. It would have also been nice to have had a full length mirror on the inside of the closet door. Two very simple fixes that would have made for a nicer stay.

Great location, with amazing views. Staff were friendly and welcoming. Offered an amazing breakfast selection with coffee/tea all day. The cookies and cheese tasting just added to the experience to make this a very special location on our trip.

It was one of the more expensive hotels we stayed at during the 14 day trip.

The view was outstanding from our room to the private property. Loved the seating arrangements to choose from. All with a view.

Had cleaning services every day but we were given one washcloth on day 2 and none for day 3. Asked the front desk for 2 washcloths and she brought was 2 hand towels because she said they didn't have any.

Beautiful views, private patio with locked gates all around. I love that you can hear the sounds of the waves crashing all night long.

The bathroom door does not lock. I didn't like this because i couldn't shower without my little one getting in and slipping on the floor.
