Group of friends gathering for a birthday celebration. This motel was close to the celebration. We brought our cruisers...and rode everywhere...the beach, the gathering, downtown, the boardwalk... Simple accommodation, a little dated, but clean, which is the most important to me.

I didn't care for the early check in charge of $30, when the room was clearly ready. I think that is poor business. I would appreciate a few simple items for the kitchen. For example, a bottle opener/cork screw. Plates/cups. It is clearly noted in the reservations that there are no items in the kitchen, so it wasn't a surprise. Just would have been nice.

Clean two separate bedrooms with a shower in between. We were two friends traveling togther and this was PERFECT! - Comfortable beds, very clean, very quiet, great water pressure in the shower, friendly owners. We had a very refreshing good night rest and went on a full day of exploring and hiking felt amazing. I highly recommend. Also for families - if the parents want to be able to close their bedroom door and have the kids in their own separate room - this affordable suite is a huge plus.

It was great

The suit was perfect for a family traveling with children! We were able to have a separate room of our own, but did not have to book a completely separate 2nd hotel room to accommodate 4 kids + 2 adults. It was wonderful! The location was very close to the attractions that we wanted. The staff was wonderful and kind. Very helpful with directions and answers to our questions. The air conditioning was great, and we were very appreciative of the ice machine and kitchenette in our suit.

The parking lot was full and we had some trouble getting in and out, but I do not think that was something the hotel could have changed. We were traveling on a holiday weekend and it was just a particularly busy time.

Staff was friendly and quick to help accommodate any needs. We where allowed to complete our check in process and park our vehicles there before check in time to be able to walk to the boardwalk and upon arrival that night our room keys where already waiting for us. Entire room was spacious and clean with lots of towels provided. Bed's where very comfortable as well. The suite layout and option was great for our family. It's definitely easier to know your entire family is all withing one suite. Will definitely consider stay here again on our next trip.

Parking lot is very small and compact.

Quiet location, clean rooms and daily housekeeping. Between 2 Queen rooms (130 & 131), we had ample space for our group of 5 people and sporting gear. The motel is good value, given that each bed area is separated by the bathroom and doors.

Both times we have stayed here, there has been a bombed-out car in the parking lot. The tires and windows are gone; it looks awful. Presumably a longtime guest is using it as a storage locker. Sadly, it makes the place look crummy when obviously the motel owners are putting effort into overall cleanliness of the common areas and rooms.

Location: Across from The San Lorenzo River, walking distance to the Santa Cruz Beach Boardwalk and the main beach. It is also walking distance to the Downtown area.

Some outside noise, but they cannot control so its ok - Other then that all good. Oh they do not have a continental breakfast

Quiet clean renovated property. Large room, larger bathroom, modern shower, coffee maker. My room had a fridge and a kitchenette which was nice. WiFi was fine. Located right on the river walk. Everyone working there was very nice, the owners care about their property. I traveled alone and felt very safe.

Staff were very friendly. Room was clean. Bed was clean. Great value loved the kitchenette, we brought anything and everything we needed to cook. The water got very hot quickly. Guests were courteous and friendly.

The carpet in the room was so sticky not as surprising for a budget stay. The rooms had a hint of urine smell. The kitchenette lacked any dishes or supplies only had one dish towel. Ice machine takes quarters to use.

Everything was great. Hotel is located near to the bus station and to the beach, so it was possible to reach every needed destination within 10 minutes walk. Clean rooms, nice and friendly staff, who helped me with solving all problems (even not related to the stay in hotel itself).

Love the location. Super close to Boardwalk and Wharf, also to restaurants and convenience stores. All within walking distance. I always stay around this location because I never need a car.

Dated but everything was really good.
