Samantha at the front desk is exceptional. I have stayed with Best Western Ocean Blvd location quite a few times. The couple of incidents that I have had, Samantha has gone out of her way to make sure that I am happy. She is one of the reasons that I choose to stay at this location.

I had a spider in my room. That was a first. However Samantha was able to give us a new room for my stay.

Easy parking, breakfast included, helpful staff

I wasn’t told upon check-in that housekeeping services were only by request, the floor in my room was dirty, when I went down to breakfast at the midpoint of the time frame, they were out of most of the hot items and it wasn’t replenished while I was there.

Location is great. Breakfast is well-stocked and included lots of options including hot prepared foods (scrambled eggs, potatoes, breakfast meat), a waffle station, toasting machine, pastries, yogurt with toppings, oatmeal, milk, several juice options, and by-the-cup coffee machine.

Best Western Wifi was unreliable, but if I signed in with my personal Xfinity ID I had no problem.

the location was easy to find and on two main streets. the parking garage is a nice positive. The whole building was freshly remodeled so everything was clean of course. Breakfast and espresso definitely added value to the trip.

some of the renovations weren’t touched up yet, lots of odds and ends that need to be addressed but nothing major. A map showing where the amenities are would be helpful, like ice, hot tub etc.

I liked that it accommodated my pet as she is part of my family. I also liked having breakfast with the stay.

Having my room right in front of the breakfast area. All you do is hear beeping from the waffle machines. Those should not be lined up where the rooms are.

The size of the room was great. It offered a full breakfast, which was nice.

We didn't care for the sensor light. When we got up during the night to use the bathroom, the sensor light went on, and stayed on for about 30 minutes without being able to turn it off!

The check in staff accommodated our need for a different room because we had a puppy with us. We like that the hotel is dog friendly.

The housekeepers schedule didn't mesh with ours. No fault but inconvenient.

We liked the bed was comfortable, breakfast was nice. Close proximity to the Santa Cruz Beach Boardwalk.

The room and bathroom were not very clean. We didn't want to use the Bathtub jets due to it didn't look clean.

it was very well laid out, the hotel was very clean, breakfast was very good and the location was excellent.

parking was VERY tight and the bathtub wasn’t very clean, likely because it didn’t drain properly.

The room was super spacious and I was very surprised by the space. The bed was comfortable, with lots of pillows, and warm space. I checked out the breakfast, What a nice Spread! Gotta check it out!

The bathroom light is triggered by movement, so one has to close the bathroom door, to reduce the light. That's about it.
