- This hotel was a pretty close walk to the boardwalk & pier. If you have a wagon or stroller, you do have a short detour, but the walk is around 5 minutes only. - The room was clean. - There was a microwave & fridge in the room. - Beds were comfortable and clean.

- Limited breakfast options - Limited parking - Shower water pressure was weak! - There were only small trashcans in the room & no extra trash bags were provided.

Beautiful clean room, comfy bed, good size. 7 minutes walk from Santa Cruz Beach Boardwalk. Food and shopping all in walking distance. I woke up not feeling well (an ongoing issue for me). Checked out at 11am, drove just a couple of minutes and realized I wouldn't be safe driving. I pulled over, called the hotel and they were able to get me a new room immediately! I will definitely come back here again 🩷😊🩷😊🩷 Very nice and welcoming staff. Thank you!

I can't complain about anything!

The front desk staff was very welcoming. The hotel guests like older couples were welcoming compared to other hotels I’ve been to (Monterey, San Francisco, etc.). My girlfriend and I enjoyed laying in the jacuzzi and having a decent amount of breakfast options (would recommend adding breakfast sausages, sliced ham, or bacon). It’s a nice downhill walk to the pier and boardwalk. We’d love to stay here again.

The bed is hard but it seemed to not bother my lingering hip and back issues. The curtain in our suite is torn and needs to be replaced.

HoJo was where to stay back in the day and now that it's a Wyndham property, I thought we would give it a try. The property is pretty old with newer cosmetic updates in the room like a backlit mirror and comfortable beds. The location was amazing, we had an ocean view and were able to easily walk to the wharf. The beds were comfortable, the room was clean, and we were able to park right outside the door to our room.

The layout of the room was odd and there was no place to sit and relax, other than on a bed, and the fridge was in a bedroom rather than in a common area. The continental breakfast was primarily bread items, it would have been nice to have some kind of protein options. With that said, we came to go to the boardwalk and sleep, and we were able to do both of those things easily.

We walked 1 block and were at the ocean. We parked the car at the hotel when we first got there and then we never got in the car until we left. Close to everything we wanted to do.

The hotel online said the jacuzzi had a disabled lift that my husband could get in the water. It was broken and the staff made it seem like it had been broken for a while. Also not a lot of hot food breakfast options.

I enjoyed staying in the comfortable room. The staff came in when I had issues with the toilet (the valve was not working). However, I didn't need the help.

The got tub was not HOT. I would prefer a different breakfast. I have stayed at other Wyndham hotels, and there's usually a hot food option.

The location of the hotel was perfect walking distance to the beach/wharf and also a small convenient store.The view from our room was perfect relaxation when coming back and putting our feet up.

There were just two things I didn’t like about my room.First,the bed was so uncomfortable.I could feel the springs through the mattress.Second,the lighting was way too bright.It doesn’t allow you to light the room partially.Either full blast or none at all.

The general manager Celeste was very helpful when I had an emergency with my daughter. Very understanding an relatable. Check in was quick an easy. Easy walk to the board walk.

Need to up date the mattress. You could feel the springs. An there was no soap for hands washing in bathroom. But I always carry my own. Gps led me to the wrong side of building. This little gem of a property should have a huge sign right at the round about, not at the bridge side.

Manager Celeste is absolutely amazing. She has been instrumental in assisting the renovations under the new management. She was friendly from Day 1! Also goes the extra mile for guests; it is obvious she puts her heart into & enjoys her job! David & the other staff are also GREAT. VERY refreshing!!

They had some worn out mattresses... but actually got new ones!

The staff were very welcoming and professional. The rooms are just darling and the location is great , close to the beach and close to the boardwalk. Lots of places to eat close by. Enjoyed my stay . Breakfast was good.

There was no grocery store near by .
