I have stayed at other hotels and was not satisfied with the accommodations. However, I can honestly say that my stay at Ayres Hotel was the best. The room was very clean. The beds were very comfortable. The breakfast was very enjoyable. The staff was very friendly. I travel to California for work and relaxation several times out of the year and I have been searching for a good hotel with excellent accommodations. Your hotel checks all the boxes, and I am so please to have found a hotel that I will look forward to staying at during my visits to California and I will be sure to recommend your hotel to my family and friends. Thank you.

There was nothing I did not like about the Ayres Hotel.

The hotel is beautiful and in a beautiful area we chose it because my grandfather lives at the ivy and we came to visit him and we could walk to go visit him. Rooms are nice beds are comfy, and the breakfast was great, and made right there so you know it is cooked fresh that's a plus, staff was very nice held our bags because our room was not ready for early check in, which was just fine. I would stay there again if I ever visit that area again.

Only thing I did not like was not having a lot of time to enjoy it.

Check in staff, cleaning and breakfast staff were all polite and helpful. Hotel and room were clean, quiet and comfortable. Very good location for going into LA or Orange County. Good restaurants within a 5 mile radius. I would stay there again.

Breakfast was probably fine for those eating eggs, meat and pastries Bread, bagels, fresh fruit and coffee were fine and great to have almond milk available. It would be nice to have more choices for those not eating animal products and those avoiding high sugar content and added oils. The packaged oatmeal had sugar and the peanut butter had unnecessary oil and sugar. Please consider vegetarian choices like cereals and spreads that do not have any added sweeteners (natural or synthetic), nor added oils.

Bed was comfortable. We were worried about the noise level so close to the freeway. It was QUIET. Check in folks were very pleasant on Thursday afternoon. Israel was especially helpful. Monday morning checkout lady (Long blonde hair) was NOT pleasant. She did not say thanks for staying with us or inquiring about our stay. She needs some people skills. Breakfast was decent. The lady working in the breakfast room was really pleasant and hard working.

The homemade breakfast was exceptional. The room was nice, clean and comfortable. I didn’t really like paying more for the room overlooking the courtyard. Maybe do those first come first served in the reservation? A little pricey for the location.

Close to home for our staycation. Clean, nice staff, good breakfast.

Jacuzzi way too cold and this was a main reason for our stay. We couldn’t wait to soak in a nice hot jacuzzi and it was not enjoyable unfortunately. Also the TV’s are archaic. The remotes and maneuvering of the channels was so complicated. Limited options couldn’t access streaming. Another reason for our night away from kids movies!

Spacious rooms. Everything you needed — iron, Fridge, Microwave, AC & bathroom & full length mirror & charing points. Laundry facilities upstairs. Comfortable bed. Little convenience shop in lobby. Close to shops & fast food.

Filthy disgusting towel and wrappings in my room on arrival (handed it into front desk). Breakfast was complimentary but not great — canteen style with lots of styrofoam containers. “City view” was ground floor view of motorway & car park (kept curtains closed). AC was loud and wouldn’t turn off. But still nothing major. Enjoyed our stay

Quick Trip, but Ayres was awesome! Our rooms were next to each other as requested, comfortable and easily accessible! Breakfast was outstanding! We were only able to have it one of our mornings, but she does a wonderful job and offers a great variety, which was very nice for our family!

Good location, good customer service , overall good experience, awesome breakfast, drinks, snacks, working swimming pool and jacuzzi. Security is always visible. The king bed was large and comfy enough for wife and 2 kids.

Sofa bed , which i slept on for 3 nights, was not comfortable at all, I could feel the springs touching my body and it has some pretty old stains and a couple dead bugs on it. Glad the hotel provided bedsheets linen and blankets. Next time I'll get a 2 queens instead.

The staff is outstanding! Room size is very comfortable, and the rooms were clean. We had a king-size bed along with a sofa bed (which worked great because our son joined us for a night in the room). Breakfasts are very complete—better than the usual hotel breakfasts. The location worked well for us, as it’s right by the freeway, so it was easy for us to get to CSULB for graduation and to other locales like Laguna Beach for hiking.

Our room looked out over the freeway—it was not a problem for us at all. The room was relatively quiet. But other folks might have a problem with it. I believe our room was labeled as a “city view”. It worked just fine for us, though.
