Can't beat the value and location. At the end of the main strip of Sonora, so easy to walk to restaurants. Harry does everything, from check in to getting breakfast set up in the morning. He also keeps a watchful eye over the property, providing a sense of security. Property has a certain quaintness and historic feel.

Parking requires going up a steep lane, on the left side of the entrance. Property may not be for everyone but you will love it if you are into vintage.

We loved the historic charm, and Harry was the best. He was kind and always available. Breakfast was delicious and had a personal touch to it. Loved the lemon cake! We plan to come regularly. Parking was great, pool was refreshing, walking distance to bars and restaurants. The rocking chairs out front was probably our favorite part.

The owner of the place is very humble and helful guy. He took care of our need immediately. The property has an antique vibe which makes the stay more meaningful. Though the hotel looks old but it doesn’t lack in comfort. Their complementary buffet breakfast was the cherry on top. Definitely will go there another time.

I love everything about this place from the friendly staff especially Harry who always meets my accommodations. The location is perfect if you're traveling to Sonora and I love the fact that it is one of the oldest buildings in town and the history of the whole place is very fascinating.

They don't offer early check in

The room was bigger and nicer than expected. The manager set out breakfast a little early since we we needed to leave early. No to go cups was a slight problem. Had to stop at a gas station for coffee. The bed wS very comfortable, I don't remember falling asleep.

WALKWAYS were a little rough.

charming hotel on the Main Street downtown, comfortable and had large bathroom. Good breakfast, nothing fancy , just enough items to be satisfied for an early meal. Friendly and helpful staffs.

Parking lot should be paved. Gets muddy after rain. Can be a noisy if you get room facing main road.

breakfast was good and hostess mommy who prepared breakfast was very kind/generous. if you meet her at breakfast then, ask her which place is recommended to visit near the city then, we will advise every local historic things which you could not get through googlemap.

No fridge / microwave and WIFI signal was so marginal.

Staff was very friendly and Courteous. Great rooms with each having its own uniqueness. Breakfast was good and the dining area is in a very special historic area of the Hotel.

Will stay here every time we travel to Sonora CA.

We love everything about the Gunn house. Harry in the office is always so friendly and helpful. My family and I have stayed here several times. It is our go to place to stay whenever we're in Sonora.

This place is unique, On of the coolest places we have ever stayed. Bed was comfortable, food was good, Front desk clerk very attentive as well as gentleman overseeing breakfast. Very clean!
