* it's old-school luxury from the 80s. It's time for a refurbishment * Even on the 8th floor there is low-grade noise from the highway. I had to use ear-plugs * way too poor lighting. There was no main lamp on the ceiling. * the area around the hotel isn't exciting nor nice - just a residential area really and virtually everyone drives by car * Bed mattress was too soft

We were extremely surprised by the updates to this old Red Lion hotel. Very welcoming with modern updates throughout. Starbucks inside the hotel with a large variety of items for purchase. Full Restaurant. Lounge and bar were available after 5pm. Very friendly staff. The biggest indoor pool I've encountered at any hotel that was mostly empty. Outdoor hot tub. Security was great. Plenty of onsite safe parking. Key used to access floor in elevator and pool area. Multiple small elevators to use. The room was fresh and clean. Great shower amenities from Crabtree and Evelyn were wall mounted. Water pressure perfect. Nice towels. Even the little nightlight built into the bathroom light switch so you don't have to turn on the light or stumble to find the door in the night. We were happy that the walls were not thin and it was very quiet overall. There is plenty of shopping nearby. I would definitely choose this hotel again. Don't let the negative reviews sway you. This hotel was perfect for our family visiting Denver.

The double beds listed. sometimes end up being queen size beds. Not this hotel. They are full size. The pillows were ok and the bed was little firmer than I'd like personally. The bed linens were good. The biggest complaint I had was the noise from the wall mounted heat/air conditioner. It was loud in my room. My daughter's room didn't seem to be as loud. I simply turned it off during the night and the room stayed warm enough even with temps in the 20/30's at night. We tried the restaurant for breakfast one morning and found it was just ok and it was pricey. The waitstaff were very professional on the plus side.

Room was clean, spacious and well decorated. The AC worked very well and the linen was comfortable. I liked the security of the gated parking lot and requiring to use a room key to access the elevators. Staff was courteous and professional, checking in was easy.

The shower temperature gauge was difficult to use for my room, maybe this isn't the case in all rooms. The water wouldn't come out hot or cold for a long time even when set at the maximum, and when it did it was sudden. The tub faucet didn't have this problem.

Clean and comfortable room, had an ice box, coffee maker, large screen TV and desk with plenty of outlets and USB ports., Shower had plenty of hot water. Always love the cookies. Also, staff was helpful. The first room they gave us had a connecting door with the adjoining room, and we could hear the loud TV through that door. The desk clerk was able to change us to a non-adjoining room, that also had the benefit of a mountain view.

Room lighting was okay, but could have used a more overall room lighting scheme rather than relying on the two night stand lights to light the entire room. Also didn't like the parking fee.

The hotel staff were very professional and very nice. They absolutely made the stay better than I had expected! My 2 kids absolutely loved the hotel and the pool! The room and view were excellent and I couldn't be happier with my stay! Will definitely be seeing them again!

The only thing I did not care for not that I didn't like was the arrangement of snacks they had which was limited and should definitely be expanded to cover the needs of every guest that stays there! Other then that one thing definitely one of the very best hotels I've stayed at!!!!!!!!!

We didn’t have have breakfast at the hotel we went out to different restaurants for breakfast and dinner. The location was good we didn’t have to drive too far to get to the places we wanted to go and see.

It could have been better if my son birthday gift (yoda pillow) was turned in. We forgot it in the room 414 when we checked out on 09-29-2024. I called to see if it was turned in but unfortunately it wasn’t. They checked on it twice with housekeeping but nothing was reported or returned. Sadly I have to tell my son his birthday yoda pillow is missing and won’t be seeing it again ☹️😢💔.

BIG pool, excellent weight room, friendly staff, good to excellent food. King size bed was very comfortable. Luxurious lobby and food areas

Pool water didn’t seem to be super clean; same for hot tub. Parking was confusing. Took me several days to realize there was parking on the second level ( I had asked about better parking spot closer to an entrance with no reply). Food was very expensive for the value. Elevator use was confusing, like wack a mile.

Room was good location too

Didn't like the check in the person that help us check in Didn't even told us the pool hours or the bar hours and he had us waiting there when he walked away with out telling us that we were done with the check in. until the other younger lady that was taking care of another person told us, plus he changed my nephews name in someone else's name even though he showed him the ID and we find out at the end that he changed it again to a MYSTERY GUEST. I think he needs to be more concentrated on doing his job, what if they had kicked my nephew out of his room or something just cause someone is not doing things right.

Wish I could've had the breakfast didn't get a chance, pretty good gym though, wisn it has one or two more pieces of equipments but pool and hot tub, was good and good relaxing room

Wish I could make the room a little cooler with the ac, a little more room darkening curtains since light came out the bottom and middle still, little more breathable blankets , little more water pressure, but these did not take away from my experience! It was what I needed !

breakfast was really nice and quick, it was tasty and staff was really nice aswell, offered water and coffee multiple times to make sure I was okay, the dinner was really good too and tasty, not expensive and the welcome cookie is always nice.

windows were usually dirty and AC was very noisy, I know it's not exactly staffs fault or anything but wanting a quiet room and not being bothered is nice until the AC starts and stops and sounds like a ford F150.
