The room was very clean and the bed was comfortable. The room had a small refrigerator (the kind with the small freezer inside) that worked well, a microwave, and a 4-cup Mr. Coffee coffee maker. The location was excellent! We were able to ride our bikes down to the lake on a multi-use path that was right across the street. Also a short drive to Rocky Mountain National Park.

We were in the Standard King room (#10) It was a little smaller than I had expected, but we had room for our 2 bikes in front of the couch. The shower was VERY small, but the water was hot and had decent water pressure. The furniture in the pool area was kind of shabby and though the water was clear, the bottom of the pool was dirty. Breakfast was grocery store type bagels, croissants, and muffins, yogurt ...and some days less than that. The milk, butter, cream cheese, peanut butter, jelly was in full-size containers in the fridge that were used by all the guests. It was fine, but don't choose this Motel because of the breakfast.

Such a great place, the room was amazing for our family of 5. I did not expect to have a sofa sleeper WITH 2 beds, that was wonderful. Every morning, housekeeping asked if we wanted our room cleaned. We told them no, but asked for clean towels and extra TP. They got it right away for us, no issue at all. Location was so nice, just a bit outside of town, but so so close to the rodeo arena so we could get to the bullriding event we were in town for with ease. We did have a drain stopper in the bathroom sink that was stuck shut. I went to the office to ask if someone could fix it while we were gone, and the gentleman got up immediately, walked to our room to check it out, and said he would be back with tools. We left to our Rodeo, and when we returned, it was fixed. Very nice people at this hotel. We had access to the pool and hot tub until 10pm every day, and our family really enjoyed that. Breakfast in the office was simple, but exactly what we needed to get each day going. We even had the presence of a young deer in the parking lot and on the grass, eating plants, twice!! Thank you for a wonderful stay!!

Staff were very helpful and welcoming. Location was quiet, despite being close to the road (to my surprise, I didn't notice it at all). Motel is about a 5 min drive from downtown Estes and 20 mins from Beaver Meadows entrance to Rocky Mountains National Park. Room and facilities were very clean and we felt comfortable there. The hot-tub and pool were much appreciated after a day in the mountains. Breakfast could be better but i've definitely had worse. They offer fresh bagels and muffins, spreadable things like cream cheese, jello/jam, and peanut butter, as well as apple sauce, fresh fruit (apples, bananas, oranges), cereal, various types of milk, coffee, juice, water, and hot chocolate. Would definitely stay again!

My partner and I traveled here from Chicago for 7 days, and it exceeded our expectations. Andrea, the manager, was one of the most welcoming, warm people we have ever encountered. There were two guests next to our room that were very rude to the staff, and Andrea handled it professionally. Our room was right next to the office. This motel was located 8 minutes from Rocky Mountains. We will definitely be coming back here. The entire staff was amazing.

The bathroom! Rainhead shower, mirror with defogger, they went all out on the modernization of the bathroom. The location was great, away from the congested mess of Estes Park. They are working on updating the playground for the kiddos. Parking was ok. Bed was comfortable, wifi was good. We stayed in the family suite. Breakfast was muffins or cereal, grabbed a couple muffins for the road, they were good.

Everything was good. Still hard for us old people to figure out Roku TV.

Her room was large and comfortable and very clean it was also very quiet even though it's just off one of the main roads. It was convenient to everything you can walk to the next condo and get the shuttle anywhere downtown or out throughout Estes on the half hour so you don't need to deal with parking only after 8:30 at night. The breakfast was light and self-service and was just enough to get you going. It's a little dated but rustic and nothing else really mattered once we got used to the room. Everything was working and it was a pleasant day became for a wedding.

My son and I visited Estes Park and stayed at Saddle and Surry Motel. It was perfect for our needs. What we got was an affordable clean room with two comfortable queen beds, climate control, shower, microwave, mini fridge, breakfast, and very kind staff. What worked best for me was that the entire motel is single story, and you park right next to your door. I also found that they were very tobacco smoker friendly. It was easy and acceptable to go outside to smoke tobacco. Of course, one should always be very careful of fire hazards and never leave butts or other trash laying around. I felt that the place had a very cool "1970's" vibe. I highly recommend this motel and will be back. By the way, mid-September to mid-October the elk will be a very common sight all around where you are staying even in town!

Staying here was a great way to end our roadtrip through the Rockies. I hadn't expected a whole lot, but was pleasantly surprised by our spacious room and kitchenette. The bathroom was beautifully renovated with antifog mirror and luxurious overhead shower. There was little to no road noise that could be heard from our room. Overall a very comfortable place to stay while visiting the national park. Would definitely stay here again!

If I had to find a complaint, it would be that the trashcan along the sidewalk was knocked over at some point and remained that way for several hours before being addressed. I'm sure it was due to wildlife, which is understandable. i really have nothing else to critique about this place.

Such a rustic, comfy place! My husband and I stayed here for several days while hiking in RMNP. The king room was a nice size, had a cabin feel, and was very comfortable.

The only thing that we would suggest is more outlets in the room and maybe some better shelving in the bathroom; the shower was small.and there really wasn't any place to put shampoo, conditioner, etc. In the shower. Honestly, these are really minor things; we really enjoyed the place!

The room was exceptionally clean, and the bed was so comfortable. Although the furnishings were rather outdated, the staff was very friendly and helpful, and we liked the location a lot. We were there to get in some hiking at RMNP, and it suited our needs perfectly!

I found myself wishing there had been a tabletop or standing lamp in the room. There was a very bright and very large overhead fixture (really only good for task lighting), and there were two wall sconce lamps, which could not be turned up to bright or they flickered. Shower was a bit dark and cramped.
