Absolutely wonderful hotel, didn’t want to leave. Such a charming property in an excellent location. Rooms are fairly big, could do with an upgrade but equally charming. Kept clean with everything you need. The location is what is fabulous about this hotel; right on the river with plenty of easy chairs to sit out round the fires and have smores on an evening whilst also being 5mins walking distance into town. My 3 and 5 year old didn’t want to leave. All the staff are really friendly and helpful.

Breakfast was v basic however we expected this and were fine with this. Big horn is right next door for a bigger breakfast if needed. As mentioned the rooms are a little outdated however this adds to the lodge type feel of the hotel

Location in the river and all the seating areas/firepits is so beautiful and peaceful. Loved that they provided s’more making ingredients every night to make by the firepits. That was a really nice unique personal touch and something to look forward to after a day of hiking.

The soundproofing between floors was not great. We heard our upstairs neighbor walking back and forth for a long time while we tried to go to sleep. Breakfast facilities and food was pretty basic. But they tried to make up for it with snacks to go.

Really friendly staff, very accommodating and were quick to resolve a small issue when we checked in. Rooms are a good size with nice bathrooms, a fridge and coffee machine. Really nice outdoor space with this hotel, and if you’re on the 2nd and 3rd floor - a cool balcony to sit on outside the rooms.

It feels a little dated in terms of the decor, but pretty cosy and not a big issue. Air conditioner was very loud one night when it rained.

Loved the location! Walking distance to Main Street area! Loved that they offered pet friendly rooms. The pet friendly rooms have tile/wood floors. Which you really appreciate if you’ve ever stayed somewhere that had carpet pet rooms. They had (working) fire pits out front with chairs around them . They offered supplies for s’mores in the evening. The fire pits are easy to use, they had timers. Breakfast was simple, but sufficient. We will definitely return!

Nothing, everything was great, however, I did recommend a bread knife to make it easier to slice the bagels ☺️

Everything! The location right on the river was exceptional. After a day of hiking, it was so nice to come back and sit by the river and relax with a beverage. We could also walk to many shops and restaurants. The room was clean and comfortable and the balcony overlooking the river was wonderful. The staff was incredibly nice as well.

I only disliked that I didn’t book it for longer.

Great location! Walking distance to main areas of Estes. Beautiful river goes through property. Lots of outdoor seating & fire pits . Free breakfast. Quiet. S’mores each night (although we didn’t partake due to our schedule).

Only light source were room double doors which were right off main area so we had to keep blinds closed. The shades need to be light blocking too.

Very clean and beautiful property. Walking distance to the Main Street shops of Estes Park. Enjoyed the hot tub and beautiful, quiet location of the property!

The only small complaint was that our AC/Heat unit was extremely loud. Every time it kicked on through the night it woke me up, but it was never on for long periods of time. The rooms are well insulated for having glass doors and it was a very comfortable stay overall.

Excellent location for downtown access and just a few short miles to entrance of Rocky Mountain National Park. Clean room and comfortable beds along with decor complete with western/mountain accent. More space in main room, bathroom, and closet than what you find with typical rooms. Balcony with view and hearing nearby mountain stream provided a relaxing atmosphere.

Overall, I enjoyed my stay at Hotel Silvermoon. The room was clean and comfortable, the bed was great, and the location was very convenient with easy parking. Everything felt simple and hassle-free. The staff was fine—nothing special, but polite.

The only real downside was the breakfast. It definitely didn’t meet expectations and should have some improvement.

Close to town. The river. The fire pits. The marshmallows to roast. Beds and pillows are super comfortable. Large rooms. The hot tub and waterfall. The complete breakfast. The quiet and peacefulness. It’s between 2 parks.

Too much furniture in the hot tub area. The throwing games created a lot of noise in the hot tub area. It was more peaceful last year. Also the corn hole games are loud. Remove these games and it would be perfect. They have room for two more hot tubs too.
