The retro feel of a down to earth staff that cared about its guests in relaxed setting. CML had an 80’s feel to it. Our cabin’s back window literally showed us a steep mountain side, as the site was in tune with Mother Nature.

Bathroom toilet needs updating and layout is cramped.

Our rustic cabin-like room was perfect. I was happy to see that in addition to the microwave and refrigerator, we had a small kitchen. The staff made cookies every afternoon and had coffee (also had coffee in our room) and tea available at all times. The large library was stocked exceptionally well with games and books. I'd love to return here on our next trip!

The room and property was very clean and beautiful. The lights driving in made the stay that more magical. Aaron was wonderful, very kind. He made sure we knew about the property and all the extra goodies like movies, and cinnamon rolls in the morning. We enjoyed the room and amenities. We will be back!

I loved everything but I would suggest new updated bed spreads and blankets.

Very well maintained property. Our “castle” was spacious and had everything we needed. It was wonderful to be able to take a long, scenic walk right out the door. And the cookies were a bonus. Nice, clean guest laundry facilities. They have daily cleaning service, but we didn’t need it. They were already generous with the towels. Full size coffee maker and coffee. Nice

A few things needed attention. The mattress was pretty much done for, and the bed squeaked loud enough to wake my husband when I got up early.

Stayed in Castle Glen. We loved the cosiness of the cabin and the kitchen. It's very quiet and we didn't hear neighbors at all despite it being a duplex. The wood burning fireplace and the extra blankets are luxurious. We liked exploring the property, there were elk, wild bunnies, robins, woodpeckers, pigeons and squirrels and there is a pathway on the grounds to Wapiti Pub right next door for great food and drinks. We hiked all day and then came to the cabin to light a fire, watch movies and listen to the river. There is also a guest book that we loved reading.

Couldn't ask for a better location or vibe. If you are a big group get the two bedroom or bigger because we were five adults and a little stuffed in but still really enjoyed everything.

Charming place to stay. Cool wooden cabin and so quiet. Joel the manager was a welcoming, informative and lovely man! Makes cookies too! We ate a lot of them! They offered so much here that we were surprised at what was being offered! Hot tub, a grill, fire pits, games, movies, puzzles, hiking equipment and so much more! We loved our stay here and we will be coming back when we hike this party of the rockies again. It felt sad to leave!

Great staff and comfy room with wonderful grounds and a great library/game room. Ice machine really helped stock up for hiking!

Kitchenette had weak electric burners one did not work. Electric outlets in room were so old that none of my plugs would fit in. Intermittent internet access both on 4G wireless and hotel wifi was worse than absent internet access. Remote work was frustrating.

The location was beautiful! Right at the mountains. All the staff were so nice and gave great recommendations for places to eat in town. The beds were comfortable and the little kitchenette was a nice added touch. They are pet friendly so it was fun seeing the dogs around. The dvd and game library was a nice option since we were there during snow hikes weren’t an option. They also have coffee and tea in the lobby. Sleds were available which made our son extremely happy.

The shower heads are a little short and don’t spray in one spot very well, but this is an easy fix if they use a shower head on a hose.

The lodge was located a short drive between town and the national park entrance. Rooms were cosy and had all the comforts we needed- comfy beds and a spacious shower! The hosts were so welcoming, it’s almost worth planning your trip to wake up there on a Sunday to enjoy the Cinnamon Rolls. I’ll be thinking of Wanda’s freshly baked cookies for a long time. Lovely lodge!

Great vibe- a rustic throwback feel with just enough modern conveniences. Excellent location on the Fall River, 3 miles from the entrance to RMNP, peaceful grounds, with beautiful flower boxes and local wildlife. Nice lending library with lots of games to borrow. Great fire pit by the river with free wood provided.

Nothing.
