The beds were so comfortable. I was pleasantly surprised that the third bed was in a private room. The kitchenette was perfect. I loved that the TV had streaming services instead of channels. Breakfast was great. Staff was awesome. The exterior is so quaint and pretty. We loved this little place.

The breakfast room was quite hot. And I would’ve liked more protein or fiber options at breakfast, but it was a typical hotel breakfast so that’s a cultural problem, not necessarily a problem with this motel. Our sink was also dripping a bit.

Great location, and most cost efficient place to stay in Glenwood Springs. Super comfy beds, very friendly and responsive staff.

Plumbing was older so faucets didn’t works super well, shower head was like 4 feet tall, toilet didn’t flush great. The AC unit in the bedroom wasn’t working great. Despite all this, the staff was so friendly, came to work on any issue we brought up including bringing us a new tv when we had issues. It’s just a bit dated, but nothing that was t expected for the least expensive place to stay with good ratings. I’d stay here again for sure!!! Just know the finishings are a little dated.

Breakfast was decent. Would like more protein options. A LOT of carbs, but your typical breakfast. Room was clean and spacious. It was nice having a room separate from our kids and their friends.

I don't like not having coffee in the room. When I went to the front to get coffee at 5 am, the doors were locked and the attendant was falling asleep. It was hard to get coffee. I wanted to sit in the lobby and let others in our party sleep but instead had to go back to the room. Not a huge deal, but not convenient. Would also like better toiletries. The soap wasn't good. I had brought my own just in case and I am glad I did.

The location was good and easy to find. Check-in was easy, the receptionist was efficient and friendly. The room was clean and spacious. Breakfast was good with plenty of variety on offer. Overall I would recommend the Silver Spruce Inn and would stay there again if I was in the area, perhaps in a different room though.

There was a lot of noise during the night - traffic, trains, helicopter, coyotes? Missed having a cup of tea in the room, having to walk down to reception for supplies was not convenient. Using styrofoam cups at breakfast generates a lot of waste and is not environmentally friendly.

staff was very friendly and accommodating, our room was ready about an hour early, attention to details in terms of decorating for fall. very pleasant. Glad to see two trees with table and chairs underneath them for which we can sit and enjoy. breakfast had a lot to choose from and it was well stocked and in good condition. tables had cute little centerpieces on them. ice machines work something we didn't have at the last two places we stayed at. location was within walking distance to many amenities.

at times we weren't always able to park right in front of our room because there weren't always enough parking places, but that was a small inconvenience compared to everything else. tiny little black bugs would be around the outside light. so when you opened your door to go in at night they would fly in and you'd see them in the room but they were very tiny.

This is a great location for those who are interested in going to the adventure park. It also has reasonable access by road to other attractions in Glenwood Springs. It is less than a ten minute walk from the hot springs and less than fifteen from the downtown area. The rooms are clean and comfortable. There are some signs of deferred maintenance with cosmetic things like the furniture, but the things that really matter, like mattresses and bathrooms, were right up to date. Very helpful staff. And, given the way lodging rates have been soaring lately and the peak season we were in, the rates were reasonable.

Location: Perfect location, you could easily go walking to many touristic activities! Room: Very clean. There is also a convenient laundry room, ask your receptionist to help you locate it. Breakfast: Personally, I enjoyed the breakfast. However, I would like to mention that before booking my room, I read many negative comments about the breakfast options. So, I'll just say this: if you're expecting to have a rib eye or pasta with salmon for breakfast, then I would recommend finding your own breakfast outside the hotel. Reception: Very friendly and helpful staff available 24/7. Parking lot: Everything good, I must say we didn't have our stay on busy holiday dates so we didn't have any problem. We had a fantastic stay at the hotel, it was our first time visiting and we enjoyed our time there. Thank you to all the staff, everyone was very kind.

Our King Suite was large, with attractive, comfortable furniture. The refrigerator, microwave, and coffee pot were a nice touch. The room could have used more illumination, however, between the bed and the sink area. Just one floor lamp near the easy chair would have made all the difference. Likewise, it would be great if the owners could supply a powerstrip or other fix to address the number of accessible electric outlets. My husband and I between the 2 of us have 4 devices and it was hard to charge them all at once. The breakfast area was attractive with many choices, but as is common with hotel breakfasts it was hard to avoid sugar. A nondairy and/or lowfat milk would have been welcome.

While many attractions are nearby, the neighborhood isn't very walkable, especially if one wants to walk back from downtown at night - too many high traffic crossings.

The quality for the price was good. Very clean and comfortable. Plenty of space. They had a small table and two chairs instead of a desk, which I like. There were flowers blooming everywhere, which I really appreciate. The accent tile in the shower had some glass and brushed metal which the photo doesn't do justice to. Low lighting makes it look yellow.

The breakfast choices were good. Better than the typical pre-packaged pastries, Continental breakfast, but not a lot that is safe for a celiac like myself. That is not unusual though. Yogurt, fruit and hard boiled eggs.

Breakfast was nice with a good variety of food. Although the dining area was crowded each day, there are plenty of tables & chairs so seating was no problem.

Having a refrigerated or frozen breakfast sandwich, burritos, sausage/egg/muffin, or similar would be very nice. The only hot items were to make your own waffles or instant oatmeal and the above mentioned items would be a welcome addition.
