The location of the hotel is right off I-70 in Grand Junction. The location was excellent for our needs. There is a brand new shopping center about a mile down the road. It's full of restaurants and stores. The staff at Red Roof Inn are really friendly and helpful. The room was large and spacious. I like that the door opens to the parking lot and not the interior of a hotel. They also allowed us to bring our dog and we weren't charged an extra fee for her. There is a mexican restaurant attached to the hotel, so it's convenient to get lunch or dinner. The room is definitely worth the price they charge.

The one complaint I have is that the bathroom is so tiny. It would also be nice if they had extra blankets in the room without having to bother the staff to get one. Otherwise the hotel met my expectations and then some.

Staff very friendly and eager to assist. Room was very large and everything was clean and in good repair. Parking was available in front of my ground floor room making loading and unloading easy and quick. Access points to the lobby were conveniently located all around the hotel.. Base ray heating worked well and appreciated not having to listen to a fan blowing all night. The in-house Mexican restaurant was very convenient and the food was very good. Appreciated not having to leave the facility for dinner. I will stay here again when I return home.

Bathroom vanity was very small making it a hassle to use things at the sink. Bathroom was also very small. Couldn't lay the bath mat out horizontally in front of the tub, for example. Wish they would have served a continental breakfast. Coffee service was warm, not hot.

There was no carpeting which is much cleaner. The room was large, had a small refrigerator and microwave.

The satellite tv went out several times which was annoying. The light over the sink was out and took more than a week before someone fixed it. There was no laundry for the guests to wash their own clothes. The ice machine was broken.

The front desk is exception, very accommodating and friendly. The only thing I noticed was that the website advertises a great breakfast and twice I've been there within the past month and they said no, they do not do any sort of breakfast, just coffee. Which didn't make any difference to my friend or I since I brought muffins with me this time (because I knew they didn't do any sort of breakfast) for our coffee and breakfast. But I would update the website advertising the non existent breakfast. The room was clean, adequate size (two full beds, fridge, microwave, coffee machine. TV was fine, location great and easy to find.

the bathroom is very small. you have to go inside before you could close the door since there was little space between the door and toilet, like maybe an inch max.

The rooms looked cleaned and smelled nice the appliances worked like they shoud. It was right off of the main street.

Thrash cans outside were overfilled with trash they just kept pilling on and attracted flys and bees. The sign could be brighter i checked in at night and had trouble spotting it.⁹

I loved that there was a restaurant and bar at the location, it made for a very convenient stay. Not much for breakfast; however, that was the norm at most of the places we stayed.

I was very disappointed that our friends were upstairs and us down stairs. I book long enough in advance that it should have been blocked off. For that reason I did not rate it as excellent.

We liked the price because it was college graduation weekend and although it might have been priced higher than other times it was less expensive than other options. The staff was very friendly. Another selling point is the 24/7 coffeee service.

The exterior needed some upgrades and perhaps cleaning.

I just went at a completely booked weekend so they ran out of towels. I was fine.

excellent all around. Stayed here on a Saturday night and was inexpensive but the room was very clean, modern. We have stayed in about 50 hotels across the USA in the past 15 months (including very nice/expensive and cheap hotels) and this was in the top 15, though probably even higher when you take the cost/value of it. Staff was very friendly. Mexican restaurant connected to the Red Roof was excellent - we got quesadillas and chips. Plus we scour the USA for the best Mexican food and this was in the top 10%.

Very clean, comfortable and very affordable I was driving cross country from LA to NY and this was one of the nicest hotels ans one of the cheapest.

You require a car to do just about anything and everything is very spaced out which can be both good and bad. Good when you want your space and peace and quiet but bad when you just want to run to the store real quick and everything is closed and the only thing open is a bit of distance away so make sure you get everything done early. Besides that everything was awesome.
