I highly recommend the North Face Lodge if you are going to Lake City! When I arrived, the owner was very welcoming and chatted with me for a few minutes about my trip. The facilities were very comfortable and clean - nice sitting area, table, fridge, kitchenette, comfy bed, etc. When I was packing up my car to leave, the owner came over to say goodbye. Such a great experience overall. No complaints!

Greeted by the owner upon arrival - very friendly and offered us a welcome drink after our long drive which was much appreciated. The room was large and clean. Themed tastefully to the surrounding area. Took a great shower and the bed was very comfortable. Really enjoyed the stay. Two local spots - Climb Elevated Eatery for dinner and Breakfast Hangout in the AM were both right around the corner and delicious. Would stay again if we are in the area.

Co-owner and Manager Robin was great -- her availability and willingness to answer questions and provide information was greatly appreciated. We are a retired couple who had our 3 grandchildren with us and we were very pleased with our accommodations at the North Face Lodge. Highly recommend it. ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐G

We liked everything!

We knew we would be getting into town early, and the lovely owners made sure our room was clean for our early arrival. In addition to that, I'm extremely allergic to animals and they had a gorgeous pet free room for us!!! The bed was the most comfortable bed we've experienced in all our years of travel. The room ( Pinecone themed) was so tasteful and lovely! Most hotels boast of cleanliness now a days, but The North Face Lodge was truly spic and span. The kitchenette was well stocked, and the bathroom spotless. The communal deck was glorious! Clean and ready for happy hour! The view was to die for! We will certainly be returning. 😊

The only issues I had was when I was checking their address on their website, I saw Booking.com charged us @ $100.00 more than if we booked through North Face. I will never use booking.com again.

The rooms were very nice, and each had a different theme. The beds were very comfortable and the room was amazing. The owners were awesome and shared a wealth of information about Lake City, the best places to eat, and things to do. We will definitely stay at The North Face Lodge if and when we go back to Lake City.

There was nothing that I didn’t like about this lodge

This was a super fun week in Lake City. We enjoyed the individually owned property and attention. The fresh blooming flowers were a nice touch on the balcony.

I grabbed this room as the last available in town and my expectations were "medium". When I got there the exterior exuded a well kept place with an outdoorsy "cabin" atmosphere. Robin greeted me when I checked in and answered all my questions. When I went into the room "Ski Lodge" - WOW! beautifully furnished and with a new bathroom with marble and tile, I was amazed! I immediately went outside and complemented Robin on the room and she remarked that they couldn't do much with the outside, but they spent a lot of time and money on the insides of all the rooms. It really showed. My room was excellent with kitchen (all the pots/pans etc) a sitting area, access to huge common patio with fire-pit (standing) chairs and a wonderful bathroom. the bed was EXTREMELY comfortable with lots of pillows (the way I like). The room had a variety of lighting, a kitchen table and two very comfortable chairs to relax and read in. I'll be back!

Small quaint property. Each room has a different theme. The room was spacious and comfortable. The deck was wonderful for gathering and relaxing after a day of Jeeping.

When it is hot they did not have a/c. But they did have fans.

The owner greeted us as we arrived. Was helpful in answering our questions and even provided coal (there was a propane grill too), lighter fluid, and Seasonings for our dinner that night. Beds were comfy. And, although the establishment has no a/c, the night (in mid-July) cooled down quickly and the provided fan was more than sufficient.
