Super location just a 10 minute walk into downtown Manitou Springs. The room was huge and updated. We had a comfy bed, amazing pillows, a nice shower with a retro motel sink counter area. There was a couch and a desk with a chair. Also a minifridge and a TV but we didn't use those. Everything was clean. The owner was super friendly. We chatted with him each morning at the included continental breakfast. Just a few minutes from the free shuttle into town or to Pike's Peak. Easy to drive to Garden of the Gods or Colorado Springs as well.

I'm trying to think of something negative. I can't think of much. It's an older motel that's been well maintained and updated. You do still hear noise from the road. So if you are a light sleeper bring ear plugs.

Location was close to Garden of the gods and a area where traffics was not crazy. You can see Pikes Peak from outside your door. Parking the car right by our motel door was convent . I love motels with a first level like this one . ROOM VERY CLEAN . 5 minute walk to FREE shuttle that will take you to PIKES PEAK COG-RAIL. If you drive you will pay $20 to park your car at the cog rail parking lot. The office guy who may have been the owner told me that and was very hospitable and friendly. He was a COOL GUY and would explain everything. They should consider a Waffle maker in the future to add to the breakfast. P.S. My wife and I are 70 years old on Social Security and we do not look for big fancy places to stay . We love [ CLEAN ] places that our car is right outside of our door because I’m always forgetting things in the car. Nothing worse than walking down a long hall way , taking the elevator down , finding the car , then having to key yourself back into the building and doing everything in reverse. Then most of the time I forget another thing and it starts all over again.

I wish motel had a larger SMART TELEVISION with apps so I could watch my SLING TV with all the programs I always DVR because I HATE WATCHING COMMERCIALS! That would be a BIG PLUS for this motel . Maybe management will invest in that soon.

Close to everything. Clean. Manager was extremely helpful, nice, & available. Beds were comfortable & pillows were memory foam I think. Bedding was nice & updated. Mini Fridge & microwave in room. Coffee maker. Sufficient travel size toiletries. Free parking. Kind of updated. The continental breakfast included hard boiled eggs, yogurt, fresh fruit, cereals, good oj, decent brewed coffee, & the typical breads

Old - could use a scrape & rebuild. Towel bar fell off wall. No hooks in bathroom. Toilet was with shower in one room & sink in another- kind of disgusting to have to go out & around a wall to wash your hands. Minimal TV channels & they didn’t match the guide

Room was super clean and smelled great! The owner/manager was terrific and very accommodating to our needs. Although we didn't partake, the continental breakfast seemed adequate. Bedding and pillows were comfortable and the room was quite large. Good sized fridge in the room and the shower water pressure was very strong. Very good value for Manitou Springs and a 10-15 minute walk to the center of Manitou Springs propper.

Although very clean, the room is a bit dated and will need a refresh shortly. All rooms face the main street and can be a bit noisy if you're sensitive to that... we found that after 11pm it was pretty quiet, considering.

Very clean and well kept. This is a basic motel that has great beds, new carpet, fresh paint, and an updated bathroom. This was a great value. We could see Pikes Peak from the parking lot. The motel is conveniently located to Pikes Peak, Garden of the Gods, and Manitou Springs. The owner was proud of his property and friendly.

The property was 0.6 miles from the downtown area. We chose to drive in for dinner and lunch. We could have walked to downtown, though.

The hotel was within walking distance to the shops in monitau. But not so close as to being disturbed by other tourists visiting the area, which saved us money on parking ($4.00 per hour). The hotel has been recently remodeled. It had older furniture,but it had new carpet, paint, ect, and very clean.The bed and pillows were very comfortable. We also liked that they didn't come to clean the room unless asked to do so. The owners were genuinely concerned about our comfort, and when we would see them,(frequently) they would ask if we needed anything. If we did need anything like towels, toilet paper, sheets They would quickly provide them. They valued our privacy. My wife and I have stayed at many hotels from 5 stars to unexpected dives. This place was one of the best. Thanks, Eagle Motel, for the experience.

At first, I didn't care for having to go outside to the office to get coffee and breakfast. However, I found it to be quick and convenient.

This small family run motel was perfect for us. It just looks like a basic motel from the outside, but don't let that fool you - inside was clean, the memory foam beds were very comfortable, and we had all the amenities we needed. It was close enough to easily walk into the heart of town for a fun evening, without being too loud or busy. Best of all, when I accidentally left a small item in the room, the customer service was outstanding. Would absolutely return and stay again. Thank you!

Friendly owner, fantastic location close to town and no noise issues. Room was a little outdated but spacious, had fridge and microwave, everything was very clean and well maintained. Beds were comfortable, bathroom clean and good shower. There was even breakfast with decent options.

Our only complaint: Styrofoam cups and bowls at breakfast – we wish there had been recycable options instead.

Friendly ownership. Location was close to but quiet from downtown Manitou Springs. It's a modest place. No need to pack pompousness for this stay. There was a simple breakfast each morning. The rooms are clean. My wife said so. Otherwise, I wouldn't know. For me, the bed was a little hard. My wife and son didn't mind a bit. It's a great value. We'll be back!

The beds were great! Love being able to park a few feet from our door for loading and unloading. We had two comfortable chairs and a table for eating, etc .. The continental breakfast had a nice variety and a tray was provided in our room for carrying it back to the room. The bathroom has been updated since we were here three years ago. It had a good price for the area.

The door was a little leaky, which would be more of a problem in cold weather.
