The room was spacious with a refrigerator and a microwave. It is conveniently located near the Old Colorado City shopping area. There are many shops and restaurants in walking distance of the hotel. We were greeted with a snack bag for each of us, and this came in very handy late at night!

There was no in room coffee maker, my husband's biggest gripe. The first morning, he drove to pick up coffee. When the office opened at 7, there was free coffee available. I asked the manager if the pool was open, and he said "yes," but there was some kind of cover over it. It looked to be a nice indoor poo. We would have like to have used it.

The man and woman at check-in were super nice. The room was clean, the bed was comfortable and the water pressure in the shower was awesome. I had a view of Pike’s Peak from the room, the air conditioner worked great and checkout was easy. The location is across from a restaurant and only 5-10 minute drive to coffee shops, shopping, and where you can park to get to Pike’s Peak and the Manitou Incline. Also quick (I think it was 10-12 mins) drive to Garden of the Gods.

The location feels a little sketchy. I felt safe, but it feels like drug deals may happen nearby.

The room! It was so much nicer in person. The second I walked in to the office. A woman gave us goodie bags with snacks. And healthy snacks at that! She was the sweetest person ever! And when I needed to print something out and everything was closed she helped me out! They go above and beyond here to make sure your stay is easy. Our room had a great view of the mountains. Every morning I would open the actual window and have that fresh mountain breeze. Best motel ever. Will come here every time. And only here! They have a designated smoking area and a really cute veggie garden. It really is quaint and we enjoyed ourselves. Beds are firm and the room stayed nice and cool!

Steve and his wife were so sweet and accommodated us as needed. The room was clean, smelled clean, and was presentable when we arrived. We really liked having hard flooring rather than carpet, as it just felt more clean. They even provided us with a snack bag for each of us. It was also close to most things that we were doing in the area and was ready to book online.

We have no complaints.

VERY FRIENDLY owners. I was greeted with a nice bag filled with snacks and water. The owner had to come to my room a couple of times to fix the Cable and frig. Extremely clean. Bottom line - it was a great price and the owners were so nice to deal with.

On the "not so good" side - The pillows were so flimsy and missing the filling that I had to fold them over to prop my head up. No coffee pot. Bring your ear plugs - and don't sleep with the window open. The hotel is on the main drag. Yes, it was Saturday night filled with cars speeding down the block, police sirens, trains and planes. If you are a light sleeper, I would look else where.

The lovely couple that own and operate this lovely little inn could not have been more accommodating. My wife and I arrived in Colorado Springs several hour before check-in and we were exhausted. They allowed us to check in early, and we were able to rest. They were pleasant, and always asked if we needed anything during our two day stay. When we arrived, they provided both my wife and I with a small 'goody bag', with fruit, energy bars and cookies. Our room was immaculate, and even smelled clean. The laundry was near our room, and I could see that they wash everything - including the curtains and the bed spread. Not only do I feel we received good value for our money, our room rate was very reasonable. I have stayed at a number of properties where I had paid considerably more, and received considerably less. The location in OCC was perfect. Very close to Pike's Peak, Garden of the Gods, and lots of great restaurants and pubs within a few blocks. For a 'small-owned' motel, this property definitely exceeded my expectations. I would stay here again without hesitation.

Room was a bit on the small side,and the bathtub/shower had two separate knobs for hot/cold. It took a bit of adjustment to get the right mix of hot and cold water.

Fabulous location to all things related to the Garden of the Gods, Manitou Springs and Pikes Peak. While the motel is seated along a very busy thoroughfare, the noise pollution is not bad during the night.

We stayed in the Family Suite which resembled a one bedroom cottage but on check in it wasn’t quite ready. The owner was finishing up the ozonator (removes smells??) and the ac had been off for some time. The poor window AC unit in the main living space had a very difficult time cooling the room down. There is an indoor pool on the property but the water was frigid.

Exceptional old school motel with modern rooms. Neat, clean and comfortable. The location is great for what we needed. The owner checked us in, made sure we were completely comfortable and was so nice to talk with. At check-in, we each received a welcome bag with water, fresh fruit (apple and banana), healthy snacks and a sweet treat for later. I love the area and will definitely come back to this motel if the opportunity arises. Old Colorado City is a great place to get out and walk, dine and have fun. The location of the motel makes it possible to really enjoy your outing without having to get in a car.

We very much enjoyed our stay, the room was clean and comfortable. Kids loved the snack bags provided at check-in and the pool, even though it was a tad chilly on a rainy afternoon. Staff was friendly and very attentive when we had questions or needed to be in the office area for things like ice and the pool key.

Our only complaints was the amount of light seeping in at night from the window and door but we fixed what we could with a towel and hair clip and for us personally the pillows were a bit to flat but thats on us for not taking our own.

A rare gem. For a Motel in this price range it is indeed a bargain. Room was basic as you would expect in this class, but was very clean and comfortable. My room had recently been renovated and most things were new. Great water pressure. I was traveling by motorcycle and the Staff was welcoming, beyond courteous, and accommodating. Upon check-in, I was given a giftbag with a fair amount of snacks, including fresh fruit.

The room was a little on the small side, but it wasn't an issue at all. I would certainly stay there again.
