This pet friendly hotel is centrally located in the Vail village just steps away from the main gondola, all the restaurants and shopping. We really enjoyed the hot tub and heated pool accessible to us directly from our room. The hotel was fully renovated, the rooms are spacious, well equipped and super clean. There is a good size ski storage area right by hotels entrance. The hotel does have an underground car garage. The breakfast served by the reception area had a nice variety - good option prior to hitting the slopes. What makes this property really special is the people working at this hotel. Everyone was very nice, accommodating and polite. I would definitely stay again at the hotel during our next ski trip.

Location was great, room was nice size, facilities such as pool and gym were good, nice touch with fresh cookies.. Very well maintained - saw touch up painting in progress to prove it.

The breakfast offer was very modest - no toast, no eggs. No bar. Lobby area not conducive to social gatherings but there was plenty of social life nearby.

The Sitzmark Vail offers a great breakfast and is centrally located, making it easy to navigate around the area. The rooms are comfortable, featuring cozy fireplaces that add a perfect touch to the stay. Preferred parking is convenient, and the overall parking experience is excellent. A fantastic option for those seeking comfort, convenience, and great amenities in the heart of Vail.

The location makes everything accessible. Close to ski lifts, restaurants and a bridge across the river is directly behind the property. It’s a 3-4 minute walk from the public parking lot (parking is a pain in vail.

It’s Libby was totally under construction when we visited October 2023. The hotel is being renovated (it is a bit dated and needs the facelift it is getting. There was no indication there would be construction so if the website doesn’t show newly renovated rooms they are probably still working and you will see “pardon our dust” signs everywhere.

Was a small bummer was that they happened to be doing maintenance on the hot tub the morning we left, so we could not enjoy the hot tub even though we had late checkout. Just got unlucky with that one. Breakfast was ok but not a lot of fresh food options or protein. If it had been winter it wouldn’t have been enough to sustain me skiing.

First and foremost, the staff were terrific to work with. Everyone was kind and patient. The room itself suited my family's needs, and the pool area was fantastic! The sleeper sofa was surprisingly comfortable as well.

My only complaint is that our room was on the first level close to the elevators, so outside noise became a problem. Fellow guests responded to our complaints appropriately, and we could sleep then.

First, the staff (especially the front desk staff) were very friendly and welcoming. Next, the hotel has been completely remodeled (much needed) and it is beautiful! Our room had a sweet little balcony that overlooked the creek and the sound from the water was beautiful and calming. Wildly convenient location, near everything we like to take in while there.

What didn't I/we like? That we had to leave!

We've always loved the Sitzmark. The location is spectacular and with the new remodel it's even more desirable. The new rooms are very nice, spacious, and balcony/mountain views are prime.

We were in room 201 and it was a busy day at the property. Young kids were running up and down the halls, yelling, opening and closing the access door to the pool. We will likely avoid this room # in the future.

Amazing location right in the middle of Vail Village. Being able to walk out the door and wander around was lovely. Had some parking available, but even the public garage wasn’t far. The breakfast was a nice touch with great Denver burritos. Clean, large rooms with shared balconies. The staff were all very friendly and helpful. We loved our creek view!

The only complaint is the noise. It’s an older hotel, with no AC, which means no fan or system to help muffle the noise. It was definitely tricky for a weekend with many stumbling in late. Unfortunately, I don’t see a fix other than possibly adding door curtains, similar to cruise ships. At least a layer of heavy fabric would dull the sound. Also good to note the shared balcony, as our neighbor walked out and came to look in our room. Caught us off guard but once we realized, we just kept the curtain closed and door locked.

The location is perfect, the rooms were updated and very spacious. The beds were cozy and the room clean. Having a pool and hot tub was a must for our family and we were pleased with the Sitzmarks amenities. I would highly recommend the Sitzmark and hope to stay again! I’ll be looking for deals though!

I thought it was really expensive, but comparable to other properties in town. Just the price for Vail I guess.
