Good & safe location, close to downtown Deland shops. Room was nice, on the small side, ok for single or 2 people, but no more. Bed was comfortable. Plenty of towels. Coffee available in room & refrigerator. Room was clean. Noise level was good. You could hear a little noise from another room, but really not conversations. Black out curtains nice. Didn't really hear any noise from parking lot area. Did not use pool, so can't comment. Nice lobby. The desk staff was very friendly and helpful. Culver's is located next to hotel, so good for quick bite.

Breakfast. I had the oatmeal, which was in something keeping it warm, but it was cold. I'm not a fan of strong coffee, but took a cup at the self-serve coffee bar. The coffee was like dish water, it was so weak, so I had juice. The buffet had waffles, eggs, sausage - the usual, but did not partake after I sampled the oatmeal.

The breakfast was excellent. The staff was very helpful and knowledgeable.

Chair height toilets would have been nice. I asked for a handicap room but the only two of those in the whole hotel had already been reserved by someone else. There was a sign in the room that said the refreshments would be replenished every day of our stay but it didn't happen. The staff at the front desk did give us complimentary refreshments due to that problem.

I loved everything about the place it was really nearly nice the staff was exceptional and accommodating

The breakfast sausage patty that look like it was not cooked and the lady told me it was chicken not sausage it was disgusting and the eggs were not good at all the omelets were terrible everything else about the hotel was wonderful the coffee without 24/7 and it was always delicious and fresh but the breakfast was not good at all

Easy parking. Felt safe. Friendly staff. Friendly hotel guests. Quiet rooms. Clean rooms. Very good A/C system. Coffee always available. It was near a cheap, good gas station. There were places to eat nearby. Also, some shopping if need to get things. It was on the highway, but it isn't a busy, congested road so quiet area. Great since we needed to drive farther and this was a good stop in between. Was perfect and very helpful on our travels.

No complaints really. The front door mat had a center crease that was slightly raised and I thought it could be a trip hazard. The walls could use a little more sound insulation. Could hear closet opening from next door. But everything was wonderful. The survey just wants me to answer this question.

My hubby and I chose Hampton inn great location in deland due to we both don't drive.So being close to places to shop,eat ,and take transit bus service votran bus was important .it's just nice to have a nice clean hotel and friendly atmosphere is always nice. Rooms were cleaned always got trash out and towels every morning was a plus

The breakfast. Issues I have dairy issues and the milk wasn't lactose free milk For future add dairy free milk for guest with dairy issues. The meats The sausage taste to porky The bacon to greasy but good The eggs western omelets had cheese so I couldn't eat them and they looked good. The milk please for the future add lactose free for guest who can't have dairy products The juices were ok only issues is I can't do orange juice and cranberry juice was om Future please add fruit punch or something.

The property is conveniently located and easy to access.

My only issue is that I felt that the mattress was not as comfortable as usual. I’ve stayed before and felt like the beds were more comfortable than this stay.

Location is near shopping, restaurants, coffee, fast food, and drug and grocery stores . Quiet hotel location. Nice breakfast & friendly staff.

I ever use this hotel occasionally over several years, and it’s beginning to show it’s wear… Needs to be refreshed. Mattress was very hard.

Breakfast was great and texture and freshness appeared and tasted like it was just prepared, not as if under a warmer for a long time. The location for me was great near shopping centers, restaurants and minutes from downtown.

Everything was great! The staff, the room, the fitness center, and the hotel were great. The parking area was well-lit and appeared to be safe.

The front office staff were friendly and helpful. The rooms were clean and welcoming.

It was very inconvenient with a completely booked hotel (due to students arriving to Stetson and racing at Daytona Beach) that there was only 1 elevator in operation. Wait times were extraordinarily long and was quite annoying.

Staff is what makes this hotel the gem in Deland. Breakfast is always good. Guests are always friendly. Hotel is quiet! And someone is always shining the place up! Thank you all!!!!

Nothing except, I saw a hotel worker filling up their water bottle that they just drank out of from the OJ dispensary by sticking the tip into the water bottle. Covid has made us all more aware. I suggested they get a cup for sanitary purposes. A guest thanked me.
