I think the place has a ton to offer. If I had done literally 10 minutes more of thoughtful prep, it would have been a perfect stay. I forgot my fishing pole, I didn't pack Splenda, I forgot to bring bottled water, forgot my Bluetooth speaker... stupid stuff. Staff was excellent. Room was clean and felt safe even though it opened to the outside. I'll definitely stay there again.

Had to ask for ice. No guest accessible machine. No restaurant/ bar on site, but staff said the local authorities were holding things up with bureaucracy.

this was really great all around, peaceful, clean, quiet with great staff. we ended up staying an extra night. this is a real hidden gem, there's a noise curfew after 11 so it gets to stay quiet and in nature thankfully. you'll probably see some rare birds while you're here as well. we saw a few wild turkeys and sandhill cranes

no complaints about the property. just a heads up though it's a 15 minute or so drive to get to a few food spots there's not much nearby and that's a great thing.

The location on the lake is a very peaceful scene, all of the homes on the road to Hontoon are gorgeous. The outdoor pool was in wonderful shape, the rooms were modern and clean and the front office staff were kind and helpful. I ended up leaving something in the room and they actually called me before I knew it was missing.

Our room was clean and roomy. We stayed in a studio and had a separate bedroom area. We loved the location on the river. The staff were friendly and helpful. The neighborhood was quiet and felt safe for my walks.

We had guests for one night above us and they had heavy walking feet. The bed was not the most comfortable and pillows were flat. Needed one more chair in our room to seat 4. Would have liked a bench on the dock for sitting while fishing

The room was clean. Housekeeping kept our room very clean, clean towels everyday, and just overall it was clean. The seating outdoors was a nice spot to sit an relax. I will be staying here again on our next trip.

Went to Hontoon for total relaxation. First we were checked in by a kind woman who made the process easy. I asked questions about the area and she gave great suggestions. Our room was lovely and meticulously clean. The grounds were beautiful and tranquil which we could see out of every window. A gorgeous bottle brush tree right in front of our chairs and beautiful birds walking around.Perfect view of the river. We felt relaxed within the first hour. I will definitely be back and told my friends who want to go as well. Our checkout lady and manager were all very nice as well.

Another couple in our building were constantly smoking on the patio, and left cigarettes, lighters and ashtray on the table closest to the river to “mark their territory.” This made it hard to enjoy the beautiful outside space. Very disappointing!

I notified was bringing truck and jetski trailer for parking .when checked in they tell me there’s a 10.50 charge to park. My trailer at the hotel or would get towed .they should be upfront with you about it .

Very nice room with river view. Tables/benches outside. Well maintained property. REAL coffee pot in room. Better than average refridgerator in room. Very close to Hontoon State Park.

Unheated pool. Not a resort. But the resort fee is minimal. No microwave in room.

Exceptionally clean. Plenty of parking, even for trailers. Staff was awesome. Very friendly

Distance to highway. 30 min. But not their fault. I knew that when I booked.
