The breakfast was good fresh, and being able to eat facing the ocean was an awesome experience. I enjoyed my interactions with the vast majority of the staff. From the concierge to the bell men to the valet and front desk service, everyone was polite and attentive. The beach front dining experience was also amazing, and the work done to accommodate us was on short notice was greatly appreciated. It made for a very memorable anniversary experience.

There was a large wedding that happened to be occurring at the same time we were there. It seemed that it taxed the staff a bit to handle such a large party and also other guests. It wasn't obvious in the way that the staff conducted themselves overall, but you could feel a bit of the wedding pressure.

Firstly, I must commend the exceptional beach view room that instantly transported me to a state of relaxation and allowed me to connect with the mesmerizing beauty of the Mexican Gulf. The friendly, professional, and well-trained Front of House team also contributed positively to my stay, providing a warm and welcoming atmosphere. On a positive note, the yoga sessions on the green in front of the beach were delightful and added value to my stay. The breathtaking sunset view was a highlight, although I found it necessary to secure a booking for the best seat in advance.

Despite the hefty cost of the accommodation, I was surprised that breakfast was not included in the package and neither were the bottle of water in the room. Compared to other world-class hotels, I reckon this should be complementary. Additionally, I found the breakfast menu to be average, with limited options and notably high prices for simple items such as a decent pan au chocolate. I felt there was room for an exceptional continental buffet. Furthermore, the price of wine was unexpectedly high for what was offered, and while the food was decent, the ceviche was overly sour for my taste. I also feel that the high cost of certain food and drink items was not reflective of the quality.

Excellent Service. We are always treated very nicely and our needs are always taken care of. The staff is amazing. Diane, the concierge was great. Cornell and Michael at the valet services were fantastic. That is why we always return to La Playa when we visit Naples.

The reconstruction process following Hurricane Ian has limited the facilities available at the resort. For example only 1 elevator was operational, This should get better as the reconstruction gets completed. Also, the tub in our bathroom was difficult to get in and out of. The suite we had was beautiful, it could have used an extra bathroom.

I thought for the price some complimentary bottled water (as a bare minimum) would have been nice to have in the room. I didn’t love how everything in the room had a price on it, and it just felt a little chintzy for the price point of the room.

The service was wonderful. We had Bella as our server each day and she was a delight. The location and beach access is tough to beat. Our dinner at Baleen was terrific. They said they were booked out a week on reservations, but managed to fit us in for dinner.

The beach house is still under light construction, but the crews only worked during reasonable day time hours and were not in the way.

Breakfast was wonderful! The staff was very friendly, view was great from outside, and food was very good.

The only issue we had was the elevator when we arrived. There was a problem with having only one working elevator and it was taking very long to get between floors. Our concerns were handled immediately and in a very professional and friendly manner.

Been going to LaPlay for nearly 20 years. Disappointed the factory was not fully operational though. Only one pool was open and it was very dirty almost as if it had not been vacuumed for a week or so. Fire pits were not operational.

Only one elevator was operational and extremely hot inside of it. No fitness facility available n

As per the hotel description in booking.com a breakfast was available at 32 dollars per person ,however once there it wasn’t like that,the breakfast was a la carte,very expensive and no many options. I had to call twice to the front desk to request a fitting shit for the sleeper sofa since we didn’t have one.

Beautiful location facing the Gulf. Bed comfortable; all amenities present.

Bathroom was dated-toilet wedged between vanity and shower, small tub, shower fixtures head only with no hand held. For the cost, the bathroom should have been much nicer.

The beach and having chairs and umbrella was a great bonus. The staff was very friendly, helpful and kind. Especially, Vinny at the beach bar.

Not having the option for self parking and having to pay per day. That should have been included in the price of the stay.
