We have been coming to Fort Lauderdale for many decades, but the condo we stayed at was owned by my parents was recently sold. We needed to find a new home away from home, Isle of Venice was our first attempt and thankfully a successful one. The Owner Ilan is an artist and has been busy updating the entire premises inside and out. Ilan stopped by a few times and chatted with us, which was nice. The grounds are well maintained and his art is apparent throughout the property. Quirky for sure with a tiki-island vibe; the neon lighting surrounding surfboards, palm trees and vehicles lends itself to a pretty unique relaxed environment. There is no office check-in; however, Margret was there to greet us and she was very nice and helpful in explaining how we enter our room and showing us around. She was attentive and checked on us each day to make sure any of our needs were met. There are several employees making sure things are kept in working order; pool and grounds workers are there often to keep everything tidy. The rooms are large; each different from the other, checking online photos will help you make a decision on which one suits your needs. Some rooms have balconies with a view of the waterway where yachts are docked and others have a view of the garden. The place is clean, with a comfortable bed, great water pressure in the shower and they provide many things for your convenience, beach chairs, wheeling cooler and a community area where there is sunblock, moisturizer, bug spray, etc. The price is very fair for the area being about a mile from the beach and a couple of blocks away from the Las Olas restaurants and shops . The pool is heated, clean and has some interesting tiki stone statues and palm trees to add to the island atmosphere.

No cons.

Loved how spacious the apartment was. Full kitchen facilities. Lovely pool. Great air conditioning. Use of a communal washing machine and dryer was fantastic.

That it took 5 minutes to get hot water in the shower each day. That we didn’t have instructions on how to get into the property prior to arriving. Only received them as we got there but as it was by text we couldn’t access the message without wifi.

The location was amazing, as first time visitors in Fort Lauderdale, great feeling and vibe, the pool and the location were breathtaking. The flat was well equipped, had everything somebody would need and made us felt just like home, in paradise. We had an amazing stay, all the infos well provided, and facilitated our quick checkin/ checkout- very optimised and easy. Very enjoyable, cozy, relaxing accommodation with quick access to everything.

This place could not have been more perfect. It’s even better than it looks on the photos and the staff went above and beyond to make our trip as amazing as possible. The pool area is so nice and secluded and the apartments are spotless and have everything you could need. A complimentary bottle of wine upon arrival, a booklet with all the local attractions, restaurants and bars etc was left on the table for us. We had high expectations from all the great reviews we read but it was even better than we could’ve expected. I cannot recommend this place enough and I urge anyone debating it to go for it.

There’s wasn’t anything we didn’t like about the property.

The lady who owns this place. She was discreet, yet always available and enquiring if we needed anything, if everything was fine etc...when she would see us. The cleanliness: it was impeccable Everything included: good Starbucks coffee, plenty of towels, replacement if needed, everything to cook, utensils, dishes, dishwasher, soap etc....toaster, blender, juicer, kettle microwave, stove, etc..... Easy access Security Quietness Proximity to Las Olas Boulevard 30 minutes walk to beach, which is awesome if you want to get your daily walk. If not, few minutes away by car. Parking included.

A nice spacious room, very comfortable, good mattras, kitchen well equipped. Nice pool to strech your muscles.

The person in charge on the Day of arrival did not know we arrived a day later; she was not informed well by the owner!! The entrance-code did not work. Room number was not known to us nor to the very nice and helpfull lady Margareth!! Problem was solved after a while but should not have happened.

This is a set of 16 or so apartments (with different setups), with a pool, right on one of the canals, between the Las Olas restaurants and the beach. Great location, very quiet, easy walking distance to the main Las Olas downtown, a bit farther to the beach, but also walkable (or 5 min drive). We had the 2bd 2ba apartment with a kitchen - very comfortable setup for our family of 5. There was also the sofa-bed, which has an excellent foam mattress, and reserved parking spots for the apartments. The location allowed us to enjoy the downtown restaurants, and the kitchen was super useful for making breakfast at the apartment (there's a publix 10 min away). Swimming pool was very nice and warm, and the manager was super responsive and attentive to our requests. The doors are frosted-glass, and at night some light shines through from the facility outdoor lights. I've asked the manager to fix this, and he immediately disconnected the lights. Really wonderful stay!

Great location. Big sized apartment, the bedrooms and living room were really nice size, walk-in closets, both bedrooms has access to the balcony. Kitchen was very well equipped. Staff were nice and polite. I loved the most the complimentary water was available outside.

There was a mold in the bathroom. The building is old.

A cute and cozy place, quiet, but close to action. A short drive from the beach and a short walk to Las Olas boulevard. Well appointed with all necessities. Good communication with the hosts, convenient parking, very comfortable bed. Wish there was a way to get new beach towels without doing laundry, and we did once, then we did laundry.

Great facilities. Room was well equipped with beach chairs and beach towels. Staff suggested a beach umbrella and brought us a brand new one for our trip to beach. Unit had coffee waiting and all toiletries that we needed.
