I'm going to this place for 10 years ,I love the hotel

When I did my check, they gave me to do my different room ,I did my booked January and April Oscar, and one front desk people change my room for a second floor ,I was very disappointed because I choose 2 queen bed and the room i was only 1 bed and second floor , my husband is 74 years old, and I'm visiting the same place and same room for more than 10 year ,anyways i enjoyed my july 4..no any others better room at this time, I hope next year will be better

Annabella at the front desk was very sweet, nice, and helpful and that was the perfect start to a maxing stay! The location is absolutely amazing! The location to the beach and being right on the boardwalk couldn’t have been better. It had a quaint little bar/restaurant with live music right at the beach. It was right on the boardwalk and very close to tons of restaurants and entertainment. The room was nice, no major dislikes. It was a little older and comfort could have been slightly better, but overall an amazing place to stay.

Comfort, a little outdated.

Great place. Staff always working to keep hotel clean. Friendly. Front desk gentleman carry our bags to the 3 floor. Sorry forgot his name. No elevator. Rooms were nice. Beds comfortable (king with ocean views) would stay again for sure.

Parking was terrible. It seemed to me People with no rooms parking in spots for the hotel guest. Tiki bar wine based mixed drinks. Margaritas/ just didnt taste right with Wine. Beers were served. Didn't serve normal alcohol.

We were in a direct oceanfront, spacious room. The location of this property was amazing and you could not have a asked for a better view or location on the broadwalk. We did not eat at the onsite tiki bar, but the music and atmosphere was a nice addition. The room was not fancy, but the bathroom was updated and very nice. The kitchen area was convenient and functional. If you are looking for a perfect beachfront location, definitely book this hotel. It was not 5 star quality, yet fit our needs amazingly well.

Overall, we did not have any major dislikes. The beds were not that comfortable and the kitchen was not updated. Otherwise, we had no complaints.

The property is located on the quiet strip of the boardwalk. Perfect for sitting outside in the evenings watching the waves and stars. During the day the beach is not busy in this spot at all. You can actually go and relax. Plenty of room and spacing between groups to allow for privacy and relaxation.

The rooms are dated. Yes, an upgrade would be nice, BUT the cleanliness more than makes up for the older furniture and fixtures.

Front desk staff went above and beyond to allow an early check in, since we had to Uber from a Miami cruise port mid morning. Location was incredible, rooms were clean, tiki bar was fantastic with great singing & vibe.

Kitchenette and small dining table were dated, one dining chair actually broken but not a deal breaker since we didn't really need either. Food from the bar wasn't too bad, a bit overpriced for what we got but definitely convenient.

If you are looking for a comfortable stay for a reasonable price in the heart of the action of Hollywood Beach, Riptide should be at the top of your list. The hotel is older and in all honestly a bit run down, but this is easily forgiven by the size of the room (we had a suite with 2 beds, a sofa bed, and a kitchenette), the breathtaking views, and the stellar location on the broadwalk that's an easy walk to great restaurants, shops, entertainment, and the water taxi, which is a great way to explore all the way to Fort Lauderdale. Not to mention the Tiki bar, which has fantastic live entertainment, food and service. We just had a short stay before our cruise, but would love to go back again!

I travel professionally for work daily and I must say that, Allie, at the front desk was the most professional and courteous young lady I have had the pleasure of meeting as I began my little beach get away! She was kind, welcoming, accommodating, an excellent first introduction to your friendly hotel! We had a great stay and will be back again soon in addition to highly recommending this property to visitors and locals as well. Thanks again Allie!!😊🫶

The location was great - and the little tiki bar with live music was always hopping, but not too loud and not open real late They supplied beach towels and chairs but unfortunately we didn’t have a chance to use them

It does need a little sprucing up but it’s fine. They need some lighting outside the second building - was difficult to see to unlock our door after dark. The towels are so thin, it seems that’s one thing that could be improved, for the price
