Everything! We opted for one of the houseboats which had a very spacious bedroom with 2 large comfy beds. The large living room/kitchen area has a proper sofa bed so the place can sleep 6. There is occasional gentle rocking of the houseboat as waves from small passing boats reach it, a wee reminder it’s a houseboat. We were lucky to have one of the far end HBs (number16) so we had great views over the water from 2 sides. Pelicans utilised the mooring posts to the side of us. We used the Motel pool at least once every day- it’s not heated but that suited us fine to cool down then sunbathe for a while. The laundry room is in the pool area so we washed a load whilst using the pool one day. We were lucky enough to see 3 manatees gently gliding from under another HB towards the mangroves as we left the pool one afternoon. We borrowed an iron, kettle and hairdryer from reception (or office as they call it). The staff we met were fantastic, big shout out to Rose, Bob and I’m sorry I don’t know the other lady’s name who we met on our second day, but she provided us with the kettle. The Motel is not far off the main road and a fire/emergency station so we did occasionally hear the sirens wailing but there really was no traffic noise. There’s a bar/diner very close by (Mac’s Place) which had live music every day but only until 8 or 9 pm at the latest. The live music was a guy with a guitar and it was actually pleasant to hear it from the pool area.

Only one tiny thing which I mentioned to Rose when we checked out, the towels were a bit small, we couldn’t get them rounds our bodies but there were plenty of them.

Harborside is a gem! Clean rooms with nice amenities. Quiet location. Easy access by car/scooter/bike to Duval St, restaurants and groceries stores. The room had everything we needed (full size refrigerator, kitchenette, small table and chairs and an additional chair for relaxing). Bed was adequate, slightly hard for my preference. Will stay here again!

It takes a little time to get hot water. I felt like I was wasting water while waiting for it to warm up enough to shower. Bathroom should have some type of vent. It gets steamy in there quickly. We opened the window prior to showering, however, it didn't help much.

We stayed at a number of cheap motels etc on our road trip and this one was by far the best. Great location, short walk into the centre of Key West but being on the edge of town avoided car parking difficulties. The room was just as we expected and very clean and comfortable.

Coming from the UK it is normal here for basic tea and coffee making facilities to be provided in a room. Here in the USA that is not the case so we had to take a walk to find a shop to buy some tea coffee and milk. Not a criticism with this particular motel, but expectations in the USA where you have to come with your own provisions and the only way to heat water to make your beverage is in the microwave oven.

The houseboat we had was clean and well-equipped and had everything needed for cooking. We had to alter the dates and the staff were really accommodating. For the room we had we consider it to be have been good value. As we were right on the water, the view was fantastic and it was in a good location for the town. The use of a pool was also a nice addition and the pool was a good size.

Although there is outside space available to all guests, there was no area next to the houseboat and this meant that we did not have anywhere to dry towels, swimming costumes easily. The weather wasn't great when we were there and so we didn't have anywhere to hang towels, etc. inside either. Somewhere to do this would be a great addition.

Small property on the water; nice pool not crowded; bathroom was large ; bedroom was good sized except for the person who had to get in bed from the wall-side. Would definitely book again!

A little far to walk to Duval street and other tourist spots; definitely had to have transportation or use Uber. I thought the houseboat would move a little on the water but it was just a large nice little house on water.

We were in the boathouse with a great view of the harbor. The rooms were large and very clean. We spent the morning watching the sunrise and in the evenings could sit on the dock and listen to the bands at Macs place which is a quick walk if you choose to head over.

The airport is very close and there are flights overhead quite frequently. We were out sightseeing most of each day so I do not know what the middle of the day is like, but you will start the day with planes flying over.

Room is pleasant Convenient to have full size refrigerator, sink, microwave. Dock and pool areas are nice

This place is NOT what you’d expect for the price. Area near room is like a standard motel. Internet is very slow most of the time. Basically dead in the evenings. Pillows are worn out. Flat and lumpy. Shower head is old Very limited kitchen equipment.

This place truly surprised us with its magical atmosphere—set right on a peaceful and beautiful dock, it offered a sense of calm we didn’t expect when we booked. The host was extremely kind and helpful, offering us coffee and great tips on how to explore the island. The room was spacious and comfortable, with a kitchen, bathroom, and a wardrobe area. The bed was very cozy, and the warm, welcoming vibe made us feel right at home. A hidden gem—we would definitely stay again!

The pretty cosy rooms , immaculately clean, pool, bbq area and terraced area , parking on site and of course “LOCATION “ We personally wouldn’t stay anywhere else 🧡 miss all of the team already , Bob,Barbara,and Rose 🌹 and the lovely housekeeping ladies x planning next visit already ,just gotta go home and work a little harder 🤣

The location was close enough to all of the attractions to be easily reached, but in a more private less busy part of the island. I liked that I could easily access a neighborhood grocery store and also the hustle and bustle of Duval Street with little effort for both.

While I am in the room, which isn't much, I would like to be able to watch streaming channels instead of cable. There are times, when it rains or when you don't feel like going out, that what is on tv is your only source of entertainment. Cable doesn't offer a lot.
