Staff was absolutely incredible to go out of their way to help me navigate across the city, to help me dry my rain coat, to store my food and luggage for me. Even though I ended up forgetting to take food from refrigerator. Room was very big, spacious, bed were comfy and clean. There were one toilet and one toilet with shower room. - Hostel also rent bycicles for 20$/day, and 32$ for 2 days and so on. - Hostel is almost next door to butterfly conservatory.

Nothing. Everything was perfect. I'd love to stay longer, but prices bite so much. I have never paid 114$ for my stay in my entire life. I paid as little as 6$ in Chiang Mai (Thailand). I don't like to overpay for my stay

We stayed in room 7 which was very nice. The courtyard outside of the room is under construction, they said a pool is being added so that will be wonderful for the future. Beds were comfortable. Windows need screens. Blinds need replacing. The rest of the room looked pretty new. Bathroom was clean and pretty tiles. Would stay in this location again.

Didn't know the courtyard was under construction but not an issue we only slept there and no active construction was taking place on the night we stayed. Originally we were going to stay in the hostel portion but we upgraded to a private room so we could of course have more privacy. We are over 50 and bunk beds was not a wise choice. No problem for young people. But it is the fact that we like to talk when we get to our room and how do you do that if your in a room with strangers trying to sleep. This is no a fault of the hostel section, if you like that go for it. Lucky for us room 7 was available.

Emma was fantastic when we checked in. She was very helpful in giving us some info about the area in general and she made the check-in process quick and easy. My wife was an experienced hostel traveler, but I was a little skeptical and I have to say that everything exceeded my expectations. It was somewhat of an impromptu trip and many places were booked and the prices were outrageous since we there there during the busiest week of the year in South Florida. We rented bikes from the hostel and it was a quick way to get to the ferry terminal as we were there to go to Dry Tortugas NP.

I can't say there is anything that disappointed me.

I appreciate the friendly and helpful staff who provided guidance on the best things to do in Key West. I liked the location, situated in a quiet area near Higgs Beach and the Southernmost point. The cleanliness of the location was commendable, and the fact that they changed the towels after 2 days was a nice touch. Thank you for enhancing my stay and assisting me in booking the boat trip with Fury. 🤗

I recommend using a suitable product to address the appearance of mold on the wooden bed frame.

The staff made this trip very special - hopping up to give me requested coffee packs whenever I came to their window. The room had been renovated very comfortably. Of note was the air conditioning which performed very well for my wished temperature. I made a special request to not receive housekeeping for the entire 12-day stay, but when the supervisor spotted me outside in the courtyard, she asked if I needed anything and was very helpful. I took my own trash out since they had a large rolling bin at the back area of the courtyard - very easy to get to. They were very helpful setting up taxi rides plus recommended a bike rental place nearby. THE LOCATION was perfect for quick bike rides to Duval Street and other attractions. The beach was just 2 short blocks away. This was by far the best vacation that I have ever had and I have recommended Seashell to all my friends...and now to the world. I know this sounds a bit "much" but they truly deserve your business!!

The courtyard got a little loud a couple of nights with small groups talking after midnight - but the office is just a call away and they handled the complaint very well. The guests were apologetic and had no problem going to their rooms to continue visiting.

room was clean ad bed was comfy. Bathroom was clean and shower worked well Courtyard was comfortable and the little library was a pleasant surprise Staff gave us good suggestions of how to get lunch, etc.

It took quite a whole for the water to get hot but it was great after a few minutes Restock the library with more books or magazines We asked about renting bikes but got a vauge answer and ended up walking everywhere.

We got a renovated room, and it was great! bathroom was spanking clean, the bed was comfortable. No issues with wi-fi. Smooth check-in. There was an on-going renovation at the site, but the we were informed a few times prior to our stay that it may be noisy, so we were prepared.

It's a longer walk to the Old Town Key West and majority of the dining options, so make sure your have comfortable shoes if you prefer to walk.

The room and the bathroom were surprisingly nice considering this is a budget accomodation in Key West. Great location, within a mile from all the attractions, some of them much closer like a nice beach. A quiet air condition, so you can leave it overnight, a necessity with those temperatures. Pleasant patio to hang out / eat. Parking is free but limited, park if you can and leave the car there.

Not much soundproofing, we were woken up by chickens.

The common area was super nice and the host very kind and happy to answer all my questions. The position was also good, near the centre and at 30 min by walk from Mallory square, passing through the main street full of bars and art galleries.

The only defect was for me the absence in the room of an even minimal space where to leave personal things, as a bag with cloths or bathing things.

Was in a great location and the room was very clean. Had a large refrigerator and a microwave too. Bed was quite comfortable and liked that the TV was in the bedroom. The staff were very nice and quite helpful and made the room very clean too. We had a nice sitting area right outside the room and in the courtyard there were a large amount of chairs and a pavilion to sit under too.

AC was lacking a bit, could have been a better unit, was warm sometimes. The place where I parked the car was quite a way from the room, although there was a back gate that was locked and if a key would have been provided would have made life a lot easier. Not much sound proofing, could hear neighbors upstairs and beside us too, glad no one threw a party! LOL
