I travel the world for a living as a nationally syndicated journalist and radio announcer. I've seen the best and worst in hotels. This is one of the best hotels I've ever enjoyed. I first look at value and this hotel exceeds in that category. The location was excellent, the room, perfectly heated pool and facilities were second to none. The breakfast was a huge treat with plenty of options especially the wonderful happy lady at the omlette bar. The front desk staff were always happy, professional and couldn't wait to do enough for you. The house cleaning staff were super friendly and very efficient. Overall, I give this hotel a 10 out of 10. Congrats to the owners for giving us a wonderful experience. Glenn Crouter

Excellent front desk staff (Emma? and Sumara?) Bike rental was very convenient.

Resort fee is unconscionable. We didn't swim or even use a table near the pool.

The rooms were very clean! The location of the hotel is perfect for walking around. The location is also very close to the lively part of town. The staff and everyone we encountered was very courteous. The room was fabulous! The pool was very nice and the whole property was very well maintained! Also, if you stay at silver palms and rent a golf cart from A&e rentals, they will pick you up and drop you off at the airport in Key West.

Parking, I wish more parking was available. This is the only minor issue we had. They let us park in the 15-minute guest check in parking because all of the other spots were either not available or blocked off.

the room was clean and the bed and pillows were comfortable. We had everything we needed in the room, microwave, fridge, blow dryers. the breakfast was a continental breakfast but they also had a great omelet station. the pool was very clean . Siver Palms as a whole was very clean. they cleaned the pool and area every day. they wiped all hand rails everyday. People were excellent. I would stay again.

there wasn't anything I didn't like about it. It was very walkable but , but for someone that has knee problems, it i could have been a little closer to Duval.

Wonderful place – very good location, close to the main street, Duval, with attractions, pubs, and restaurants nearby. Extremely friendly and helpful staff, very clean, and you can see the cleaning crew working throughout the property. The hotel pool is small but very clean and pleasant. There was always a parking spot available for us at the hotel lot, and it was included in the stay :) Breakfasts were typically American (except for the omelets, which were freshly prepared by the staff) – a bit hard to comment on from a European perspective :) A place truly worth recommending – and as soon as we’re back in Key West, we’ll definitely stay here again :)

Everything was excellent.

Hotel was so welcoming & helpful (Peter). We chose a deluxe king room with pool view and it was perfect for us. Parking is free with a small but adequate breakfast included. Nice pool area where you can relax, eat breakfast (with omlettes cooked poolside). Walking distance to all attractions, but if you wanted to use the free "loop bus", there is a stop round the corner.

There was nothing not to like really. If I was being picky, the carpark elevator felt a little rickety and I feel the hotel would benefit from having a bar area. However, this place is still a little Gem & definitely recommended. The hotel sadly allowed it to rain for a while which we didn't like 😜

Free breakfast was wonderful. The omelet hut put it over the top for the competition. The pool was lovely. There were plenty of chairs. Rooms were comfortable and clean. Free parking was a huge bonus. However, the parking spaces were quite tight. We loved the small size (about 50 rooms).

Prices throughout Key West are quite high. This was no exception. Rating the area against other options (all inclusive resorts, etc), I would have to say it is not a good value.

Within walking distance to everything we wanted to see and do; Salt water pool with plenty of seating Breakfast each morning. Not a lot of choices but had an omelet station. All sufficient for our needs Comfortable bed and spacious room. Also enjoyed the outdoor balcony area. Sink area was a little tight, but liked that it was separate from the tub and toilet Security seemed good

No restaurant or bar, but we knew that before booking. Not so much a dislike, but pool area signs state no food or drinks. As mentioned, hotel doesn't have a restaurant or bar, so it would've be nice to enjoy some snacks and drinks by the pool after a long day touring the island. I'm not sure how much they monitor this, so maybe we could've brought something in, but we do our best to follow the rules.

The entire staff was very friendly, always smiling. They were constantly cleaning something, even the tops of the exposed water pipes in the parking garage. Breakfast was very good, never running out of a particular item, like often happens at other hotels. Choice of omelets was a plus to the continental breakfast. We were never more than a 5 minute Uber ride from any of the attractions we visited. Very nice pool and pool deck. Ice water available 24 hours. We would definitely stay again.

Wish we had been able to stay longer in Key West

The location is right in old town which is great. We were able to rent bikes right at the location and take those around. The room was clean and the bed was comfortable. The staff at the hotel was very friendly and helpful.

The air conditioner in our room made a loud noise that sounded like someone was vacuuming, we were able to turn the air down the second day, but then it was a little too warm while sleeping. The computer crashed while they were checking me in and think they forgot to apply my booking.com rate/discount and I ended up paying a little more than I had originally booked the room for.
