The hotel itself is beautiful, a great location, and well-maintained installations. Everything inside was clean and comfortable, and I really appreciated the attention to detail for a beach island hotel and the small size of the bedroom. The lighthouse and Hemingway House just across the street are wonderful historical touches that add to the charm of this beautiful place, and the plants and landscaping are just gorgeous.

The AC equipment is also very old. It was hard to sleep with the extremely loud noise running at all times, which was not the perfect ending to a day spent under the sun, when all we wanted was to relax. We even had to keep the TV volume high to cover the AC sound. I think newer units would be the perfect last touch for all bedrooms. Otherwise, the hotel is truly lovely, and we will return to Key West, as we do every year! - Hopefully, they will update the AC units soon.

Room was large, nicely appointed. Bed was comfortable. The location was awesome, in a quieter area of Key West, but still close to a lot of restaurants and things to do and see. There were plenty of towels and linens. Bath products were nice. I appreciated having access to water and coffee throughout the day.

Room was humid, I know it's Florida, but this seemed like it could have been remedied or at least improved somehow. We also did not have hot water one night. This was fixed the next morning. We told staff at checkout and they said that somehow the hot water heater had gotten turned off.

My mother and I stayed here for a week over the 4th of July holiday and had a wonderful experience. Our room was spacious and comfortable, with a king-sized bed and fresh towels provided daily. The location truly couldn’t be better — everything was within walking distance, which made exploring the area so easy. The pool was a great bonus during the hot days, and the staff were all very friendly and welcoming. We would absolutely stay here again!

Very quaint and not your typical hotel almost a bed and breakfast.

Air conditioner is very loud and above bed in our room but my bigger concern was cleaning staff were in our room before we had checked out therefore we were unable to do a thorough check that we had everything

Property is beautiful and quaint. We had a big group there for a wedding in town, nice to be together. the daily breakfast exceeded our expectations, much more than normal continental. The bar/breakfast room is very well appointed. Staff very nice and helpful.

Walls are a tad thin :). We waited almost an hour for someone to come back to registration desk so we could get our luggage out of storage. Someone in front of us waited longer just to check in. Apparently couldn't get in touch with person on the property? was around 6:30pm

Room 43 was great. Pool was ok. Breakfast was very good - lots of choices. Staff was very friendly and very accommodating!

The room I booked was smaller than anticipated, and did not have a window or door that I could leave open. I went to the front desk and asked about opening the window, was concerned about the strong smell of chlorine/bleach, and the TV wouldn’t stay flush against the wall. The staff person (I’m sorry I didn’t get her name) was wonderful and tried to find another room for me. She was able to upgrade me to a king room with a patio (Room # 43) for the same price that I had paid, and I was extremely grateful. That room was wonderful. I greatly enjoyed the room and the patio deck was so enjoyable for my evening cocktail, and morning coffee. Thank you! I will definitely recommend the Lighthouse to everyone!

The location is unbeatable – just steps from Duval Street, directly across from the Hemingway House and Lighthouse. It’s also within walking distance to South Beach, the Southernmost Point, and great sunset spots. I really enjoyed the breakfast and the overall cozy boutique vibe of the hotel. There are three parking options, two of which are free, though you’ll need a bit of luck to find an open spot.

A/C was noisy. In-house bike rent would be a nice upgrade.

Great location. Staff was friendly Music at poolside two afternoons - however it started right after lunch when everyone was out. By the time we came back from our daily activities they had played to noone and then left an hour later. Liked having the bar at poolside. Again, the hours were very early. Pool location is private and very inviting. It's big enuf.

The bed was minimally comfortable and the bedding was substandard. Used Queen sheets on a King bed. AC was noisy and there was no option to just introduce outside air, even when the outside temp was perfect.

The parking. We were told to park at the back of the hotel and if we found a space stay in it otherwise we’d have to pay in the local car park. We had to leave the key with the bar staff and couldn’t find the receptionist. We then received an invoice for $64.50 for parking. I as why; they said we were told. As we were 200 miles away could doing anything about it!
