Loved the property. Loved the area and the history. Loved the gated area and proximity to Duval street and Mallory square. Loved the pool and the outside seating around the pool. Loved eating breakfast at the pool or on my balcony.

I didn’t like the stairs up to the rooms, getting suitcases up there was an effort.

Location was fantastic. Walkable to almost everything. We like the continental breakfast and the hot/cold water dispenser. The lady at the front desk was wonderful, kind and had answers and suggestions. Helped us get our laundry done. The staff will do anything if you request it.

Bath room sink drains very slowly. Floor was not clean ... gritty and dead bugs (no live ones) against baseboards behind night table. They provide slippers which we needed because of the floor grit. The grit was easy to drag into the bed if your didn't wear the slippers. We didn't ask for the floor to be cleaned or the sink fixed and we probably should have. We found a work around with the use of their slippers and we could live with the slow draining sink.

The location is 5 out of 5 with free parking. It is in the Truman Annex somewhat gated and very quiet neighborhood.

My husband loves to watch TV to catch up on current events before going to bed but the screen on the TV was cracked by the previous guest per Jen at the front desk and was informed that the TV was on order. There was no hair dryer in the room and the night stand top drawer was broken. Our room was on the second floor and it was a work out carried our luggages up the stairs.

This was booked for a medical conference close by to the hotel. It was close enough to many street vendors, shops, restaurants etc whilst also being very quiet. The air conditioning was excellent and the bed very comfortable. The staff were polite and helpful. The hotel was located within a locked compound of the island which required key access after 6pm.

Small but adequate continental breakfast on offer. As with probably most hotels on the island, there is no 24 hour reception on offer. Access to the rooms upstairs is only available by an external staircase. Oh, the very odd decision to put the TV in a wardrobe made viewing it very difficult from the bed as the door was in the way. I'd suggest they fix it to the chimney breast instead.

The accommodations are beautiful and the location is awesome!

Two years ago, we stayed for several days. This year, the price was almost triple what it was in April of 2021.

The location was absolutely perfect for strolling into the heart of Key West and incredibly safe as it is located in a gated community. The staff on the day with checked-in was VERY helpful and charming...her weekend replacement was not nearly as engaged!

As someone who routinely like to be upstairs, I had not realized the 2nd floor stairs were OUTSIDE and fairly steep. We did not have an issue, but I would urge others to take that into consideration!

The location was fantastic, quiet and safe within “The Truman annex”. Beautiful old home! Love the name with all the history…

It was a B&B but we were supposed to take our breakfast on a tray to our rooms (and sit on the bed to eat it…). Limited breakfast and everything was pre packed in plastic. Coffee was good. There is ample space at the reception area to make a nice breakfast buffet, (where all the information about things to do in Key West is laying out on a side table)and put two nice small French style tables and chairs out for guests convenience. So they can enjoy breakfast outside their hotelroom. Reception staff and HK staff were (except for the receptionist at our last night) not interested or helpful. At checkout the receptionist didn’t even look up when we put the key down and said goodbye. Unfortunately, the pool was closed for maintenance.

The continental breakfast was good. Could have used, some creamers, for the coffee.

A few things. I tried, by email, for an earlier check in. They said, they cant accommodate us, try the day of. We drove down, from Key Largo, and arrived earlier then expected. After noon, at wich point, we asked, about checking in early. They said, they couldn't do it, which I expected. We stated, we where going for a bite, and will be back about 3, believeing, they should be able to accommodate us then. Returned, and was told, itll still be a bit. Once in, we never had our room cleaned, or fresh towels. The rates aren't cheap.

The breakfast was pleasant and adequate. The location is fantastic and so quiet for being so close to the action. I got a kick out of the fence around the Truman Annex and nighttime security gates. And the staff couldn't have been sweeter or more helpful if they tried. The Inn is a truly quality hotel. Reeks of quality.

The only thing that detracts from a stay here is that there are no in-room tiny refrigerators. There's a fine "community" refrigerator in the basement and free water, tea, and coffee all day in the front office but it's extremely inconvenient when you want a cool sip of water in the middle of the night. Or a nightcap in your room. Or a quick bite at 2:00 AM. If there was a small fridge in the room, I'd give the place 6 stars!

This is a beautiful property, filled with history. Super clean, bright and airy and in a brilliant, safe location close to everything. A Lovely breakfast was provided, which could be taken out to the pool area or to our room. The hosts were super friendly and informative. Huge bathroom and shower and all the storage we needed. Tea and coffee and chilled water available at all times.

Nothing- it was all wonderful!
