The property was extremely secure as you had to use a room key card to operate floors in the elevator. Room had a magnificent view of the Miami port, and we were extremely grateful that eating venues were within walking distance. Room was very spacious, had everything you needed including high quality toiletries. Bed and pillows were very comfortable and everything was clean.

Pool area filled up quickly not leaving many chairs. We had some loud neighbors that woke us up in the middle of the night. We could also hear them throwing up in the morning which wasn’t too pleasant. Possibly due to our room having a locked joining door vs. a solid wall. Second night was much quieter.

In addition to the above, the lobby was impressive. I enjoyed my meal and drink in the restaurant. Our stay was overnight as it was close to the cruise port as we were sailing the next day. I liked that parking was also available. The hotel we stayed at in South Beach after the cruise misrepresented themselves on when booking and stated that parking was available onsite, which is was not and we had to park at a nearby hotel. The amenities are helpful for people to make decisions about where they want to stay. So appreciated that everything that was advertised online about Inter Continental was what we received. There was an issue with our room which I will speak to below, but the Front Desk handled it very quickly and professionally which was appreciated. Would definitely stay again!

Check in was at 4:00 and we arrived at 7:00. The staff at Check-In were friendly and professional. On entering our room it was not serviced, i.e. had not been cleaned. I found this to be wholly unacceptable and especially given check in was at 4:00pm and we arrived 3 hours later. However, as mentioned above, we immediately went downstairs and the staff were apologetic and gave us another room with a view which was absolutely beautiful which we shared pics with our family who noted the name of the hotel for future reference.

The hotel is undeniably beautiful and comfortable, and the breakfast is truly excellent. Unfortunately, the service left much to be desired. From the moment we arrived, the staff were rude and dismissive. They answered questions with clear reluctance and seemed constantly impatient or annoyed. On top of that, the shower was weak and the water barely got warm. For the price paid, I expected a much higher standard of hospitality. I wouldn’t recommend it to anyone who wants to have a pleasant stay. It’s simply not worth it to be treated this way.

My daughter and I were on vacation, the hotel is great, everything is clean, tidy, spacious. Excellent location, close to attractions, supermarket, shopping

Many guests come to Miami by car, it's a shame that parking costs so much money, we should give a discount to people who come for more than two nights because there is actually no other option

Overall at 4.25 Stars kind of a stay. You will literally get the best sleep of your life at this hotel. They have the best beds, linens and pillows. They have refillable water in the lobby. You can also ask any of the bartenders to fill your reusable container with ice, water and citrus. Their club lounge is so worth it! Book directly through IHG Rewards to get it for free or as an add on. Normally it is $150 per day. It is located on the 29th floor with beautiful city views! They have three main events during the day: - Breakfast (Superb) - Afternoon tea time (meh) - Happy Hour with light bites (EXTRAORDINARY) The security manager is tough. They do check that you have access for that day. Breakfast was a wide selection of breads, pastries/desserts, cerials, chia pudding cups, veggies, charcuterie, boiled eggs, some hot items, etc. Juices, seltzer, coffee and teas. - The sliced fruit was dragon fruit, melons, pinapples, watermelon - all perfectly ripe - Their fruit bowl had the most amazing bosc pears - The only items missing were sourdough bread - Bottled seltzer (it comes out as fountain drink) Afternoon tea was meh. Some sandwiches like cheese and ham, brie with jam, etc. and a few desserts. - Their tea choice is not that great - Refills or refreshed sandwiches was slow - But they had the most amazing wasabi peas Happy hour is where you get the most bang for the buck! - First night: filet mignon was the main - cooked perfectly to medium rare - 2nd night: octopus paella, with a garnish of 2 HUGE shrimps (the size of your face), that you can get when they first refill - They had sushi platter (but the rice was dried out, seemed like leftovers) - Hummus cups with veggies - Cucumber salad - Shrimp cocktail cups in a light vinagrette - Grilled veggies like cauliflower steak - Desserts - Wine, beer, supplies to make your own cocktails - Ginger ale - Canned Sodas The room was soo roomy but lighting was dim (except for the lighting in the bathroom).

The rooms were too cold. No heat. Oh Room Heaters. THe pool was mid - was supposed to be heated, but cold. No jacuzzi. The Gym was mid, nobody really used it, very old equipment.

Very convenient location, big spacious room with a great view, big and clean bathroom and shower space, plenty of drinking water and fresh towels left in the room every day. The concierge team members were extremely friendly and helpful.

Unlike the concierge team, the receptionists, although professional, were not very friendly or overly helpful. The hotel was undergoing some refurbishment during the stay, so it was noisy with a lot of drilling sounds. Room was not ready upon check in, even though early check in was requested at the time of booking, and I had to wait a couple of hours.

His professional approach to guests made us to feel special during our stay. - Personnel was very polite (only one day I found not so happy person at the reception). - Fresh bottles of water waiting, in the room, for us after very sunny and hot days - Possibility of refilling your water bottle at the lobby - Breakfast: fresh and tasty fruits (watermelon, melon, pinapple, blueberries, strawberries), scrambled eggs, omelet, smoked salmon, desserts in small glass containers - View from 30+ floors during the day and night was very nice - Size of the room (we took Classic King Room with City View) - Location was awesome. Hotel is close to the Metromover station - Bayfront Park Station (from where you could get to the train station e.g. Brickell), close to the bus stop (next to the Bayfron park), where you could get in line 100 to the South Beach, close to the Sky Views. There are two stops of the Miami trolley near to the hotel (at the Biscayne Blvd) - Check-out at 12 a possibility of leaving your luggage till late hours During my trip I was staying in more luxuary hotel than this and still I like more InterContinental. I was checking the raiting at booking.com and 8.5 is a good rank for the hotels in Miami

What you could adjust? - Temperature at the lobby. We came to Miami in August, and it was very hot outside. When we opened the lobby's door, we felt like we were entering to the fridge :D. Too big temperature difference - Please ensure that during the breakfast there is enough tea bags. For the first tea, we got what we asked for. But for the second, few times instead of the receiving green tea, I got something else because requested tea was over - Make bathroom floor warmer. Floor tiles were so cold. Only hotel's slippers resolved that problem (leave them next to the bed, in case you will go to the bathroom during the night and don't want to turn on the light to not wake up others ;))

The room had comfortable bedding, beautiful rooms and blackout blinds which were amazing. The staff was very friendly and helpful. they had restaurants on site and even a Starbucks. We got the buffet breakfast included with our room. The buffet was worth it. They had many different choices and I didn't have the same food options each day. The staff was quick to resolve issues, as we needed extra blankets and they even provided us a space heater. The rooms also came with robes and slippers, which was a nice additional touch. It was decorated so beautifully for the holidays. It really is just a gorgeous hotel.

The room was cold. The water was not hot, we got lukewarm water at best. I also thought the price of parking was quite inflated at $57 per night.

The hotel was not too far from the airport and the port from which we left on our cruise, so that was nice. Breakfast was nice, though it felt a little like we were being rushed. The best aspect of the hotel was the beds!! Slept like a baby!!

Too many asking for tips. This was a hotel that charged over 600 dollars for one night!! So that was a little suprising. Also was told to hush up by hotel security simply because my mum and I were talking early in the morning which we found extremely strange.
