Property was very clean and in a great location. Came down for a concert and it was located across the street from hotel and restaurants was across the street as well

When checking out we had a charge on us they wasn’t ours. Someone ate at the restaurant there and apparently used our room number. We told them we only ate breakfast which came to $97 which was ridiculous for what we had. So we definitely wouldn’t went back for another meal in there. They take it was a burger which I don’t eat beef and avocado another thing I don’t eat and that was $87 . They still put it on our bill. Before we left they said we wouldn’t get billed. The front desk says sometimes that happens but they will remove it from our bill. Now it’s 5days later and it’s still has not been refunded

The property was extremely secure as you had to use a room key card to operate floors in the elevator. Room had a magnificent view of the Miami port, and we were extremely grateful that eating venues were within walking distance. Room was very spacious, had everything you needed including high quality toiletries. Bed and pillows were very comfortable and everything was clean.

Pool area filled up quickly not leaving many chairs. We had some loud neighbors that woke us up in the middle of the night. We could also hear them throwing up in the morning which wasn’t too pleasant. Possibly due to our room having a locked joining door vs. a solid wall. Second night was much quieter.

In addition to the above, the lobby was impressive. I enjoyed my meal and drink in the restaurant. Our stay was overnight as it was close to the cruise port as we were sailing the next day. I liked that parking was also available. The hotel we stayed at in South Beach after the cruise misrepresented themselves on when booking and stated that parking was available onsite, which is was not and we had to park at a nearby hotel. The amenities are helpful for people to make decisions about where they want to stay. So appreciated that everything that was advertised online about Inter Continental was what we received. There was an issue with our room which I will speak to below, but the Front Desk handled it very quickly and professionally which was appreciated. Would definitely stay again!

Check in was at 4:00 and we arrived at 7:00. The staff at Check-In were friendly and professional. On entering our room it was not serviced, i.e. had not been cleaned. I found this to be wholly unacceptable and especially given check in was at 4:00pm and we arrived 3 hours later. However, as mentioned above, we immediately went downstairs and the staff were apologetic and gave us another room with a view which was absolutely beautiful which we shared pics with our family who noted the name of the hotel for future reference.

The hotel is undeniably beautiful and comfortable, and the breakfast is truly excellent. Unfortunately, the service left much to be desired. From the moment we arrived, the staff were rude and dismissive. They answered questions with clear reluctance and seemed constantly impatient or annoyed. On top of that, the shower was weak and the water barely got warm. For the price paid, I expected a much higher standard of hospitality. I wouldn’t recommend it to anyone who wants to have a pleasant stay. It’s simply not worth it to be treated this way.

Location to cruise port was excellent. Hotel was clean, modern and exceptional. Request for early check in was met and front counter staff was great. I will absolutely stay here again on my next cruise with Virgin Voyages.

Two staff honestly put our stay over the top . 1st was Henry, it wasn't just his customer service, and it wasn't just his. Willingness to do everything to make you feel special. It was genuine and he shared a lot of information about a lot of things that were absolutely helpful. Simply looking out the window on the bay side and pointing out multiple things. He is outstanding, he's special. secondly eduardo the chief concierge he was outstanding literally every piece of advice he gave from Key West,, south beach and little Havana... suggestions and which restaurants to go to and simply where to get dropped off in each location even on my way out of Miami leavimg in our rental car and the suggestions of driving down the coast in A1A, to stopat a few places and taking it to Hollywood. And driving up from there he was simply exceptional, Intercontinental is lucky to have that man. what I most enjoyed about the hum. were the conversations that we shared about both his and my family. What a super man.

pool hours are way to short

My daughter and I were on vacation, the hotel is great, everything is clean, tidy, spacious. Excellent location, close to attractions, supermarket, shopping

Many guests come to Miami by car, it's a shame that parking costs so much money, we should give a discount to people who come for more than two nights because there is actually no other option

Overall at 4.25 Stars kind of a stay. You will literally get the best sleep of your life at this hotel. They have the best beds, linens and pillows. They have refillable water in the lobby. You can also ask any of the bartenders to fill your reusable container with ice, water and citrus. Their club lounge is so worth it! Book directly through IHG Rewards to get it for free or as an add on. Normally it is $150 per day. It is located on the 29th floor with beautiful city views! They have three main events during the day: - Breakfast (Superb) - Afternoon tea time (meh) - Happy Hour with light bites (EXTRAORDINARY) The security manager is tough. They do check that you have access for that day. Breakfast was a wide selection of breads, pastries/desserts, cerials, chia pudding cups, veggies, charcuterie, boiled eggs, some hot items, etc. Juices, seltzer, coffee and teas. - The sliced fruit was dragon fruit, melons, pinapples, watermelon - all perfectly ripe - Their fruit bowl had the most amazing bosc pears - The only items missing were sourdough bread - Bottled seltzer (it comes out as fountain drink) Afternoon tea was meh. Some sandwiches like cheese and ham, brie with jam, etc. and a few desserts. - Their tea choice is not that great - Refills or refreshed sandwiches was slow - But they had the most amazing wasabi peas Happy hour is where you get the most bang for the buck! - First night: filet mignon was the main - cooked perfectly to medium rare - 2nd night: octopus paella, with a garnish of 2 HUGE shrimps (the size of your face), that you can get when they first refill - They had sushi platter (but the rice was dried out, seemed like leftovers) - Hummus cups with veggies - Cucumber salad - Shrimp cocktail cups in a light vinagrette - Grilled veggies like cauliflower steak - Desserts - Wine, beer, supplies to make your own cocktails - Ginger ale - Canned Sodas The room was soo roomy but lighting was dim (except for the lighting in the bathroom).

The rooms were too cold. No heat. Oh Room Heaters. THe pool was mid - was supposed to be heated, but cold. No jacuzzi. The Gym was mid, nobody really used it, very old equipment.

Very convenient location, big spacious room with a great view, big and clean bathroom and shower space, plenty of drinking water and fresh towels left in the room every day. The concierge team members were extremely friendly and helpful.

Unlike the concierge team, the receptionists, although professional, were not very friendly or overly helpful. The hotel was undergoing some refurbishment during the stay, so it was noisy with a lot of drilling sounds. Room was not ready upon check in, even though early check in was requested at the time of booking, and I had to wait a couple of hours.

Our stay at Intercontinental Miami was exceptional! The hotel is modern, elegant, and equipped with everything you need for a luxurious and comfortable stay. The room was spacious, spotless, beautifully organized, and had a well-equipped bathroom with everything we needed. The view from our room was absolutely breathtaking! The staff were incredibly welcoming and attentive, and the valet parking service was professional and efficient. The location is perfect and close to the city’s main attractions. We will definitely choose this hotel again on our next visit to Miami!
