The staff members were very pleasant and helpful. Although there are a few critiques, as below, the room overall was really nice. Love the suite. The lobby and lounging areas are excellent. The lobby view, overlooking the pool and lake (water retention) are superb. The grab n go food area/market came in handy.

I am vegan, and have been so for 29 years. Therefore, more vegan options on the breakfast buffet would have been nice. The bathroom toilet (Room 0811) was inconsistent, in terms of flushing. The flow was very low and at times didn't really flush. The water pressure in the shower can be higher. As well, the temperature of the water in the shower can be a little hotter.

I love this property. I love the lobby lay-out, the wide entrance, the spacious parking lot, the pool deck area, the restaurant and bar. My favourite part of this hotel is the blue lagoon view that I get to enjoy from the high rooms. From this hotel, you can enjoy a shaded walk under tree canopies to an area with a Starbucks, a Chipotle restaurant, and other popular restaurants. About 300 metres, you can also find a shopping plaza with Burlington, and a supermarket. Walgreen and CVS are also within walking distance in the Blue Lagoon area.

I would say that the staff can be friendlier. They are professional and efficient, but not friendly enough when serving guests and customers.

this hotel is my favorite. the architectural style of the public area - the staircase, bar, restaurant, pool - well designed, and inviting. I hope they never "renovate". the restaurant servers are professional, and friendly, having been there for many years. dinner is served in the bar area and chef has a really nice touch. the ahi tacos the best. the bed was comfortable.

these are just observations, not impacting my overall opinion of the hotel. housekeeping needs more attention to detail, and a better job of cleaning. a dresser drawer was fully open when I walked in and needed a wedge to stay shut. a wet face cloth was on the shower rod. and a metal supporting rod from the bed stuck out 4" w the bed skirt covering it, at ankle level. maintenance responded quickly and together we fixed the problem.

Although the room was a little dated it was spotlessly clean and really comfortable. I loved the bathtub, the bed and the view from my room was amazing!! Jesse on reception was so welcoming and friendly, he really made me feel at ease after a long and complicated journey. The lobby is stunning, very art deco with a fabulous cocktail bar. The ladies at the breakfast buffet were really sweet, the breakfast was a good selection although quite small. Would 100% stay again

The location was great. The ambiance of the hotel was great. The view from my room was beautiful.

The room could use a face-lift. The room was a little outdated. The pool area and hotel lobby are very nice. I had an issue with the cleanliness of my room. I did not make an issue at the time because I arrived late (due to flight issues). I was exhausted from my day of traveling from Atlanta. The bed was not inviting at all. There were obvious signs that the carpet had not been vacuumed. Debris was hidden under the bed skirt. The end tables and lamps were dusty, etc. The hotel is nice but a little pricey for the upkeep not to be up to par. Lastly, I loved the coffee shop in the lobby. Overall, I would probably consider staying there again the next time I'm in Miami for my next cruise.

This hotel has a problem with shuttle drivers. The first driver that picked us up from the airport was extremely rude by literally asking for a tip. In his words "No tip for me, man?". First of all, tips are optional. No one can be forced to tip. And second, it was the last day of our trip and we had just missed our flight, we didn't had a single dollar in the wallet. The next morning the shuttle driver complained to other driver in spanish about the number of bags we had. About the room. It is a decent room. Size is good and cleaning was good. They gave us an accessible room, wich I didn't asked for. I really don't like those rooms, but since it was for only one night I didn't requested to change rooms. The mini fridge is noisy, I had to turn it off to get some sleep.

Staff- Amazing front desk staff, didn’t meet any of the others Comfort-bed is extremely comfortable. There was alot of noise could be heard in our room 806 but ive come to realise this can be quite common in US hotels based on low build quality, and depending on where your room is situated ie next to or below housekeeping areas, stairwells, elevators etc Amenities-Pool is nice, gym also good Location-Close to restaurants, groceries and airport Shuttle is a bonus. Its departs every 30mins.

Nicest hotel in Miami. The art deco style of the bar is really one of a kind. Food is excellent both in the bar and for breakfast and really reasonably priced. Rooms are very clean, beds are comfortable. The staff in the bar is knowledgeable and hard working. Also in the dining room and at the housekeeping department. There is a fabulous view from the pool to the lake. The hotel is very close to the airport.

We checked out late and a mistake was made by the front office which was later repaired but it took a few days.

Whilst in Miami for a short break or transit, this is my hotel of choice. The location is excellent, close to local shops and restaurants. The rooms are spacious and comfortable, the pool area is extremely relaxing. Check in is always smooth and the staff are very friendly. The shuttle bus to/from the airport runs like clockwork every 30 minutes. Breakfast is really good, with lots of options. The bar area serves food options throughout the day and evening.
