Just left after the most wonderful 11 days in The Clarion. Location is ideal on Int Drive. Shuttle Bus to Universal is great. For a 3 star hotel, it definitely felt 4 star for us. Beautiful decor in reception. Excellent friendly staff. They all went above and beyond for us . Especially Harika. . Gorgeous cafe on site open 6am til 1am. $8.99 for breakfast or lunch. Plenty of choice. Amazing Indian restaurant also there for dinner. So reasonably priced. Excellent food. A nice bar open til 11pm with delicious cocktails. Super gift shop in reception run by a super friendly couple. The pool and hot tub are spotless as was our room. The most comfortable hotel bed i have slept in , in a long time. Room was serviced every 3 days. Laundry room on 2nd floor was so handy to not bring dirty washing home. Large patio area outside . . Comfy sun beds . Free parking. Fridge and coffee maker and iron in room. Fitness Centre is a nice add on. This is a Universal Partner Hotel. There is a kiosk beside the gift shop if you need to book park tickets etc. It was exceptional value for money. We had two queen beds. 3 people. And all 3 of us will now only return to this hotel in the future . . Thank You to all the staff for the lovely welcome we received , and the comfortable , friendly and relaxing time we all had . .

⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ A Comfortable Stay with Convenience and Character I recently stayed at the Clarion Inn & Suites across from Universal Studios, and I have to say—it exceeded my expectations in all the right ways. From the moment I checked in, the staff made me feel welcome. The front desk clerk was friendly, efficient, and even upgraded my room, which was a pleasant surprise. The location is unbeatable—just minutes from Universal Studios and within walking distance to great spots like TGI Fridays and the Orlando Premium Outlets. The free shuttle service to the parks was a huge plus, saving time and hassle. My suite was spacious, clean, and thoughtfully laid out. I appreciated the comfortable king-sized bed, mini fridge, coffee maker, and even the wet bar setup. The air conditioning worked like a charm, and the shower was refreshingly large. The grounds were well-kept, and I loved the courtyard vibe with its fountain and seating areas—perfect for unwinding after a long day. The pool area had great energy, and while it could get lively in the evenings, it added to the vacation atmosphere. Parking was free and secure, though a bit tight during peak hours—just a heads-up for fellow travelers. Overall, this hotel delivered comfort, convenience, and value. Whether you’re visiting Universal or just looking for a solid place to stay in Orlando, Clarion Inn & Suites hits the mark. I’ll definitely be back.

Location was great! Could walk to Universal although they had shuttle buses 3 times a day which were very reliable. Price very reasonable. Room had 2 large beds. Fridge was very cold. Air con kept room comfortable. Free parking. Room was a bit dated but absolutely acceptable. Pool area was lovely with free towels. Never an issue getting a lounger as I think most people who stay here go to the parks. Lovely Indian restaurant on site too.

Water dripped from aircon unit on to stairs. We had to avoid the drip every time we walked up the stairs (tiny issue)

Good amenities at the price, with a decent gym, pool, common areas. The Tabla cafe opening late is a very big win, offering good food (rice bowls are top notch) for good prices. Room is clean and freshly refurbished, with basic toiletries (soap, shampoo, conditioner, lotion) and ample towels provided. Air conditioning is effective at beating summer heat, and complementary Wifi anywhere on premises allow for access in and out of rooms.

Pillows in rooms are small, housekeeping is not provided daily and must be requested on demand before 9 am, lack of other toiletries ie dental kits and shower gel, hotel front desk staff at check in was not very friendly, difficult to navigate buildings and locate room at first.

It was really close to universal and stores were about 15 min walk. We ubered a lot but at night time we enjoyed the walk. The staff was very friendly ! The young gal at the bar was so fun and made really good drinks! The pool was really nice and had a cute view. The rooms were clean and for being a motel it was cute and I felt safe there. They have a little restraunt & two snack/souvenir shops inside. Super conveniant for late night snacks or last minute things. They had a shuttle for universal 4x a day that was nice.

We had some loud neighbors that seemed to be arguing/fighting a couple nights .

Very spacious. I loved the extra room with pull out sofa.LOVED HOW CLEAN IT SMELLED WHENN WE WALKED IN! THANK YOU!!! Tub was spotless too.

Staff at front desk on arrival could have been nicer. Questions seemed to annoy her. I also called for more towels and was told those had to be picked up at the front desk. Since we were in building 400, it would have been nice if in the room already or delivered. There were not enough towels for 5 people. Mattresses were ok. Pull out couch has uncomfortable springs and you could feel the springs under the regular queen mattresses too.

Pool was nice, check-in and out were quick, and close enough to Universal and the outlet mall to walk. I felt secure, and the safe in my room worked.

The room was damp, and one of the beds had mold on the edges of the mattress. I ran the fan in the bathroom and a/c during most of my stay to try and help. The lining of mattress protector was flaking off. Front staff didn't know anything about public transportation. As a traveler from out of the country, it was odd that i knew more than the staff did. At the very least, they should know what the bus system for their city is called... though i never took the bus, because turns out the routes are long and far and few between.

Emanuel at the front desk was Wonderful. Everyone was pleasant and the pool area was very nice. I thought there was free breakfast but I think they changed it. The masala fries at the Fusion restaurant were yummy … they give you 10 % off

The hot tub and pool area . The pillows and beds were so comfy. Quiet and we did Lyft to Universal and it was like 17 with tip … saved us a bunch for 6 peeps in 3 cars to not have to pay parking and it is truly mins away by car and allegedly a 20 min walk to park but we Ubered and Lyfted

The hotel is very large and offers an Indian restaurant and cafe, which is great if you love Indian food. The room was really nice, with two separate rooms, providing extra space. The pool area was beautiful, and there’s a small heated pool, which was a pleasant surprise. The hotel also has parking, which is a big plus. The reception staff were friendly and helpful, and the location is convenient, with Universal Park only a short Uber ride away.

The bathroom was quite small, and the noise from the fan in the bathroom was quite disturbing, as it got very loud whenever the light was turned on. If you stay for two nights, the room isn’t cleaned, but that’s something you can live with. The hotel’s food options are mainly Indian, so if you’re not a fan of spicy food, it might be hard to find something you’d enjoy, although the breakfast had cereals and croissants. The pool water was very cold in mid-March, which was disappointing, but the heated pool helped a little.

I have stayed several times at this little gem of a place, it location is fantasic, the staff are always vert helpuful and happy to help with any requests, okay it doesnt have all fancities of some of the bigger places, but for me I do not need these, you come to Orlando for the sun, the activities, and fun therefore you really do not spend any time in your room other than to sleep and wash, to that end I love this place, the pool is clean and is always quiet, if you want a day just to be lazy its perfect, parking is free which is teh added bonus in my mind, and as i said with the location being only a 15-20 minute walk to Universal you save on any parking costs there, finally dont waste your money on anywhere else this wee place will meet your requirements and leave you feeling appreciated and ready to book again.

Having now stayed here I think 6 times with varying times of year and lengths of stay the only thing i would like, with the flight times available for the UK a late checkout facility would be very helpful.
