The location of the property was excellent. Just a stones throw for universal studio. The staff was exceptional in their assistance. I would especially like to mention Isaiah and Peter, who made sure that that our stay remained comfortable, and they also assisted in guiding us about nearby attractions. Cleanliness was well maintained. And WiFi worked well.

Would like to suggest additional options for meals/ snacks esp halal, vegetarian, vegan. Since, multiculturalal guests are coming, it would be very helpful if in-house snacks had appropriate options. It would also be helpful if cash was accepted in addition to credit card. Sometimes international cards don’t work and one is in a fix if cash is not accepted.

We had a pleasant stay at this hotel, which is conveniently located close to Universal Studios. The rooms were clean and nicely maintained, with comfortable beds that made for a good night’s sleep. The bathroom was a bit small, and I wasn’t a fan of the sink being located outside of it. The AC unit was also a bit loud, but overall didn’t disrupt our stay. A special shoutout to Tanifa at the front desk—she truly made our experience extra special! She was friendly, knowledgeable, and went above and beyond to ensure we had everything we needed. Her warm hospitality made a lasting impression. Thank you, Tanifa!

The staff were so accommodating and helpful, each one went the extra mile to make our stay pleasant. We experienced staff there from the morning breakfast- options for everyone. They served us into the early evening where they served us again and I will add, WITH a smile! Such a great hard working staff.

The elevator needs to be fixed. We had to take the stairs multiple times. One of our fellow guest said her son stayed here in February 2025 and the same elevator was out of use. Hello,this is June! Time to get that fixed. Also the pool towels were never in the cabinet because the laundry is taken off site to the Hyatt House to be laundered. The staff rallied the best the could, apologized for the deficiency and literally ran over to the partnering Hyatt house to get towels for all of us. % star for the staff!

We stayed here from April 28 to May 1 (3 days, 4 nights) and were pleasantly surprised. The hotel is simple but quite nice. The room was clean, with plenty of towels and white bedding in good condition. There was a mini-fridge, a sink (perfect for washing dishes), and a good shower. I was especially surprised by the quality of the toiletries — much better than expected! The room also had an iron, ironing board, and a well-working AC. Our windows faced the street, but it was quiet at night, so sleep wasn’t disturbed. The location is excellent — very close to Universal Studios, outlets, bars, and restaurants. There’s a free shuttle, though we rented a car and didn’t use it. The only downside was the $22/night parking fee — it would’ve been nice if it was free. Breakfast was a big and pleasant surprise — really tasty and filling, with enough variety and fresh food every day. It’s served early (6:30–9:30 AM), which might be a bit too early for some. The staff was very friendly and helpful, and housekeeping did a great job. Overall, we were very satisfied and would stay here again!

EVERY staff person that we interacted with a t this Hyatt Place was excellent; excellent customer service, from the desk staff when we checked in to the breakfast staff - they were excellent, they made us feel welcome & like special guests! Housekeeping was excellent! We only stayed here 2 nights & didn't expect any housekeeping service on our second day there, we were pleasantly surprised to come home after a fun and long day at Universal, to find our beds all made up! The afternoon after we checked out of the hotel, I received a call from the hotel staff saying that the housekeeper had found a ring that my son accidentally left in our room. The housekeeper found it -- so grateful for her! - and then the staff called us so that we could come back & pick it up before we flew home. The room was FABULOUS for a larger family! With 3 teenagers/young adults, it was a wonderful to have 2 queen beds, plus 2 bunk beds (we didn't even need to use the sofa bed so that we were able to use the sofa as a gathering spot for our family! Everyone had some space for themselves - this was wonderful for our family!

It is a very practical hotel to visit the Universal parks since it is just a 15-20 minutes walk. The room is big, clean and calm (no problem with noise, especially at night). Most of the front desk staff was friendly and helpful

There is a free shuttle to the Universal parks but to our opinion there are not enough departures: the parks open at 9 am and there is only 1 shuttle that was already full when we tried to book it at 7am (the following one was only at 9:45am, so too late to enjoy the park fully). On our first night we arrived after 11pm and the only food option available in the lobby was overpriced and not so fresh (16$ for 1 salty snack and 2 yogurts). The parking is expensive (22$ + tax) and not aligned with prices displayed on Booking. In our opinion this should be given for free and included in the price of the hotel.

The breakfast at this hotel is great! My family don’t eat pork. When we was staying they had breakfast options my whole family can eat. I have never seen a hotel have turkey meat options for the people that don’t eat pork but they did. The location was great, it was fun all around, within close proximity. The room was just like the picture. It was nice and clean and fit my party size well. Although the whole trip was nice and the hotel was clean, the staff was friendly and professional. But the fact that they had non pork meat options was the icing on the cake for me to say I will return to this place!

There is not to much bad I can say about the hotel. If I had to put something maybe more entrances all around the building to enter in. So maybe having other doors to enter but you need to use your room key to open it and then more elevators to get to the rooms. Although the wait for elevators wasn’t bad.

The staff are always kind. We’ve stayed here 3 times now and have been pleased each time. This last time we showed up at 11 am to go ahead and park (you have to pay to park but it’s cheaper than paying to park at Universal) and we went inside and they actually had our room ready already!! It’s about a 22 min walk to Universal. They do have a shuttle if you can catch it. The breakfast is good. And we’ve enjoyed all of our stays here.

I wish we didn’t have to pay to park. I understand it is likely to keep people who are not staying there from parking there but maybe we could just get a parking pass?

The staff were so nice and always helpful. The pool was clean and warm and they always have towels available. The facility itself was very clean and beautiful. And the location was perfect for all the activities we planned for the week. And I just have to say, this is the first place we’ve stayed that the bed was actually comfortable.

I can’t think of anything I didn’t like.
