We loved the room size, the full kitchen, and the family room. It was nice to cook meals and not have to spend a lot of money at restaurants. The pool and hot tub were lovely, and the pool water was crystal clear. We liked being able to rent two beach chairs and an umbrella for $30 for the one day we spent on the beach. The staff were nice and helpful.

There isn't enough parking on the beachfront side. A couple of times we had to park on the other side and wait until a driver was kind enough to stop and let us cross the busy street.. Also, the fridge doesn't have an ice maker, only two ice trays with nothing to dump the ice in to fill the trays again. There isn't a free ice machine on the property. If you need ice to fill a cooler you have to buy a bag for $3.00.

Clean. A few signs of saltwater effects but that's to be expected after a few years of a buildings life right on the beach. Staff smiling and very friendly. Literally across the street from Gulf World, our destination, eating places and beach shops. Enjoyed direct access to the beach, and enjoyed the pool and hot tub. Room, with balcony and kitchen, spacious and accommodating with pull out couch and 2 queen beds. Very good water pressure for showers. No problem with air conditioning, one unit in bedroom area and another in dining, living area. Large TV in bedroom area and smaller, mounted TV in living area.

Elevator worked fine but noisy, especially door closing. Startling but worked fine.

Cute little vintage place without a lot of bells and whistles but overall decent for the price. Would definitely stay here again! Great location right on the beach with beautiful sunsets!!

A little vintage place that could use a little more TLC but overall we had a great stay. Kitchenette needs to be stocked a little better with a cutting knife, cookie sheet and a toaster at the very least! Wish signage would have been posted about no alcohol on the beach during March. Was clueless and got an expensive ticket! Would be helpful to have and I noticed all other hotels have something posted about it!

The staff was good except for a couple people location was good the fact they had two pools was a nice addition and it was within walking distance of a lot of places. The bar was a nice touch too it as well.

Our concrete patio was chipping away I needed up cutting my foot from the loose concrete our fridge had rust on the top of it our bathtub was a bit stained as well our kitchen tv didn’t work the elevator in the building also took a long time too get too your floor and made a very discomforting sound while moving just ended up taking the stairs the rest of the stay.

The beds were very comfortable and the view was great.

Definitely worth the price I paid! Even being in the end unit, it was only a short distance from the room to the elevator. There is a nice ramp going to the pool and maybe 12 stairs down to the sand. From there, it's about 100 feet to the WATER! The unit was clean upon arrival and the friendly staff brought fresh towels and TP daily. The unit was refreshingly free of any odors. Both AC units worked very well without smelling moldy like so many hotel units do.

The only inconvenience I encountered was the lack of a ramp to the beach. I had a loaded down beach wagon that was not exactly made for stairs. I am disabled and also not exactly made for stairs. That is my only hindrance from another stay here in the future.

We stayed October 17 for five days. The beds in this room were in 2 seperate rooms. Normally they have been in the same room. Either way is fine with us. It was a grls trip. The location is great. Half a mile walking distance to Pier Park.Across from Diegos Mexican bar with great food and drinks. Shuckums with karaoke is 2 doors down and Sharkeys restaurant is about 6 doors down. The staff is excellent. Mariah at the check in desk is extremely helpful, the other 2 ladies are wonderful too. We normally stay at the Radisson for the first 9 years. The last 3 visits have been at Flamingo. It's where we will keep staying. They have a linen exchange system we loved this time so you never run out of rags and towels. We didn't want maid service for our five days, so the trash sacks, linens, were all left outside in the exchange. The rates at Flamingo are what got me to change hotels. The service, cleanliness, fast elevator and location are what kept us coming back the past 3 visits. We didnt move my car for 4 days. Will definitely be there again.

Location and staff were great

It was in a great spot - never had to get in the car. The main room/bedroom was very nice - loved the lamp. Sofa was a little uncomfortable you slid into the middle. Would of been nice to have a small table to sit coffee on, and maybe a lamp. The over head light was great but very bright. And a little table on the balcony to sit your coffee cup on. When we come back I planned on bringing my own little table to use on the balcony. Other than that room was great. Also great water pressure.

Not much really - just what I mentioned above.

I like the location of The Flamingo. Right across from Diegos Mexican Restaurant, Shuckums is 2 doors down and Sharkeys within walking distance. The cleaning staff are friendly and the hotel will work with you if certain times are needed, or changes. The Flamingo also has its own bar and pizza cafe, Mingoes. Will stay here again.

The only thing to improve is that slow elevator. Not a big deal to me, but I was asked the question of what didnt I like. Great hotel.
