Great location

Both mornings, Saturday and Sunday morning we were woken by housekeeping, doing vacuuming and cleaning and banging loudly at 7-8am. Way too early to be disturbed on the weekend and when I mentioned it at check out the lady just stared at me! At very least say sorry you were disturbed, it was not a very customer service response.

Room furnishings were excellent; I appreciate a mini fridge with a freezer compartment; beach, dunes of course are wonderful and not spoiled by massive condo skyscrapers; pool area well maintained and great space to relax;

WiFi was consistently weak, a.m. & p.m. and eve

Guy Harvey is one of the most welcoming, not only to humans, but to our furry friends hotel that i have ever came across. Not to mention, I feel like i’m getting away with a steal with prices of being able to score a balcony overlooking the ocean compared to anywhere else you look at. This resort is in the absolute best location, where you aren’t in the middle of the city, and you can walk around and feel safe and go sit by the pool and just enjoy yourself, while also being able to walk just a few blocks if you want to visit a shop, grab a nice dinner, or just get some drinks. The housekeepers are also amazing, and every single day come in and emptied our trash and tucked in our beds for us. We had to call maintenance to come help with a toilet problem and a safe problem and for both issues they were there within less than 10 minutes. I can’t think of a bad thing to say about this place, which is honestly a rare occurrence in hospitality these days. I will be back next year, this has become an annual visit for me.

Nothing, It’s perfect!

The room was comfortable the restaurant was good.

I understand it is a pet friendly hotel but I think pets should be on certain floors, not all floors. I was on the 5th floor and on more than 1 occasion I was met with the same large dogs coming up the hall. The first time I was exiting the elevator and these dogs started barking at us, the owners had to pull them back and move to the corner where the ice machine is so we could pass and go to our room. I felt very uncomfortable with this. Every time the elevator opened I was afraid the dogs would be there.

Staff was great, restaurant was good. Right on the beach, so location was very good. Parking was a breeze. Shuttle bus to Sta Augustine was great.

Older hotel, not really a resort. It was nice to have outdoor bar but was disappointed that beach chairs and umbrella were rentals. Room was good but easy to hear anyone walking down the hall outside the room and conversations in the hallway were easy to overhear. Never have enjoyed staying at a hotel where there is over an inch of daylight showing under the door to the room. Noise will be there.

It was a great location with a nice pool and private beach access.

I didn’t like the beds they were uncomfortable, and my daughter found a fish hook and some other items under the bed from a previous stay. It was overpriced for the value.

We enjoyed the beachfront location and the free washer and dryer to do laundry before heading home was a big plus! The room was clean and kept up by the staff each day. Pool towels were also provided as well. We also loved the lobby area and the restaurant was also good. Front desk staff was also very friendly and helpful with everything.

There wasn't much regarding the hotel that we didn't like. There were a few people close to us at the pool and on the beach, staying at the hotel, that smelled strongly of weed. With my kids being there, and having to answer questions about the smell, I wasn't too pleased with that. There was also an man wearing (what looked like) an ankle monitor, which I don't think was staying at the hotel, that came and got in the pool and "hung" out around the hotel a few days that looked homeless.

Location was great. Right on the beach, so you didn't have to drive to find a parking lot. Great restaurant in the hotel. Also, great restaurants close by the hotel. Short driving distance to historic district.

If you were not out of your room by the time they were at your door to clean your room for the day, they would not come back. And being that it's a pet friendly hotel, when they are in the hallway they should try to be a little quieter near pet occupied rooms.

Gas smell near gas meter and laundry room. I reported to maintenance man and he said it was coming from dryers in laundry. I worked in all levels of gas industry for 40 years and it is not normal for the strong smell of gas in a laundry room. I am going to report it to the gas company serving the resort. I hope they will make sure everyone is safe.

Lovely place! The pool area is very nice and you walk through a gazebo from the pool area to gain easy access to the beach. The pool hut is available for pool towels (free), or beach chair set-up (for a fee). The restaurant onsite was very good too (breakfast, lunch or dinner). You could catch the Beach Bus to take you into the historic district (fee for tour). The drive into the old town, historic district is not far if you had your own car. There is also a grocery not too far where you can get a few things to keep in your room, like water or other things for the fridge. We had an oceanfront view room which was really nice. The balcony had 2 chairs and a table. The exercise room was nice and the grounds were clean and well maintained.

The only thing we didn't like is the tap water in this area of FL is not that great, but that is all over, not just at the resort. It is not the fault of the resort. I would recommend going to the grocery store, which is only a few miles away, to stock up on water.
