The location was perfect… we were within walking distance to Historic Old Town St Augustine! The Night of Lights Trolly Station was only a block away! Once we parked at the motel we never had to move our vehicle. We walked all over town to admire the Christmas ambiance! The motel owners & staff are very accommodating and kind. The facility is old but the location makes up for it!! We loved our stay… and will stay at the Castillo Inn each time we visit St Augustine!

The location was very close to the historic district, and while the motel was under renovation, the staff went out of their way to make things comfortable.

Clean, comfortable and close to where I needed to be for the Eric Church gig. Friendly fast check in and out. Hotel was basic but clean and exactly what I needed for 1 night. Value for money compared to some of the other options which were 400 / 500 for a single night.

There was no sign on the building to show where the hotel was. There wasn't any trash cans in the room. Our TV remote wouldn't turn the TV on/off or adjust the volume.

We like staying here when we come in town to see Blistur at Tradewinds! Perfect walking distance.

Once the air didn't work well in our assigned room. However, the manager on duty immediately moved us to a better room.

Everything was great.

My only discomfort was the door lock would not latch. So I just had that little four inch chain. Office personnel said they would follow up and have it looked at. TV Very small and low to the ground, Making it difficult to watch and enjoy.

Every time we visit St. Augustine, we stay at the Castillo Inn. It's inexpensive and close to the historic district and attractions. It's a 'cheesy' old fashioned Florida motel and I absolutely love it!

The room could have had a coffee maker, but, oh well.

Room was nice-sized and despite being very near road, it was quiet. Staff were friendly. Location was perfect for the plans we had (walking around St. Augustine).

The room was very bright; there needed to be a curtain over the blinds. It was very apparent the rooms were being refurbished and ours was in the "in-between" stage.

Always friendly staff to greet you. They have been updating the beds, and the bathrooms, and it looks great. Our door was a bit shoddy, but we didn't leave anything valuable in the room. I believe they are updating the doors as well. Some looked better than ours.

We didn't "not" like anything. Everything was what we expected, as this is always our go to booking when in St. Augustine. I would love a small coffee maker in the room, but that's just me as I love coffee in the morning. It was close to the restaurant "Sunday's", so I had my coffee there instead.

The room was very clean and the location was very close to the downtown area. We walked everywhere we needed to go. It was the perfect cheap room that we only used for sleeping.

I think it was perfect for what we needed.
