Location

They were under remodel, no signage or notification this was happening. At 8:00 am is when the workers for the remodel began. The front desk was always unattended, if you wanted something from the hotel store you were either honest and just left money on the front desk or just steal the items. If you spoke to a staff member they didn’t acknowledge you.

The room was clean and the bed was comfortable. Was in a nice area with a few shops and eateries. We were only 3-4 blocks from Francis Field so we could walk and not have to deal with the traffic or parking.

The room held a funny odor but not too bad. I am a little sensitive to it. The AC worked well. Our room was never made up and we stayed 3 nights. Got clean towels from front desk and were told the 2nd day that our room was scheduled (?) to be made up, but never happened. My only complaint. They did compensate me by not charging $22 per day for parking.

Nobody wants just bagels for breakfast. You could do it better add some eggs and sausages.

The pool is so small and looks old.

The hotel is located within easy walking distance of several attractions and destinations including the historic district, the Castillo de San Marcos fort, and the Ripley's Believe it or Not museum. We barely had to drive at all during our entire stay which is a blessing because parking is at a premium in this area of St. Augustine, and the traffic is a bit chaotic.

The room was advertised as being a suite with a balcony but it was a standard room without one. I may have misread the listing, but it was perfectly serviceable for our single-night stay. Perhaps the listing could be made more clear in the future.

Location is close to attractions. Clean, comfortable rooms and central areas. Staff was friendly. Continental breakfast provided. 24 hour coffee and tea. Convenient hygiene items, shampoo, soaps and lotion provided.

Expensive pay to park at the hotel, ice machines only on higher floors. No ice buckets or ice bucket liners in the room. Pool was too warm, had debris and not enough shade umbrellas and one was broken. No hot items for breakfast.

Is clean, the renovation is well done. It is a comfortable bed. The location is great.

The fact that I was charged 20$ more than the price that I originally made the reservation for the room here in booking. And also the parking is 22$, Not 15$. So I feel like it wasn’t completely honest. Since I never had that experience with the booking system before. I always get charged what booking.com says in any other hotel. But is a good hotel after all.

Front desk staff needs to be more friendly

The property is being remodeled and it is looking very good, the best thing is its location walking close to everything and with its paid parking but it is worth it.

The property is good but the dining room was not functioning as offered and the staff is not well prepared to receive and treat tourists who do not speak English even though it is a tourist site that attracts people, especially Spanish speakers. Nowadays there are many tools to translate and that is why I do not justify it.

Very clean and tidy and looks like it has been recently refurbished. Central location where you can walk to everything the city has to offer. Lots of parking ($15 per car per day - expensive but worth it! Good luck finding parking anywhere else). Come here if you don't care for service and you just want a great location and good facilities.

Short staffed (Christmas/New Year period) and staff were clearly burned out and visibly distressed - this in turn was passed onto the customer service which was terrible. Room was not ready when we arrived, dropped our bags off and returned later and it was done. Note: Room was immiculate and we also recognise staff shortages everywhere at the moment, but costs nothing to smile at customers. Air-conditioner/heater from the room above us was noisy and could be heard from our room. VERY slow check-in process, heightened by the lack of staff. The elevator was broken when we got there, but we were on the 2nd floor so it was not a problem. Water was expensive at $4 for a small bottle (almost price gouging). Bring your own drinking water!!

The location was excellent! Room was clean and spacious.

The common areas in the hotel were not clean. The public restroom was dirty and the elevator had a spill that was not cleaned up and was drying.
