I thought the location was great. The people at the front desk were helpful and arranged for the hop-on hop-off bus. I could get to pretty much everything that I wanted to see just in the area.

Denny's could have had more menu items actually be available. I was very surprised when they did not have iced tea on hand.

Very friendly staff. Clean chk in area and love that the restaurant is on site. Staff of Denny's was extremely polite, courteous and meal delivery when ordered was HOT and FRESH. The room itself was very clean, beds and pillows super comfy. Shower was clean and updated as well. Only issue was... there were several roaches running and scattering around which seemed to be coming from under the mini fridge and dresser, that we must have disturbed when using the mini fridge...which barely cooled. Other then that, great place to stay, clean, affordable and pool was very clean and nice as well.

This is my thirtieth year staying there, which I believe pretty much says it all. The place is my 'home' in St. Augustine, usually twice a year.

My only complaint is their reservation system. As per my usual, I attempted to make reservations during October of last year, only to find out they weren't taking any after Thanksgiving weekend 2024. So, for the first time, we stayed elsewhere. When it became apparent that our planned two day trip into town would be completed in one day, I got on the site and found there reservation system was up and running again, so we ended up staying there one night. Not sure what we'll be doing next year, because we were real happy with the alternate reservations.

I have stayed in the Days Inn on ponce de leon in Saint Augustine for years. I love ❤️ everything about my experience. It is a great area to just relax or find the most interesting things to do. I would advise people to check it out they won't be sorry. Village Inn is of walking distance from the hotel. The food is great and the service is awesome as well. I could go on & on but I will let you form your own opinion from this point. Thank you Patricia 😊

The room was renovated and it looked fantastic. I loved the photo mural above the bed of the Lions Bridge. The shower was great and the TV remote was easy to work. I loved having Denny's right there. It makes it a step up location wise for me.

The ice maker was not working on the first floor so we had to find the one on the other side of the building. Not horrible, but late at night I didn't want to venture out that far. The shower did not have hot water, it was luke warm, but not cold.

The location was great, right in the heart of St. Augustine--going for walks in the area was amazing. The room was really clean, the beds were comfortable and the staff were helpful. The wifi was also fantastically fast! There were lots of beautiful birds and lizards in the area, also there was an onsite Denny's which was fun!

There wasn't a kettle in the room, only a small 'coffee maker' which would very slowly boil only a single cups worth of water at a time--and even without coffee in it, it made my tea have a faint taste of coffee. Also while this might be more of a regional or area issue, the water both had an unpleasant taste and smell when showering. To clarify, the water was crystal clear! But we definitely stuck to bottled water.

My annual review of this motel: I stay here every year when I come down for Searle's Raid (I'm one of the re-enactors) and have stayed here annually since 1996 because the place is this good. Gorgeous room, it obviously was on last year's refurbishment cycle. The staff was quite helpful, just as they've pretty much always been. The in-house Denny's was used quite often, it's part of the reason I stay here.

Five days into the stay, there was a large bug crawling across our floor. We gished it and flushed it down the toilet. Problem dealt with. Note to non-Floridians: This is Florida. Bugs abound. Occasionally one will get into your room. Deal with it. At no point should you take this as a complaint regarding the cleanliness of the room - the room was in excellent condition, properly cleaned and maintained, etc. Call it law of averages. I think I found a bug in my room around 5-7 years ago, too, so everything was normal.

Hotel was obviously very old, but had alot of recent attention. Freshly painted inside and out, new flooring in rooms, recently resurfaced parking areas. Had plenty of parking for our 40' rig! Definitely not found in many places. Cameras everywhere, all areas surrounding the hotel were very well lit up at night time. Extremely quiet at night. Cleaning staff came in everyday, without having to make a special request. The Dennys on location had great staff and very good breakfast food. Easy walking distance to all the shops. I have stayed in higher rated/priced hotels and definitely not had as nice a stay.

Location was great, room was clean and comfortable. Bathroom shower area looked like it was recently updated, very nice. I would stay there again. Thanks!

The bathroom was lacking a soap dish and/or a place to set personal toiletries in the shower, very ample shower. The soap provided was a very small piece, didnt last long. Maybe a liquid dispenser would be better. Although the bathroom was updated, they forget to upgrade the sink and faucet. Looked aged and dirty. A blanket/cover was needed in the room, it was a cold weekend. Thanks!

It had a dennys, not far to walk to town if necessary and very quiet liked the fact it had houses opposite felt safe !!

The room little dark need more lighting, bathroom door was very hard to close and had to push it shut real hard. Then it popped open anyway. Front door handle didn’t feel real secure from outside!!
