The hotel itself is on the beach and the access is great. While we didn’t utilize the pool, it was pretty and there is a hot tub and fire pit area there as well. The balcony gave us a beautiful view of the ocean. The rooms are clean and spacious.

There is a $30 per night destination fee is kind of excessive. The paper handed out at check in that gives the times of breakfast is incorrect, it stated the Starbucks bistro opens at 6:30 but upon our arrival after watching the sun rise on the beach, we were told it opens at 7:00. There is only one bank of elevators in the center of the building, so if you’re on the outer ends, the stairs are closer. The bed was pretty firm, so if you’re used to a softer mattress, you may wake up kind of sore.

The property was very nice. Landscaping was appealing especially around the pool and dunes. Nice atmosphere Shore restaurant was very nice with a good menu and the food was very good. We ate a lot of our meals there. Better breakfast options would be nice. Very pet friendly, we had two dogs and it was never any trouble getting around the hotel with them

Water pressure! There was none. I get saving water but it was near impossible for my wife to wash her hair. May be because we were on the 4th floor but it was a struggle to shower. It has one little jacuzzi by a very large pool. We were there in late October so the pool wasn’t being used but the jacuzzi was. It was always too crowded in the evening to enjoy it so we never tried. Needs better lighting the in dog walk area. Just one yellow light way in the back so I could barely see my tan dog and could not see my black one at all. Kinda difficult to pick up after them while holding them and a light. Would be an easy fix.

Beautiful location and facilities. It is clean and comfortable. Loved using the free bikes, whenever I wanted. Liked that it had free shuttle service as well. I splurged for an ocean view room with a balcony. The view was great and I enjoyed sitting on the balcony. I had to turn off the A/C in my room when I was out there, so the fan wasn’t running. No biggie. Some balcony rooms have a better view than others. Mine was head on, which I liked. I couldn’t see the sunrise from my spot, but wanted to do that from the beach anyway. I absolutely loved Jekyll Island and will be back for sure.

Only a few minor things I didn’t like. One of those flashing, safety, fire detectors is right in the main room and needed to be covered with a sock to keep the room dark - as I said, minor. Also, I personally would have much preferred a free breakfast over the $10 credit for snacks and Starbucks each day. The Residence Inn part has breakfast, but the Courtyard part doesn’t. It wasn’t clear to me where the distinction between rooms was within the hotel, but I maybe should try the Residence side next time if I want that feature. A few times, the garbage cans were overflowing near the outdoor facilities, but overall it was very clean.

Super location on the beach and within walking distance along the beach to the new center town Once you reach the new town there is a boardwalk runs all along the beach front of the island with multiple public rest areas and parking The hotel was clean but the only thing I wasn’t thrilled about was the food however there are many other options in the local area Hotel bikes are free so we took a trip to explore the old historic area and it was beautiful Overall super experience

When I booked I booked a beach/ocean view room. When I went to room after checkin, it was not a beach or ocean view room. Room by parking lot. So went back to desk and they stated room we were supposed to have had AC outage and there were no more ocean view rooms available. However, they did not bother to tell me that upon checkin. And normally hotels have onsite maintenance to take care of issues like AC. I was noo pp t happy about that especially since i made reservation to recoup from some surgery and just wanted to be able to look out at ocean or easily access the beach area. They did adjust my rate.

The hotel was located on the Island and was just a short walk out of hotel and your on the beach .They are pet friendly

There is a $30.00 per a day resort / destination fee which is really high considering how much they charge a night to stay there .They do give you $30.00 per a day credit you can use at the resort in there little market for drinks, or at the Starbucks which is not good at all if you don't use it you lose it .

Breakfast was excellent. Shuttle and bike rental too. You can walk to the downtown/convention center area. The front desk reception could not be any nicer. Entertainment was provided Saturday evening in the lobby eating area. Starbucks is in the lobby. (limited hours) The elevators were rocket fast. Slept like a log. My daughter had work to do. She sat in a lobby booth and was able to work from there. Plenty of electric charging parking spots. Thank you.

No ATM in the lobby for cash. (Helpful for tipping the maids. ) There are no valets and not enough carts to help you bring your items back to the car during checkout time. The grass should be cut across the road next to the sidewalk. My puppy was full of painful spiked burrs in his hair and feet.

I paid for a room with 2 queen beds and then did a upgrade (more $$) to a full ocean view room with a balcony. They had us in a room in the corner looking at other balconies and there was only a king bed. The staff said basically it was our problem for booking through a 3rd party(meaning booking.com) and there was nothing he could do. The fan didn't work in the bathroom, and light bulbs were out. Also the balcony looked like it hadn't been cleaned in awhile.

Meals and drinks were very good..bed was comfy..pool and hot tub excellent and clean..beach wasn't crowded..TV channels were adequate ...amenities were easily accessible ..bartenders/servers were awesome

Not much..Trash cans around pool needed emptied..pool towels weren't available..called on Tues to request top floor room they said no problem but no request was found at check in on fri..destination fee comp was a bit confusing and didn't know about the comp part..everything else was great..ocean was muddy never seen that before

Communication with front desk before arrival. I called to ask if in room coffee machine took Keurig pods and was assured it would. Because of that information I did not bring my own Keurig just pods. On arrival in my room I found the information I had been given was incorrect! However the front desk staff graciously sent a bottle of champagne to our room after our daughter called and said my husband and I were celebrating our 80th birthdays. This was very kind and much appreciated.
