The location is great. We were able to walk to restaurants and shops. Complimentary breakfast was good. Clean pools and nice beach.

This is an older model hotel, so the entrance to the room was off the street. We prefer an inside entrance, where someone has to first gain entrance to the hotel and not just walk up to your door from the parking lot/street. This is a two story hotel, while there is an elevator in the lobby, there wasn’t anything near our room , so we had to lug our bags upstairs. Cell phone reception wasn’t good so you had to either stand outside or by a window and that’s where the air conditioners were and they were really loud.

The hotel is beautiful. The spa and whirlpool pool was my favorite amenity. Also the heated pool. Breakfast staff and food was awesome. The cleaning staff was amazing and so sweet. The access to the beach was absolutely perfect.

This is a beautiful vacation spot during the week but on the weekends the patrons have free run and will hold loud conversations, waking you at the crack of dawn. It would be nice if signs were posted to respect other guests sleep. It is a vacation after all. The major issue I had was the parking of two very large buses that created a very dangerous blind spot at the entrance of the hotel.

Clean. Close to area attractions and we easily walked to the beach. Breakfast was early enough for us early risers, but late enough for those that wish to sleep in. Quiet at night.

You could tell the property was old. Lobby, cafe, and elevator decor was VERY dated. It gave no indication of how nice the rooms were. The elevator was very small, hot, and rickety. We had a dresser drawer that would constantly open by itself. The room door had to be slammed to close. Embarrassing at 6:30am. I wish we had been told about the island “entry fee” as we paid for three days and only left once. We paid too much. At least it went to a good cause.

A walkway right onto the beach. And rinse off water right after the beach. The pools right before the beach access. Nearby to walk or rent a bike to the shops or places to eat.Very clean rooms, had body soap and shampoo & conditioner in large bottles attached to the shower if you forgot to bring, the beds were very confrontable. Had pool towels to use for the pool only. Had a small refrigerator and coffee pot & microwave no carpet inside the rooms. and the outside grounds & pool were clean, and trash very well kept up. The staff & front desk, nice and friendly. Had a very good breakfast selection well stock items. Decent price for the location and parking. I will return for my next stay in jekyll Island.

Only had one elevator that was very small located at the front office. Could not hold no more than 4 people or a lot of luggage. Did not have another elevator on the other side of the hotel, just steps if you're on the second floor. needs an upgrade or book your stay on the bottom floor if you have difficulty walking up the stairs.

Love that it’s right on the beach and the two pools (plus small hot tub and kiddie pool) that overlooked the beach. Love that it also has a fire pit to enjoy (perfect for an October night). The continental breakfast had a good variety of foods.

There wasn’t any red film available for flashlights to use on the beach at night and it says there’s pool towels, but not once did I ever see a bin of towels at either pool (and I looked). Ants were EVERYWHERE! Parking lots, pools, grass—- it needs an exterminator to rid the property of these!

Very beautiful colors inside the checking in area. They even had a water station for guests. It was very much appreciated and needed as we were checked in. Very clean and organized. Our room was very clean and there were even extra towels if needed if we went to the beach. Very thoughtful. The breakfast area was on the second floor. I first thought that's crazy. But come to find out. It was very great because there was a great view from there to the beach. We loved it. The outside was great, very clean. And a few things to do. We loved it. We will be back. Thank you so much for making our weekend getaway great. 💕

The elevator was very small and noisy

The check-in & check-out staff were friendly, kind, & helpful. Great manager. The breakfast staff were excellent & the hot breakfast was great. Too bad they did not serve a lunch/dinner menu. Housekeeping great as well

The hotel staffer transferred a scammer to my room & my family's room around 12:30 am on the first day of our arrival. It was a little scary. Thank the Lord for alerting us to realize it was a scammer plus it interrupted our sleep. The person said they were calling from Wyndham Corporate office. I reported it to hotel manager & Wyndham Corp. Office the next day. The friendly manager apologized. I just do not want it to happen to anyone else because most hotel guests were seniors.

My Husband and I had a great stay for 3 nights. Check in was smooth and the staff was friendly. Our room was oceanfront with a nice view. The bed was comfortable and the bathroom was spotless. Housekeeping came everyday and did a great job tidying up and restocking. Breakfast every morning was 6am-10am, it was very good and had a lot of options to choose from. Pancakes, eggs, bacon, omelets, muffins, breads, oatmeal, cereals, juices, coffees, hot chocolate, etc. We checked out online which was very convenient not having to stop at the front deck on our way out. Overall we had a great stay and will definitely be back in the future!

Super friendly staff, ESPECIALLY the breakfast gals. Spacious breakfast area and decent variety. Please consider adding non-pork breakfast meats to selections. LOVED being able to go between beach and pool - pool and beach. TWO pools are clean and well-maintained. The entire property, actually, is well maintained and it's clean. On-site "general store" and vending. Bike rentals right next door. GREAT LOCATION!

The feel of the rooms was....shall I say institutional? Not cozy. Not welcoming. Harsh lighting.

Our room was spacious, clean and beautifully decorated, our view of the ocean was gorgeous, our bed was very comfortable, our a/c was powerful and handled the heat and humidity fabulously. From the evening we checked in until the morning we checked out, everyone was very kind and helpful. Breakfast was amazing. We had scrambled eggs, oatmeal, pancakes, cereal, muffins, bagels, yogurt, milk, juice and coffee every morning with either breakfast sausage, bacon or sausage links. Our stay was lovely and we are eager to go back.

It is difficult to find food on the island after 8:30 pm... not the facility's fault but everyone needs to know that very few restaurants are open until 9:00 pm so plan accordingly.
