I love the receptionist. that works the night shift. That checked me in on friday. When I got there, she was a joy to be around, and she took good care of me and my family. And she cared about the customers. And? She carried a lovely and beautiful smile on her face. Every time i came in contact with her. She was very helpful when I asked questions. And she explained everything to me when I checked in my room on Friday. and she made sure we had everything and we were comfortable even though. The guy, the ballhead guy at the front desk, had already given our room away to another customer.She tried to make sure we were comfortable even though I did not get the room that I made reservations on.. Called ahead of time, letting them know i was going to be late, but I was still coming.

The dishonesty man at the front desk was trying to take advantage. He was very rude. I just didn't have a good feeling about him.. And he gave my room away to another customer. I had already called and let the hotel know that I was going to be late.. And he was very racist. He charged my card twice for the same purchase and tried to tell me that my card was declining. on his end. And I know that it wasn't because I called my bank. The purchase was pending twice on my account. He was very dishonest, and I did not trust him at all . 🤥🤥😒🫤😕.

It was a quiet area and the room was clean. The staff was nice and helpful. We loved the complimentary breakfast that included a choice of juice, Coffee, bagels, make your own waffles, toast, scrambled eggs, ham or sausage, muffins, etc.

The room had a damp feeling (like they just washed the rug and the room was closed without the AC on), and the beach is across the street but you have to walk behind another hotel and then down a short boardwalk/sidewalk, so quite a walk with all you bring with you (we forgot our cart but you can rent a wagon at the hotel but they don’t have beach towels to use).

Shower - Huge and great - brand new, two different shower heads) but there was no place to place soap and shampoo, washcloth, etc. Staff - excellent, very helpful and pleasant

Room was great - only mild complaints would be the sink stopper in bathroom was not connected to the lift device and was stuck in closed position. I pulled it out and it was gross with black stuff and hair. I left it out for my stay as was inconvenient at the time to call front desk and have fixed - the staff is great and am sure that they would have responded asap... just didn't call as wasn't that big of a deal and just saying this review so mgmt can address.

The Beach, the ocean, the History, the Scenery, the Driftwood, the Live Oak trees with moss blowing in the breeze and everyone we encountered on the island was so nice and accommodating. We very much enjoyed the very delicious complimentary HOT breakfast both mornings. The options were endless and everything was great.....except that sugar free fruit punch. Lol. Overall, it was a 5 star mini getaway weekend.

We didn't get to stay as long as we would've liked. Maybe next time! The bathroom needs more bright (LED) lighting over the vanity for people who can't see without a lot of light. And a mirror over the coffee/microwave station. Not complaining, just typing my thoughts.

We ended up with a king suite thanks to a booking.com “genius” upgrade and it was HUGE. Really nice to have a sink, stove top, and basic kitchenware. The front desk staff, Jessie, couldn’t have been nicer or more accommodating. Bed was soft and comfy. In addition to a well working AC, bedroom had a ceiling fan, which is always a rare, and nice bonus.

Walls were thin enough that we could easily heard the couple next door arguing loudly late at night, as well as their dog occasionally barking. Clearly not a fault of the hotel, but just good for light sleepers to be aware as you can’t control your what other guests might be nearby.

Beach access was easy with 6 kids Breakfast was great

Our room had fresh animal excrement on the carpet. And smelled horrible so for 2 days we kept a towel over that spot on the floor. The kitchen was not full of meal serving utensils or silverware The floors were dirty and our room had 1 of 3 tvs working. The pull out bed should have had sheets and blankets and a set of 2 pillows. However it was bare mattress. When we brought it to the staffs attention we were told they ran out. But in my opinion when you are paying for a room that sleeps 8 The room should sleep 8!!! And the beds should all come with covers regardless. We also had no lights in the ki g room because the remote was missing. So that was fun

Not so much the property but we stayed in a room that had 2 rooms with an extra sitting area with a pull out couch. It had a different thermostat for each room (3 total), but the issue was they all had to be set on the same thing. If one person was freezing the next room would be burning up if the first person turned the heat up. It would have been a perfect stay if each room could change from cool to heat.

The front desk was excellent. My rooms were apart and I don't know what they did but they got me right together. They made sure we were good with the rooms during our stay as well. And the beach was walking distance which made it even better. The rooms were clean and the pillows were soft. Will definitely be back.

The sink started overflowing but it was ok because we checked out the same day. I just didn’t want to leave it like that.

We're a family of 3, one being a teenager, plus 2 dogs. Everyone was super friendly from the very first time I stepped into the lobby. We ended up extending and booked through the hotel instead of the booking site and the rates were so much better. The rooms are clean and well-stocked. We stayed in one separate bedroom with two queen beds and a pull-out sectional couch in the living area. There was a semi-full kitchen, no oven but two full-size range tops, a full sink, a dishwasher, a full-size refrigerator, dishes, a coffee pot, a microwave, and plenty of cabinet space for our extended stay. The helpful staff at the front also supplied us with the few amenities we had forgotten, without any issue. The rooms were extremely spacious and offered us a comfortable place to rest while here, even with our larger family. The breakfast each morning was delicious, and the staff was very helpful in giving us directions and advice on what to do while there. I would definitely recommend this as a place to stay for a large family vacation ( the room had an adjacent room attached) or just a place to comfortably rest your head for the night.

The AC unit in the main room was stuck on Celcius and we could not figure out how to change it to Fahrenheit. The ceiling fan in the bedroom didn't work, but we had fans from home and the central air was at a comfortable temperature when we arrived, so that wasn't too big of a concern. The only thing that is a real pain is the cost of getting onto the island. It's 10$ a day per vehicle, or 100$ for a year pass. Since we stayed more than 10 days, we opted for the yearly pass, which was discounted to 90$ since we had already paid for a one-day pass. I feel as if I am staying on the island, especially on a trip or vacation, an island pass should be included with pricing. That isn't the hotel's fault, just an observation.

I loved everything about my stay here! The staff was amazing!!! This will be my go to when staying on the island. Great place with affordable rates! And did I mention that hotel staff was amazing! From the hotel manager to the maintenance guy! You don't find such great customer service much these days! So when I experience this type of customer service, these folks will have my business!
