The hotel was great and close to many stores and restaurants. The room was spacious and comfortable, and breakfast was good. East Beach is close and it's nice for relaxing and swimming. Driftwood Beach on Jekyll Island (30 min away) is magical and a great place for pictures, especially at sunset or sunrise.

I loved that breakfast was included. The only thing I would suggest is to offer more fresh products. Instead whole oranges and bananas, it would be lovely to have fruit salads, sliced tomatoes and avocados.

I chose this location because of the rave reviews it received, it lived up to them all. They did not disappoint. The breakfast was scrumptious during our stay as well. If I'm back in the area I will stay there again. Thanks Hampyon Inn, your staff and accommodations were excellent.

The only minus I have for this stay was the toilet sat too low, that's all.

Clean and quiet. Beds comfy. Loved restaurants were close to hotel. Walked to dinner and donuts😄

First key given was to a room occupied. Surprised myself and occupants! Had to get another key/room. AC seemed not working right. Was cold in day and warmer at night even though temperature was the same. I am allergic to hornets and there were a few constantly in pool area. I booked on Booking.com and final price was higher.

The front desk staff had no idea what they were doing. First, we were ignored because we arrived when they were talking. When we didn't go away, they told us we had a 4 night stay (we only had a 1 night stay), so that took two people to figure out they were looking at the wrong thing. Then, the room wasn't ready, so we were told to leave and come back. We sat in the lobby and miraculously, the room was ready. Staff didn't seem to care or make any effort to do anything. The hotel itself was fine.

Hire a better front desk staff.

Honestly, I’ve stayed in that location, probably four or five times and the entrance via these major potholes in front of some derelict building is ridiculous and I mean… Terrible! That’s really is the only flaw(fly) .. in the ointment. You really should do something about that. I’ve never seen such a restrictive, limited, potentially dangerous entrance to any Hampton Inn. Thank you.

We stayed here years ago and the hotel was better than it was. Breakfast was very good but there was not any packs of Mayo to make my breakfast sandwich. Other than that there was a very good selection of food. The location on the island was fine since we were not going to the beach. The mirrors in the room were very helpful in getting dressed. I really appreciated the ottoman that could be rolled around.

The receptionist was a little short answering my questions like I had interrupted her but that wasn’t a big problem. She did fail to tell me there was a $15 incidental fee added to the total and that it would be refunded so I had to make a trip to the desk and ask why was there a difference in my room total and my credit card charge. I expect the refund to show up soon per her explanation.

I was really looking forward to a cookie when I arrived and was disappointed that they have them only on Thurs, Fri, Sat. Also, the overall lighting in the room was in adequate. I wish there had been a floor lamp by the armchair. It was too dark in the corner where the chair was located to comfortably sit and read.

I love this place. It's located in the perfect spot. Close to the beaches and great eatery. The staff is awesome and catered to my every want and need.

There is absolutely nothing not to like about this location.

Great location and it was clean and quiet at night. We would definitely stay here again and I would highly recommend this place to anyone.

Location, price, cleanliness

Hotel clerk that checked us in was not helpful. When asked about what restaurants were in walking distance, she said “ I have no idea, thats what the maps are for”. That is totally unacceptable, and one can only hope she was a temp or fill-in
