I liked the design of the room the art displayed in the room it was very well color schemes and much more like a home away from home .. the best experience of professional staff I have ever experienced also I felt such a seclusion from the world I felt safe and it was awesome the hospitality of the owner and his staff also the scenery the view was amazing I will definitely be booking a longer stay in the near future.. I didn't have a room with a balcony and not having a clear understanding of what all activities available

The grounds were immaculate and very secure. Accessible to historic pier and otter areas of interest. Very, very comfortable bed and pillows. Guest services staff were exceptional.

There was a mixup in the type of room I had booked. I think that happened because I had made a request to be near the elevator and the King Suite was farther away. The reservation must have defaulted to the special request but Tiffany handled it quickly and smoothly with superb hospitality.

We only stayed one night before our month-long rental elsewhere on the island to explore whether Sea Palms would be an alternative for a longer stay. The rooms are beautiful with all the amenities expected, but one we don’t see often outside urban areas, a safe in the room.

That we had to lug our bags up three floors to our room. The receptionist didn’t offer very good directions to the room, either, and the numbering system is very confusing. A property map indicating where the rooms are would be useful. Also, we received a 10% off voucher for meals in the restaurant, but it wasn’t open for breakfast, and if it was open for dinner is uncertain as it said Sold Out on the online reservation system that I tried several days before arriving. Also, it would have been nice to know that the driving range was no longer available as this was one of the reasons we stayed there.

The room was clean and in very good condition. Smoke detector was in need of a battery upon our arrival and the maintenance guys showed up to take care of it very quickly.

The communication about the shuttle was unclear and is not managed very well. We waited almost 2 hours for the driver to return and when he did, he clocked out and was finished driving. Would have made alternate arrangements had the gal not kept telling us "don't worry, he'll take you". I believe she meant well but at the end of the day, it kinda ruined our night.

The entire experience was beyond my wildest expectations. I was treated like a person wants to be treated above and beyond. From Allison to Aaron, G, and the shuttle driver at Sago. The 'Rider Band' with married couple Chris and Laura sang every genre of music to please everyone. My room was perfect. The outside space was well maintained and gorgeous. There is nothing negative about my pleasant time with Sea Palms Resort. Hospitable, professional, personable, and very thorough with each and every detail of your stay. A literal breath of fresh air. ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐

Not one thing. I loved it all.

The property is beautiful. Right on the golf course and marsh area. The room was great, and very spacious. We got a room with the kitchenette and it was perfect for us since we had a 1 year old with us.

Walls are very thin, you can hear everyone walking around, opening and closing doors.. just not very quiet. Also, we were on the third floor and my husband opened the window to find no screens on window. That could be a safety issue in the future.

Really enjoyed our stay here! The room was much larger than we thought! It was extremely clean. The view was amazing! The entire marsh was right at our window.

They closed the pool and restaurant on Sunday after 4p for their staffs end of the summer party. Normally, we wouldn't have had a problem with this but no one told us this was going to happen. When you have to get kids around and go to a pool to find it closed it isn't a good thing. Please communicate better if the amenities will not be accessible.

We were stopping over on our way to Florida. The resort was lovely. Our room was not quite ready at the check-in time, but one of the employees was really great at keeping us informed. Once we got our room, it was really great, so clean with updated furnishings and exceptional lighting features. We appreciated the coffee and tea selections and the refrigerator in the room.

We were really tired from a long drive in bad weather. It would have been great to be able to check in and get into our room when we arrived.

Location was great, about 15 min from the pier, but only 7 min from Red Fern Village which also has plenty of cute restaurants and shops. Staff was super friendly and accommodating. They let us bring 3 friends (who weren’t staying at the resort) to the resort pool at no extra cost. Rooms Were new, and clean with a great view of either the golf Course or marsh and with high ceilings. Would definitely recommend to anyone looking to stay on St Simone island.

We loved our spacious room and accomodations were nice. Our view of the marsh was beautiful and located near all things we needed/wanted to do. The resort had extra events to entertain the kids since it was a holiday weekend. The staff was super nice and accommodating! We will be back soon!

There was only one buggy to load luggage on. We had to make many trips from the third floor to load all our luggage in 90 degree weather.
