Location. Breakfast. Weekday breakfast attendant was wonderful. Efficient, friendly, on the ball. Saturday's attendant sat on a stool in the kitchen doorway and slept! She kept nodding off and waking herself up. Tables went unsanitized when guests left after eating. We would never hire her!

Saturday's breakfast attendant. We were in room 210. Parking was problematic for unloading our luggage. My husband uses a cane and there were steps with no handrail that he had to navigate, as well as lifting luggage up 3 steps and onto the 1 luggage cart you have so we could get to the elevator. Same problem when we departed. Also, no daily room cleaning. Garbage emptied after 2 days, but dirty washcloths not taken away, or beds straightened. For the price, I expected more.

Checking in was smooth and easy. The lady at the desk was very informative about some questions we had. She was very personable. I wish I could remember her name to give her a big "thank you." Our room was very clean and neat upon our arrival. It has just been updated and was very nice. The breakfast was hot and constantly being kept fresh and the area was kept clean. The cleaning ladies were very accommodating and wanted to be sure we had everything we needed - towels, soap, etc.

I cannot say that any improvements neede to be made at this time. I will definitely stay here again when I am in the area.

Overall experience was great! Very Clean Facility! Breakfast was great both mornings & we really enjoyed the waffle maker! The lady working the breakfast room was the best, she had the most wonderful attitude and was very friendly and helpful. Loved the location of our room, we were located in front of the pool (towels were provided at pool for you to dry off when finished), and beside the parking lot, & also located next to the doggie park which made it very convenient. Staff was very friendly and went above and beyond to help with any needs! Overall, I would give it a 9 out of 10!

Only thing I saw wrong was there was one lady whom I believe must have been over housekeeping that was talking to her staff (other housekeepers) very rude when they were asking her questions about where extra doggie bags (to clean up behind your dogs) were located because they had run out in the dispenser located in the doggie park. She was very loud talking to them and acted as if she didn't have to or wanted to answer the question they asked. Other than that all the staff was very friendly and went above and beyond to help with any needs!!

The Best Western Plus on St Simons has a great breakfast. My favorite is the waffle machine and the coffee machine. They have a great pool. Rooms are large and beds are very comfortable. The staff couldn't b nicer and more helpful.

My only complaint is that the bathroom needs some sprucing up. Chipped paint and pencil marks on the wall. Decor a bit dated.

The room was comfortable. It was raining so we didn't get to use the pool.

The attitude of the front desk agent. There was a big pool of water directly in front of the door to enter the room, dripping from the air conditioning unit. I asked to her about it and she insisted it was from the rain they had for days and didn't even suggest that we could be right. Poor attitude. We asked to get another room and she told us she wasn't sure if we could get another, poor attitude. Didn't like the location of the elevator from the room. Far away - and steps to get to the elevator.

Everything was clean and the staff was very friendly and courteous. Pool area was great!

The only thing I did not care for was the rooms for pets combined in the same area. Our neighbors had dogs that barked and woke us up earlier than we would have liked. It would be nice if customers with pets were separate. I observed a couple checking in that requested a room that had not had pets in it before….some people{like myself} have allergies to dogs or cats.

The staff was excellent. The lady that checked me out was great. I loved her! So friendly and I left smiling. Almost all the staff was nice and friendly. Nice pool area. Our suite was nice and in great condition. The bed was comfortable.

The hot tub was down. We had the suite, and we needed a light/lamp in the eating area. The barn door on the bathroom would not stay shut we had to hold it in place with the trash can. Dog rooms would be great on the ground floor for easy potty trips in the early am or before bed.

It was in a great area. Not too far from anything. It was super clean and comfortable. It was very beautiful. Breakfast was good and the lady running it was very sweet and made sure everyone was good before breaking it down. The check in lady and guy behind the tea counter was also very sweet. We met some guess from our area there. The whole atmosphere and vibe was great. They had construction going on but even those guys were nice. The pool was closed but the pool area was beautiful. Had great hot water but low pressure. I would definitely stay again.

the pool was closed but understood why. We could go to the other hotel if wanted but we spent our time at the beach and their pool didn't compare to BWP pool. Water pressure in the room was low. Everywhere on the island has funny tasting/smelling water. Pack some bottle water and keep it in the car and room.

Staff was so very nice and helpful both in the evening and in the morning. The breakfast was super clean. In fact, I took a photo of the muffins and pastries because I never saw anything so perfectly organized (see below). The coffee station was clean, well stocked and organized. The pool area was very nice and very clean. All around very pleasant stay.

The door to the room didn't feel too secure. It wobbled a bit when it was locked. Its a very safe area though so I wouldn't worry about it.

This Best Western Plus was one of the best motels I have ever stayed at. The motel has been recently renovated, and the renovations appeared to have been carefully planned. The guestroom was very comfortable and clean. The bathroom was spacious. The breakfast offerings were excellent with a very helpful staff member available to assist with questions or requests.

The air conditioning unit created a small puddle of water outside the guestroom door due to condensation.
