We loved the location for walking the city of Savannah, GA. We liked the suite style of room with refrigerator and microwave for leftovers. The parking was convenient and the most reasonable in price that we found. The room was clean. The entrance and reception area is in a historic building. Most staff were very friendly and greeted us coming and going from the property. The included breakfast and cocktail hour were convenient.

I was not aware until check in, of a $30 a night hold on our credit card to be released 5-7 days after check out. Our room was not cleaned during our 4 nt. stay; we did put out the not needed sign the first day only. We got towels from the front desk and put our trash in a cleaning cart that was next door. The day of our departure there was no hot water in the hotel. They were waiting for maintenance to arrive at 7:30am. I believe there should be an emergency plan in place prior to staff arrival. But, none of this would prevent me from staying here again due to location and convenience.

Pros - Fantastic location. Walking distance to River Street. Employees are super friendly and nice especially the kitchen staff. They always asked us how's the food whenever we have our breakfast. Breakfast is very good, nothing fancy. Parking was close to the hotel. We prefer the parking garage which is just a block away from the hotel instead of the parking lot in the back of the hotel. We took the Old Town Trolley Hop on Hop off and Stop #11 is only 5 minutes walk. Cons - The doors are not soft close. You can hear the people when they come in and out especially at night when its quiet. Its an older building that was renovated so the wall insulation is not that good. During our stay, there were guys laughing and talking loud (almost yelling) on the hallway around 2:20 AM. Not sure if they were drunk. It woke us up because we felt like they were in front of our room since the wall or door does not have a good insulation. It seems like the staff took care of it. Not a hotel fault but good thing to know in choosing a place to stay. Will I stay in this hotel again? Absolutely YES!

The location was great. There were many restaurants to choose from in the area. It was nice to cross the street and stroll down the riverfront with many shops and restaurants. The pillows and bed were super comfortable. There was a coffee maker, full size fridge, microwave, and stovetop in the room.

Room was not very soundproof. The entry doors to the rooms are heavy and make a very loud noise when shut. I was on the ground floor just around the bar and you could clearly hear the bar patrons. I also heard someone from the adjacent room snoring.

The location was perfect - very central to the entire historical district. The staff were very friendly. The free breakfast was good and changed each day of our two night stay. The social hour (Monday through Wednesday) was a great bonus - free drinks and food! The laundry was good and we were pleasantly surprised to find it was free! The room was spacious and included a full sized fridge. Although the bathroom was small, it had everything we needed including a couple of extra towels.

The staff were superb, the afternoon drinks and small food gave the visitors an opportunity to get know each other. Ricky who served was excellent and very friendly he was always happy and smiling 😀. Which made it very inviting. All round all the staff at the suites were excellent.

For some reason the bar which was ran by a woman who seem to busy just chatting to men instead of service of all. Which turned people away from the bar after the meet and greet everyday

The manager on duty, Leslie, was very welcoming, friendly and personable. Cassel (sp?) was working behind the desk as well and was very pleasant while checking-in, informative about the surrounding area, and helpful with the amenities explanation. Check-out was a breeze as well, and though I did not get the name of the employee behind the desk, she was extremely pleasant as well!

The breakfast was good, somewhat crowded but still a value. Would have appreciated a bit more health conscious options, but all-in-all it was satisfactory.

Location was perfect didn’t need the car everything was in walking distance.. Also the DOT free trolley got u around if u didn’t want to walk . The breakfast was good the eggs were a bit processed but the rest was good !!! They had coffee 24/7 if u wanted . There is limited parking for the hotel but the parking garage is around the corner and they validate it so u don’t have to pay …Close to Riverwalk right across the street !!!

Great location for exploring the historic area of Savannah, great choice of bars and restaurants. Keep an eye out for Abe’s on Lincoln just out the door turn left and it’s about 100 yards ahead on your right, seems to be an evenings only bar and we missed it and we’re determined to go on Sunday before we left only to find it closed on Sunday. Oh well we will have to try again next time.

Unfortunately on the morning of our leaving the fire alarm went off at 5:00 am, other than that there was nothing to dislike and I would definitely use it again if I get back to Savannah

Excellent location, good variety each morning for breakfast, fun afternoon "social" and very clean facilities. The staff was friendly, efficient and helpful. The kitchen was really nice and fully stocked, and there was a nice desk area to work at. For a bonus, there is a full bar in the lobby,

It's minor, but the water pressure was not good. The bathroom was small and had no countertop making it awkward to get ready in the morning.

The location is on E. Bay, which is across from Factors Walk (shops and restaurants). If you go down the stairs from Factors, you come to River Street which has more shops, and restaurants, including those at Plant Riverside; which has a lot of attractions. Breakfast was good, although the eggs were a bit scorched and the bananas were too ripe. The cheese grits were excellent. (The photo is the view from the lobby)

There there is no outlet in the toilet room to place a night light. When you get up to go to the toilet in the middle of the night there's no way to shut the door and have light unless you turn on the overhead and fan; which is noisy for the others in the room.
