Everything was very clean. Shower was super clean and spacious. Patrick the guard was very helpful and friendly. Loved the common area. The wood benches were beautiful. We stayed in a suite of rooms next to my brothers family and we opened our front doors and patio doors to let breeze go through and to be able to chat freely. It was so nice to cook and meet in common area to eat.

I would have loved a nonstick pan, sharp knives and a bigger cutting board. It would have been cool to have some basics like some coffee filters and a little ground coffee and salt and pepper.

The price was good for our large family. I liked the usage of family gathering in the patio for dinner. It seemed very clean and well kept grounds

This facility was geat to us. We enjoyed the accommodations, room service and location. The manager was on site. Security was friendly and helpful. Close to private ⛱️. Kitchen facility was very good. Enjoyed having breakfast on the lanai.

When we checked in the receptionist wasn't very welcoming. When we left she seemed more hospitable.

We were on a budget which is difficult in Hawaii but this property helped us sleep five comfortably. Very friendly staff at check in. Accommodations were modest but so is the price so that’s ok.

The air conditioning is only in the bedrooms not the living space or kitchen. Not terrible but that was not expected.

Quirky property with a lot of room to explore. Friendly staff. Location almost in the rain forest, near beautiful beaches.

Not within walking distance of very much. Pretty far from downtown Hilo.

We absolutely loved Arnott’s Lodging! It was amazing to sit on the lanai and listen to all of the birds sing….didn’t even bother us that it rained. The two-bedroom suite was immaculate. Beds so comfy. Everything you need is in the kitchen. Love that it is eco-friendly. Sarah, host, was efficient and friendly. Will definitely stay again.

It was very cute. I absolutely loved it. We Had 5 Adults and a child. It was very comfortable.

I think TVs in the rooms would not hurt. But it would Not change my mind to stay there that’s what iPads are for.

Only negative thing was that there was coffee packet by the coffee maker one of our three nights. Otherwise everything was great.

The staff member that I met upon arriving went above and beyond during my stay. In addition, I liked how the facility was a community focused facility rather than the typical hotel room 'stay in your room' feel.

The bathroom was a bit small and its decor (tile work) was dated, but I didn't live in it.

Plenty of room, great breakfast included and nice jacuzzi in the garden
