Beautiful room Good location The scenery at the pool was awesome

We had ants that were on our food Paying for the daily valet service was an additional cost that we didn’t need Toilet water splashed on the seat after each flush

Great location able to walk to Banyon Drive & Gardens. The hotel gave us drink vouchers, golf and snorkling vouchers. The bed was very comfortable and we had a 180 view of the harbor which was stunning. Breakfast was a la cart but very delicious. And the pool was right on the waterfront so nice spot.

The cleaning supplies used in the room had a strong smell. We aired out our room after each cleaning service. The rooms could use a renovation & face lift but clean and comfortable. The bathtub is a huge step and luckily they provided a anti-slip mat because it was slick. I would have liked a small nightlight in the bathroom (which i brought myself)

The rooms were spacious and clean. I didn't experience noise from adjacent rooms. Breakfast items were quite good. Free use of pool towels and snorkeling gear. The valet parking was quick and worth the daily fee.

Bottled water was supplied only the first day of a six day stay. Extra surcharges for each day of the stay; not apprised of the fees until just prior to our stay. The original reservation was for four rooms, requested close together. Not sure if they could have been further apart.

Everything about staying at the Grand Naniloa is Always Excellent and an Amazing 😍 place to enjoy the island adventures and amenities this place has. Plus they treat their guests with Kindness and Very Hospitality -Aloha.

Valet Parking... It should be for non-hotel guests that are visiting or deciding to dine in at the restaurant & the other venues that do schedule special events. It makes the experience challenging and burdensome when it comes to having them park and letting them know if you have to leave at any moment. Very Inconvenient! It was Never like this before. Please consider catering to your Hotel guests that are paying lots of money to fund the hotel & operations.

Wonderful view of Hilo Bay from our 8th floor room. Room was small, but modern, clean and big enough for us. The grounds by the water are beautiful. We enjoyed a very pleasant morning walk there and a bagel with cream cheese, but the espresso machine was unavailable because of a ruptured hose carrying water to the machine. Estimated repair time, from a restaurant staffer: Six weeks! Three to get the replacement hose from the New England manufacturer, and three to schedule the installation.

A morning latté or cappuccino would have been nice.

Nice location-by the ocean; great views; valet and housekeeping were excellent. I enjoyed all of the Merrie Monarch activities- but couldn’t watch Merrie Monarch in my room.

My bed was very hard; I could hear noises of doors/cabinet closing at all hours; I had an adjoining room so noise carried. There were some bugs but maintenance treated the room. Narrow hallway and a long walk to my room. Couldn’t watch Merrrie Monarch in my room.

The location right on the water was so tranquil and instantly relaxing. A car is ideal, much easier to get to the supermarket and restaurants. The staff were super helpful. The gym was well equipped and with a view. Drinks at the lobby bar were great, too.

Noisy air conditioning which kicks in and out to regulate the temperature, which made it challenging to sleep. There are opening windows (in the block we stayed in) and it was cool enough to have these open at night and listen to the rain.

we really enjoyed your staff . for example, I asked for towels and they were in our room in 20 minutes. we added an additional night to our stay and the staff was able to keep us in the same room. location is great we will be back.

the only thing that was a b it off was the way you handle the foodservice. disjointed really. food was fine and service was very good but the way the lower restaurant is not affiliated with the rest of the location was disjointed. the pool was also basically out of service and noone had come to deal with it but the access to the ocean was better anyway.

The room was clean and had good thick towels. I enjoyed the warm chocolate chip cookies that I was given at check-in. The food at the hotel restaurant was very good! Live entertainment in the hotel lobby/bar was entertaining.

The sliding door to the bathroom was jammed open. There was no hot water in the shower. There are a number of derelict buildings nearby. Once you get past the lobby/bar area, the hotel is very worn.

The ocean veiw room on the 5th floor was exceptonal. The first room the had us in had a veiw of the roof and roftop equipment. I would highly recommend te ocean veiw room. Staff upgraded us for free but It would have been tragic to have to have spend 4 days looking at that roof. The staff at the hotel from front desk, valet, house keeping staff, bar staff, entertainment, was all to shelf. I would highly recommend this resort to anyone.

The first room they had us in had a horrble veiw of the roof and mechanical equipment on the roof. They room changed us to an ocean veiw room.
