Love the tranquility and the view. Some rooms have better beds and pillows than others. We've stayed there 4 times now, can't beat the prices. Is a work in progress by great owners. Always clean, pleasant staff. A basic place to spend the night, either on the way through to somewhere else or to explore Coeur d'laine. Great nearby dining. Is a bit excentric in that is kind of a hodge lodge and no two rooms are the same. But suits us.

No ice machine.

Awesome place! Our family has been coming here for over 15 years. The staff are fantastic, the rooms are clean, and the beds are comfortable. The lake view is incredible and we were able to put our kayaks in at a free public launch less that a 1/4 mile away. Oh, and did I mention the price? WOW! Great value for everything we got. We will continue to stay here every time we visit Coeur d'Alene.

That we had to leave!

This motel and the location gives the most fantastic view of the bay and the lake anytime day or night. Just a few miles from downtown you drive along the shore line before a short climb up to the motel. Bike path runs next to the main road, a supper club w/ excellant food, easy access to the water, and french doors on the room to open up to feel the cool breeze and smell of the fresh air from the lake or sit on the boardwalk in front of your room. The staff are very polite, the room was very clean, lots of trees, shade and quiet surroundings. Natural spring water so cold and taste so good to drink from the faucet in your room along with hot water that last through your shower time. This is a 5 star 10.0 rating motel you won 't ever pass by during your traveling adventures through Idaho

I couldn't stay another night

Second time staying at the property and it's a hidden gem. The family who runs the hotel does everything they can to make your stay as nice as possible. They do have a hands off approach to your stay, so if you need service, you just need to ask! It is old buildings and older rooms, but the ambience is cozy and the service is top notch.

Nothing! We have had two wonderful experiences and will be returning.

The room was New York themed and it was beautiful! The ceiling had cloud lights that came with a remote to turn it on and off! The hot tub was nice and toasty, I do wish it got hotter though but that’s alright! The view of the lake is always perfect! The staff was super friendly and they delivered when I made requests, such as asking in advance to open the door to give my room fresh air!

The only few things I didn’t like about the experience was the bed and the hot tub. The bed wasn’t very comfortable and every time my spoused moved, it woke me up. The hot tub was nice but I wished the bubbles were more intense and I wish we could’ve made it hotter.

Rustic cozy inn just right above the lake on a large hill with breathtaking views of the lake below it. The couple who run the place are inviting, accommodating and knowledgeable of the area they live in if you don't know your way around. We enjoyed having our own private hot tub in our suite. It was peaceful at night with no loud neighbors in any of the suites. We look forward to coming back again.

The water pressure was not that great in the shower and the drainage in the shower wasn't draining very well. But that is to be expected considering the age of the place and old galvanized piping.

Great family run motel, for a older place a great value and service. They work hard to make your stay as comfortable as possible. Will maybe make a yearly anniversary weekend adventure.

Not really anything I can say I didn't like, yes it is older, needs some repair in places, but it is family run with amazing views and it was quiet and very nice and comfortable for our anniversary weekend

A quaint little Inn with a spectacular view. The staff were amazing and made you feel at home. The place is dated but it has character. The beds and bathroom were clean. The place is old but it’s as if you are at home with your own backyard. We were able to mingle with some other patrons in the back picnic table. Felt like we were camping. It was great

Small complaints. But not enough garbage cans in the rooms or on location. And towels need upgrading

Wow a budget rate with a MILLION DOLLAR VIEW incredible space. Friendly and welcoming onsite mgmt. couple who were awesome. The property is genuine, truly independent, grand , a little worn but getting updated, affordable, nostalgically comfortable and stunningly gorgeous . I was so pleased through and through

That I was unable to stay longer

Very clean, tucked under the I-90 over pass with decks overlooking the lake. Enjoyed the uncrowded outdoor pool which was shaded. Our room was very comfortable and roomy and had a full hot tub and walk-in shower on one side! Separate bathroom, fridge sitting area and windows with privacy facing the woods.

This place is in need of repairs. Most are minor like peeling paint, board replacement, loose rocks that make up the stairs for the pool and some hand rails on the decks getting loose. Such a beautiful place with so much potential, lots of unused space, like a bbq area a more! I would be worried about small children unattended or a small dog not on a leash falling off the deck. Our hot tub area of the room was out dated and didn't have much lighting but we liked it. It had everything we needed though with extra towels in a basket and plenty of room around the tub. Feel bad that someone tried to update the subway tiles in the walk-in shower and messed up and never fixed it. They looked like they would have been fine! Property is owed by local people and hope they keep it that way.
