This is a true diamond in the rough. I usually stay away from these old Motel strip places, but I am sure glad we stayed here. Yes it is old. Yes it could be updated. BUT it was surprisingly comfortable and the proprietor was a gem. So helpful. I HIGHLY recommend this hotel. You'll be glad you stayed here for the money and the wonderful host. It was wonderful to sit out on the bench in the cool of the morning and enjoy the green corn field across the street. SWEET little community.

AC could have worked better, but we were comfortable enough.

The person who checked me in was very friendly, the room was clean with a normal humidity level, unlike many motels, and it smelled very nice. The location is quiet and peaceful but still close to town, with really pretty sunrises. This was a last minute booking for me, but I ended up liking this place better than the Baymont I stayed at in Keokuk last year. I do recommend it for anyone looking for budget-friendly, comfortable, and clean accommodations.

Very clean motel - we were pleasantly surprised with how nice and clean our room was! We checked in late (after midnight) but the gentleman working was friendly and got us checked in quickly. Room had everything we needed and more - lots of space, microwave, fridge, etc. Great stay - will definitely stay here again in the future!

The friendliness of staff on short notice. The rooms are renovated and comfortable. The beds had nice mattresses and enough chairs for everyone to sit comfortably as well. Pull out table to sit and eat at. Really enjoyed our stay!!! :)

The shower could have had a little more water pressure maybe a new shower head.

Staff was friendly, room clean, shower was great. Rent was affordable, room was dated, but bed was comfortable. Motel was close to things we wanted to visit. Will stay again.

The outlets are far and few between so if you have a CPAP make sure you bring a drop cord.

Some slats were missing in the blinds in our room letting in light and not providing privacy. We wished they had curtains.

It was comfortable and a great price. It had a great bathroom. It was quiet.

We booked the rooms online and when we got there, unbeknownst to my husband, he only charged us for 1 night. The following evening he banged on our door and he asked if we were staying another night, that's when we noticed he only charged for 1. I don't believe he even knew we had a reservation, because we didn't get the 1 double bed room we requested. 😒 The worse part was, it was extremely difficult to communicate with him because his English was really bad!

Clean, Large room, comfortable. Manager kindly froze our ice jugs for us because freezer in room fridge was too small. Not fancy on the outside and much nicer inside than expected
