Location is good- sitting on a one way street in a central area so there is not much traffic at all. We were anxious about street parking, but were at ease when we read street signs stating "No Parking 7am-9am Thursday April 1-October 3". The home is beautifully decorated and feels cozy. Everyone at the stay was very kind, but also courteous of one another's space. We had trouble getting into the property at first, but when calling the property they were quick to answer and help us navigate the issue. The stay was a short walk to the bus stop and the train, which was great. We took the red line right into the city each day. We stayed in the area specifically because of Lollapalooza, and would absolutely stay again. Many locals recommended Reggie's and House of Blues for those who are invested in good music. We did not get the chance to visit either, but plan to in the future.

Super clean and very modern! They room was super spacious, very clean, and had lots of light. The bathroom was super clean and also very modern. We didn’t really see the other guests so we had great privacy, they kept to themselves but were friendly. Loved the vogue theme!

Some of the lights weren’t working right, one of the lights in our room turned the lights in the bathroom. It got pretty hot upstairs and our fan didn’t work, but it cooled down during the night.

My stay at McCormick Place Guest House was excellent! The rooms were exceptionally clean, the atmosphere was quiet and relaxing, and the location felt very safe. The pricing was great for the quality of the accommodations, and everything was well-maintained. I would definitely stay here again and highly recommend it to anyone visiting the area.

This place was super clean! Always had someone coming in to do maintenance and clean up! Had a decent amount of things provided for us as well ! The neighborhood seemed safe enough and was within walking distance of a few different food places/ markets and even a little lounge/bar two houses down. There is no in unit laundry useable so keep that in mind. Had a great stay!

I would appreciate a quicker response time to text messages. They only contact through text . And there is no washer/dryer.

I appreciated being able to speak with someone on the phone to finalize the check-in—it made the process smooth and stress-free. The consistent communication was really helpful. The place itself was clean, spacious, and comfortable. Overall, a great stay!

McCormick Place Guest House was a wonderful place to stay — clean, quiet, and comfortable, with excellent communication from the host. The location is perfect, close to downtown and in a safe neighborhood, making it easy to explore the city while enjoying a peaceful retreat.

All doors locked, bathroom was nice and the fridge had ice/water

The house itself is lovely however, the location of the property is where we had our downfalls although we had no issues we still did not feel completely safe in the area and we always got an Uber home as we didn’t feel comfortable walking at night.

I liked the aesthetic of the open shared spaces, it gave a quality experience at a reduced rate.

It was cold the entire unit. The private room did come with a space heater which warmed the room up quickly but the fact the common area was so cold I stayed in the private room versus going into the living room or kitchen space.

The house truly matches the pictures so it's already a great point! There was enough amenities to share in the kitchen so I could prepare my breakfast and dinner everyday.

I stayed in a room downstairs and there were some bugs that kept entering from the hallway for a few days, but later were gone problably due to regular cleaning.

I came for a conference and the distance to the McCormick Place Convention Center was excellent.

The bugs downstairs were worrisome, but maintenence took care of the issue and there were almost none around after.
