While the Hotel is clean generally, I realised that the Cleaners don't work everyday. They clean one day and skip one day. Implication is that you have to go to the front desk if you want bathing soap or extra toilet paper.

It was close to where I needed to be (McCormick Place) and to the rail, plus enough food and coffee places. Decent price (relatively speaking), felt safe, shower/toilet worked, bed was comfy. Had enough space for stretching and light exercising in the morning.

I did notice a stain on the bedsheet, but it was near the side and not much of an issue. I also assume I could've gone to the front desk to ask for one if needed, but it would've been good to have a spare roll of toilet paper on hand in the room.

Staff is always friendly. The hotel is located in a good spot within walking distance of everything in Chinatown. Nice guest lounge with fridge. Snacks and beverages at front desk.

Wish there was a microwave and mini fridge in each room. But there's a big fridge and microwave in lounge. Wish there was also more room to park by curb when bringing in my luggage but thankful for the public parking lot that's about a block away. No elevator.

This is my second time at the Chinatown Hotel Chicago, and I love the location, the cleanliness, and the friendliness of the staff. The room was clean and quiet, even though the hotel was a half block from a busy Chinatown Summer Fair. The receptionist offered to let me leave my carry-on luggage at the front desk, so I could enjoy the city before my flight. Excellent service!

The location is great, the young lady at the desk was very friendly. Everything was clean. The shower pressure and heat was great.

It is a 3 star hotel, and lived up to 3 stars. It was clean but very outdated and a bit rundown. But for the money it's exactly what we expected and the location makes up for it. If you're going to be out and about enjoying chinatown then all you will be doing is sleeping there.

Chinatown Hotel is centrally located in Chinatown next to lots of great places to go eat. The customer service is friendly the hotel is clean and you don’t have to pay an arm and a leg like you do at Jaslin hotel who’s price changes everyday on the opposite side of the same block. Beds are very comfortable and that is what really matters.

I wish there could be a small refrigerator in the room. One of the rooms didn’t have good curtains it was boards but it does the job.

Some rooms should have a mini-frigde (for drinks) & a microwave (for leftovers). A couple coin-op laundry machines would help too.

my daughter and her girlfriend had bought tickets to the Taylor Swift concert, and were planning on driving to the concert and back home to Michigan after because they couldn't find a hotel anywhere in Chicago that they could afford. Although my daughter is 24 and an adult, I am still her mom, and knew what a long day this would be, and didn't want them to risk driving home that night. I started searching online, and found this hotel. I did the mom thing. /!: read every review, googled the hotels safety concerns etc...anything I could think of, because I couldn't understand how a hotel less then two miles from the venue (Soldiers Field), would have rooms available and renting them for just over $150. There wasn't a hotel room in the city available for under $1300 bucks. after all my research, I couldn't find anything but good reviews. So I booked it for them, and told them it was an early birthday present. I am so glad I did, and I love the fact the hotel represents itself so transparently. They provide great pics and and a very good description of where you are staying. The hotel is very clean, the girls felt very safe, the staff was very helpful, and we would highly recommend staying here, if you are seeking a similar experience. If you are looking for a clean, affordable, safe place to stay in Chicago, without all the high end amenities...this is it! so close to everything. The hotel does not include parking, but at this price, why would they. There is safe parking less than a 3 min walk from the hotel and it is only $16 dollars a day. For Chicago this is great!!! If you are on the fence about booking, I hope this review helped you make a decision.

The China Town Hotel is located in an excellent area with close proximity to many interesting locations of Chicago. The staff was very helpful especially Ms. Farah and Mr Muhammad, they took good care of us during our stay. The hotel has good value for money. I shall recommend all to stay in this hotel.

I can't think of nothing I didn't like but I know I wanted to check in early and they checked it out and it came back and told me that they can do that for me so I checked there early with no charge so it's nothing I didn't like
