I particularly enjoy coming here same time every year to visit family for the past 5-7 years. One year it was booked and I was highly annoyed because the other hotels in the area aren't as nice or accommodating for the same price. It's usually always clean from top to bottom but this visit i noticed, a weird smell in the elevator (it usually smells fresh, like a clorox wipe) the hallway carpets were pretty grimy and the towels could use a brightener. The hotel staff were visible as needed cleaning common areas and assigned rooms. The free breakfast is definitely a plus as it includes an assortment of pastries, yogurt, cereal and hot breakfast food like waffles, eggs, breakfast meat and potatoes. There were basic beverage items available in addition to a variety of condiments. There always seems to be something available for different dietary needs (not sure about gluten free products though). This is not a 4 or five star hotel but its pretty good for the value. Good and safe parking available, great location near shops and eateries within 5 min or less by car.

Cleanliness of carpets, elevator, I like when my room has a crisp, fresh feel and smell. It wasn't gross, but I didn't get that clean, crisp feeling this time around.

Staff were friendly and accomodating. Historically my visits are very pleasant and the hotel is consistently very clean. The parking is good, area is safe and close to many shops and eateries.

Upon entering my room i noticed the bed was slightly disheveled (mainly the pillows). I noticed upon laying on the bed that it smelled like cologne. Kinda gross it was evident that someone laid on the bed prior to me. I mentioned it to the front desk but did not want to make a big fuss, so i just wiped the bed down. The smell wasn't all over the bed, just one area; like a staff member took a nap and then decided to continue with the rest of their day.

The fitness facilities were great. I was happy to see a TRX system available and especially the Peloton Bike. The only thing with the bike is that the pedals didn't come with a craddle only for clip in shoes and without knowing to bring my clip in cyclig shoes, riding in regular shoes on that base was uncomfortable.

The breakfast was not the greatest. I understand they order in bulk, however, the food was the exact same every day and we were there for 3 days. We ended up going to eat at a restaurant the last day in order to get variety. The flavor in the food was very bland. I would have loved to see granola as an option for cereal or to eat with yogurt. Fresh fruit instead of just a banana would have been good, and variety of the egg and sausage options. Lastly, offer free water throughout the day. There were no option for water only coffee and other breakfast drinks.

Staff was very friendly, accommodating, and helpful. Joseph at the front desk was excellent! The room we had was nice, clean, updated and modern, nice shower, comfy bed. Most of all it was QUIET! I don’t know if other guests were just being super courteous or if the soundproofing of the rooms is just that good but even with our tv off we did not hear other guests above, below, or in adjacent rooms, nor did we even hear ppl walking in the hallway, it was super nice. I will definitely stay again when over in that area for anything. I am unsure on the free breakfast as we did not utilize it, as we stayed only 1 night and slept in. Check out time is also a generous 11am. Check in is at 3 pm but Joseph checked us in early without issue! Absolutely recommend the hotel!

The room was very clean and spacious. The breakfast buffet was kept well stocked and had a good variety of foods available.

Our door lock battery went dead. When we returned from supper, we were locked out of our room for over 30 minutes waiting on someone to change the batteries so our cards would read again. It was 10 p.m., so we were all tired and ready for bed. The tub drain was clogged and drained very slowly. Ankle deep in water by the end of my shower. These are minir things in my opinion as cleanliness is at the top of my list and this place surpassed my expectations in that category.

Everything was good especially trying to make the best out of something that’s not your own…

The only thing I would say is to have housekeepers make sure they check everything such as toilets. I was the first one to use the restroom in 308 and there was residue in the toilet from a bowel movement… there was also a towel laying across the tub….

The breakfast was good - adequate choice. Room well appointed and clean. Coffee and water available 24/7. Rooms had plenty of USB sockets for charging and space for toiletries.

A little more choice for breakfast - perhaps some granola or a pancake machine.

When checking in, I was greeted with a smiling customer service rep. The staff was really nice. Very clean lobby, elevator, hallways and room. My view from my room was a beautiful pound with a fountain. Very soothing I must say! Bed was very comfortable. The free breakfast had a nice selection and was good. I really enjoyed my stay there, will be back! 😊

We had issues with hot water in the shower.

The breakfast was great, and the location is wonderfully close to so many restaurants. We went to a cracker barrel. And the motel was maybe a 1/8 of a mile from the restaurant.
