I did not have breakfast. I liked they had a copper water purification station in the lobby (drinking out of copper is very healthy). Also many teas, and hot cocoa. I liked that they are very pet friendly. The front desk associate had a service dog with her. The room was huge and felt safe and comfortable. Difficult to find in rural towns such as this.

The heating system was a bit difficult. It finally kicked on and kept the room warm. It was exceptionally cold this day (15 degrees). The curtains hung too low and blocked the heat some. I would suggest window shades instead, perhaps.

On check-in Tracy, trainee, and her trainer, whose name I didn’t catch, were particularly friendly and helpful. I left early in the morning and Jasmine was very help and helped me with water and ice for the day’s drive.

I find your survey particularly annoying with your character count. Having to get it however long before I can submit it. This keeps me from doing the short positive input l would like to submit and/or keeps you from getting the little input you apparently don’t want to hear. Also gives me the impression you think your time is more important than mine. Is that enough input for you?

The Urbanna/Champain area is not that large, and hotels near the university are higher priced. This hotel is in a very quiet area of Savoy, but located near many shops and restaurants and Walmart. You might spend 15 minutes getting all the way to the other side of town, but it's still convenient to the university. It's next to another hotel that has an outdoor pool,while this hotel has an indoor pool-the hotel has an agreement for use of that outdoor pool and spa area which is a nice option on those hot summer days. Refrigerator and microwave located in each room. The small freezer in the refridgerator actually works pretty well. The AC unit is quiet, as hotel AC units go. Pretty nice fitness room. Beds are comfortable. No frills, but a good place to stay for the price.

The hotel is older, so in my room the wifi USB plugs didn't even work-had to use my laptop plugged into the wall then plug my devices into my laptop to get them charged. Wifi is sketchy-sometimes it worked and sometimes it didn't. Phones didn't list a "front desk" number so I had to walk down to the lobby for issues with the wifi. TV doesn't have a sign into netflix or other options-these are not 'smart TV's" so it's just your basic tired old hotel variety channels.

Convenient location near restaurants and campus without being in the congestion / high noise zone (esp. during a ball game at the Stadium or Assembly Hall). Very friendly staff. Room & bed very comfortable. Very good WiFi connection. And the best shower water pressure ever!

Directly N of Savoy fire station, so light sleepers might notice some noise (not a problem for me). Some minor maintenance issues, but nothing significant. Breakfast could be nicer, but it suffices.

This hotel was incredibly clean and tidy, nothing was broken or inoperable, the buildings air was nice and fresh, the staff are very courteous and very helpful, house keeping even came back to do my room when I left late for the day. The room was very clean, 5 stars clean, I’m not exaggerating because I am very critical of cleanliness, you can tell the staff care about your experience, I stayed 4 nights and it was the best I have ever had, A BIG thank you to the staff for a wonderful stay!!!!!!

Upon check in the staff was very nice and accommodating. The room was very nice and clean, the beds were super comfortable. Breakfast on Sunday was very good.

The only down fall that I saw was that we had to book a time to use the hot tub and pool. This was hard to do since we weren't sure what our schedule was. The housekeeping services came to our room before checkout on Sunday to clean which was a bit irritating.

Very friendly & helpful staff; good location (close to UC with easy access to everything, but not in the middle of all the noise / traffic); very comfortable bed; great water pressure in shower; WiFi worked well.

No show stoppers, but breakfast was a bit limited and some minor maintenance issues with room.

The location isn't too far off campus but still a good distance to not experience traffic or a crowded environment. Staff were super friendly when explaining the policies and upcharges if anything were to change. The room was very spacious.

The drain on the tub was very, very slow and the shower curtain did not looked washed or well maintained.

As always the staff was friendly and the room was clean.

The hot tub heater was out and no one informed me. The first and third mornings breakfast was delicious except for no OJ. The second mornings breakfast there were no eggs or sausage made available 🤔

They had a very strange pool policy - only one family allowed in at a time and you had to register for time slots. The hot tub was in pretty rough shape (deterioration of the the seats), but it worked and was warm and relaxing. The bed was really comfortable! Breakfast was alright - the biscuits were really hard, but everything else was pretty good.
